What a speech! He says to us “thank you for letting me represent this city and allowing me into your homes every Sunday”. I say thank you for representing us with unmatched talent, effort and heart and for being someone worth inviting into my living room every week for 13 years. God bless you and your family now and in the years ahead.

If you don't respect every aspect of Jason Kelce's game, then you don't know football. I am not an Eagles fan but this man was and is a true professional. His heart and determination jumped off the screen anytime you watched an Eagles game. One could say he is the Philadelphia Eagles. I wish him nothing but the best in his retirement and I know he will be just as successful off the field as he was on it.

I come from a football family. My father coached and he is an Illinois IHSA Football Hall of Fame Coach as is my husband’s father. My knowledge is vast due to watching my dad draw up plays and the number of films I watched with him.

This is NOT the "full" speech. You edited out the one minute and 11 seconds at the beginning where he was overcome with emotion before he could even start talking. That is so powerful and you cut it.
