Emily seems fantastic as the Baker's Wife. The film seems very good and I propose that if "Into The Woods" is as good as it looks, Rob Marshall should direct the "Wicked" film version.
Are there plans for a film adaptation of Wicked because that would be AWESOME!! They would have to get the right crew to direct, produce and act in it though cuz as a fan, I demand nothing less than perfection.
warriorbard It's been confirmed to be in production! It's coming out in 2016. Though it sucks because Idina and Kristin were told they're too old to be Elphaba and Galinda in the movie. Also I really hope the get the casting right.
the marketing for this movie is pretty clever, i bet everyone will leave the theater complaining like they did Sweeney Todd not realizing its based on a musical
+residentevil4life Some guy in my biology class didn't know it was a musical even though you can hear like bits of the chorus in the background of the trailer :/
omfg when my teacher showed us Les Mis in french class, the kids were like “UGH why are they SINGING so much” and i turned around and was like “it’s a musical...”
I watched this video yesterday and I thought it was absolutely phenomenal. I loved the story's plot and how it's so twisted but comes together in the end. BRAVO!
She is fantastic. She sang so beautifully. I loved this movie, but this scene was one of my favorites. The other two were the witch singing at the end and all of them singing about whose fault it is.
love her! i went to see the movie "into the woods" strictly for her because i can't stand musicals (what can i say! i know they are good and such great talent, i just don't like them! don't like animation films either! anyway)... she is one of a very small handful of new "it" people i will see be in anything (amy adams, jessica chastain).. glad she's is getting attention, roles and success and i hope she continues upward and onward in her career!...
last musicals i saw before "into the woods" were EVITA and ROCK of AGES which i did both enjoy.. but otherwise musicals annoy me they just do whether a movie musical or a play musical... like i said i know there's talent doing it up on stage or on film i just can't bear to hear it!
i went to a catholic grade school and it was considered EVIL to even mention much less sing a song from jesus christ superstar! lol! i remember one kid singing out loud "jesus christ superstar, who in the hell do you think you are!" oh boy did he get in trouble with the nuns who happened to overhear him trying to be funny singing this loudly outloud!...
If she was my wife i would never get sad in my whole life, forget her Hollywood acting or fame or her money. I mean she is very romantic inside and humorous woman, just inspiring and mesmerizing without even showing on tv... love you Emily wholeheartedly😔😔
I find it so uncool and so absolutely REVOLTING that some people come into the commentary section JUST TO SPOIL THE END OF THE MOVIE! I've waited months for the release in my country, and now I simply know the end. THANK YOU VERY MUCH, BASTARDS
I adore both women, on a professional level as well as how cute they are. Amy is stunningly beautiful in her (I'm guessing navy) blue attire. Especially her navy blue nylons, so very elegant and attractive.while at the same time off the chart sexy. The two women seem to genuinely enjoy each other's company. It appears they would make good and solid friends with each other.
Mat Gudelis Host? It's not a male but a woman, thus..._hostess_. You do discriminate between male and female form in the "United States of Unconsciousness" don't you? Right? Barman, Barmaid, Hero, Heroine. etc etc. Now onto your question: the name of the hostess is amy robach.
Oh wow. Like, I just saw these two comments. I'm a feminist, I really am. What I'm not is a native speaker of English, so an occasional mistake will happen.
Matt Gudelis You're a feminist? Sorry to hear that, not that it has anything to do with the subject matter. That aside, you should learn to use male and female form, and in a correct way. Host = male form. Hostess = female form. And in case you haven't noticed, men and women are very much _different_
Tom Helms I hate this movie, and the reason is I don't like musical, why I went to see it in the first place, because of the false marketing everywhere even on IMDb it doesn't say that this movie is a musical. I left the theater the minute they started to sing.
Mohammed Khaliji That is your own damn fault. Video trailers clearly told me it was one. There is a live musical called into the woods that came out in 1991.
I didn't realise she could sing and was so glad to hear she could. She's seriously underrated.
[Five years later] Not anymore. :-)
She's so famous now,one of my favorite actresses
OMG I laughed out loud at her "And a prince...for whatever. NEVER!" I cannot wait for this film!!!
That little scene is really endearing!
she died tho
Carlos Alejandro Alvarenga well come for spoiling 💞👏🏻👏🏻
"...and a prince for whatever *giggles*" Too cute

