Ya, Rooster invested a lot into anti missile, and the board was STILL completely on fire in the first 5 seconds. He was just able to contain the fire to his opponents side.
For one Vulcan with only incendiary bombs you need two AM devices and a saber is roughly 0.6 AM device (it's the worst in the game, then you have farseer which is 0.8 AM device). So you'd need 4 Sabers for only one Vulcan and theoretically you'd need 7 or 8 Sabers if that Vulcan has oil bombs on top of that. Now imagine multiple vulcans with double tech and other missiles in the air... AM Saber is only good ad reducing damage, not preventing fire or negating Stormcallers.
Saber anti missiles are so bad... I also have a feeling a-m does not work against the firebombs. There's still fire everywhere, just not so far on your side. I feel like any other tech on the sabers would have been better, no?
@@felixbeaudouin1899 I've had a few games where I tried a-m against vulcain missiles, there was no napalm, no firebadgers and still fire landed everywhere on the board. It feels like shooting down the vulcain missiles still causes the fire to fall where the missiles were shot.
Yeah saber antimissile is among the weakest interception techs. It's still decent to stop damage from callers, farseer and phantoms. In this case, I was simply planning to buy more of them so it didn't seem a bad investment.

Oops 🤣
Spiders are very good into sledgehammers is what I meant to say 🤪

Elite spec would have been salivating at double light manufacturing. That had to be quite the fun game to play all those cheap units haha
Can we talk about how vulvan oil and fire is just impossible to stop with anti missile

@@aiugiamos3057 oof! That is a lot of AM devices. Makes sense why people typically build shields instead of trying to intercept.
Wonder how ranged multi melter wouldve done. Since he already got the melters for some reason.

The fire is from the napalm from the badgers

@RoosterUA-cam Ya, you could drop 5 a turn for cheap... Who needs Sledge Hammers when you can just make a firing line of Sabers? xD
AM from the saver is roughly 0.6 AM device and you need at least 2 really well placed AM devices to block just one incendiary OR oil Vulcan.