The man who produced Wicked on stage also produced the film version of Wicked, so a movie version of that could possibly be in the works.
sweeney60 "Film version"?
@ 1:49 --freakishly flawless segue by the interviewer.
"speaking of googoogaga..." such a good transition omg who is this interviewer?
Her interpretation is flawless. I CANNOT wait for this.
She wished more than ever to "eat pasta everyday"
same Emily Blunt
she needs to stop with the self deprecation. such a phenomenal actress!
Not gonna happen, she's British. :-)
Emily got the most beautiful smile that i ever seen. I love her sense of humor.
She was my favorite in the movie!! Her voice is beautiful!!
I died when she responded "eat pasta everyday" like same😂😂😂
the marketing for this movie is pretty clever, i bet everyone will leave the theater complaining like they did Sweeney Todd not realizing its based on a musical
Actually ITW's Facebook is filled with 'I didn't expect it to be a musical'. It's been there for 20 years people!
that why i hated this movie
+residentevil4life Some guy in my biology class didn't know it was a musical even though you can hear like bits of the chorus in the background of the trailer :/

she looked right at the camera in the clip of her singing, i'm surprised they kept that in
0:03 hello kitty in the background
Omg lol

Carlos Alejandro Alvarenga GO TO BED

I'm the same way! I kind of like musicals but I saw it only for Emily Blunt, the same for all her films, and she is definitely up and coming
sophiemanic Other than The Wizard of Oz and Annie I have not seen any other musicals.
last musicals i saw before "into the woods" were EVITA and ROCK of AGES which i did both enjoy.. but otherwise musicals annoy me they just do whether a movie musical or a play musical... like i said i know there's talent doing it up on stage or on film i just can't bear to hear it!
thomas schmitz My memory just jogged. When I was little I saw Jesus Christ Super Star and Tommy. Both of those were strange to me.
i went to a catholic grade school and it was considered EVIL to even mention much less sing a song from jesus christ superstar! lol! i remember one kid singing out loud "jesus christ superstar, who in the hell do you think you are!" oh boy did he get in trouble with the nuns who happened to overhear him trying to be funny singing this loudly outloud!...
"Eat pasta everday" XD i love her omg

She's so talented and and Beautiful
Emily Blunt is truly amazing. She is really good at singing.
"Eat pasta every day..." ahaha just love her ❤️
She's gorgeous!!!! OMG I just love her so much
I love how Emily corrects herself: NASAL hair. She's always so endearing and a good sport to laugh with.
If she was my wife i would never get sad in my whole life, forget her Hollywood acting or fame or her money. I mean she is very romantic inside and humorous woman, just inspiring and mesmerizing without even showing on tv... love you Emily wholeheartedly😔😔
I love her in The young Victoria and I'm sure I will like her in ,Into the woods too.
why is the interviewer always reminding emily like "girl i can sing too"
That song is so weird and hard and she sings it so well omg
looks directly into the camera at 0:32
interesting choice.
haha
right?
+Countfoscolikesmice She's Deadpool.
"In my american apparel underwear" is all i heard in the end. #5SOSFAM
I WAS SO SHOOK
Stephany Rodriguez same!!!
Emily is GREAT! She nails the Baker's wife well! Much better performance than her mostly emotional but too subdued take in THE WIND RISES.
Did that host just give away a spoiler by saying that Emily Blunt's character would be lrefnant by the end of the movie? WTF?
she didn't, the pregnancy comes halfway through the movie.
And then she dies at the end lol not joking
she is amazing and i loved the whole movie she made it the best movie ever
her laugh is so cute
One of my favorite British actress. That accent astonishes me. weew Lucky bastard JOHN Kasinski..
She also plays the violin. And her husband plays the trumpet. I'm speechless.
I love Emily Blunt - she’s the most beautiful woman in the world for me.. ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰😘
Aw I love Emily!! XD
And at the end of the interview my face went from ^_^ to O.O wen I heard the song at the very end xD lol
Emily when you had your baby and died you made me Cry
you sing so good
I find it so uncool and so absolutely REVOLTING that some people come into the commentary section JUST TO SPOIL THE END OF THE MOVIE! I've waited months for the release in my country, and now I simply know the end. THANK YOU VERY MUCH, BASTARDS
Oh my gosh 2:27-3:06, I'm dieing!
I never knew Emily could sing ❤️❤️
As much as I hate the movie I'm not ashamed to admit that I loved Emily Blunt as the Baker's Wife
very happy with her performance...
Perfection
I Can Wait To See Emily Blunt As Tempest Shadow From My Little Pony The Movie In 10-6-17
what she said about pasta is my life
Not as weird as mine. Mine made me meow 😂

Did this interview just spoil Into the Woods for me? Crap I think the ending was revealed in the first 30 seconds of the interview!!
nope oh god that is not the ending at all

+knut761 You need to calm down, like woah. The person above you clearly just didn't know.

Kyreem Powers It opened on Broadway in 1987. This is the film version of it.
