Good video bro, fire asf. Also, the virus works on how the host dies.
If you die from bleed out, you’ll turn. If you get your head smashed in, you won’t. As long as your brain is completely destroyed, it doesn’t matter how you die. Basically, anything that doesn’t destroy your brain means you’ll turn
You gotta play BULLY eventually jett it's by Rockstar and it's really good
Is good
Fun Fact: The original ending for this episode would have Clem either leave AJ in the snow to survive, or die with him in the snowstorm. They cut it due to being too dark.
Good! 😭😭 the entire fan base would’ve been HEATED
@@EmperorSwift-IThat would’ve broken everybody. 😭
Kenny was also supposed to be in Carver’s role, and it would’ve been Kenny vs. Luke instead of Kenny vs. Jane
In cold blood talks about a lot of cut content through out the games. Wish they kept some of it.
Yeah I just learned that recently and I hate that no way! No!
When Kenny says" you lost your taste for this sorta thing" he's referring to you staying behind and watching Carver get bashed in.

yeah it's sad how he died
basically jane left a baby alone in the cold thinking clem would be on her side 💀
For me, ending S2 at Wellington completes Kenny's arc perfectly. Despite the conditions they endured and the things that Kenny did, he ultimately set up Clem and AJ the best way he could knowing he wasn't right mentally after Katjaa, Duck, Lee, and Sarita's deaths.
yes, definitely the most satisfying storywise imo
It's the only way for him to stay alive,

I noticed this comment before I watched the episode and I’ve been waiting for it! 😂
Jane 100% deserved what she got. She literally tried to sabotage the relationship between Clem and Kenny. And the fact that she left AJ in that car to freeze proves that she didn’t give a shit about AJ. And Clem was just some crazy replacement of the sister she had that passed.
so true!
Sadly I agree
Yes, you can realize how much she didn't give a sh t about Clem, if you stay with her in season 3

Jett, you picked the only ending where Kenny may actually survive. Staying in Wellington is the only way to keep him alive in season 3, which you did so Kenny lives.
Yep, and that way it gives Kenny the ability to put Clem and AJ first and do what's best for them, what any parent would do... I really fucking hope there is a world where he made it to Florida and got better... not dying the way he would have in the other outcome
Wellington ending Kenny makes it to Florida 100%
@@KratosGow5652yeah same my first time playing I stayed with him and I felt like such a fucking idiot when I figured out that if you just stay at Wellington then he technically stays alive but in my mind when I picked that choice I just didn’t want kenny to be alone and for them to raise aj like a family so I stayed with him and after seeing him die like that I wish I never made that decision I just wanted to be with him a little longer but the writers really said yeah fuck no we killing this guy and your gonna be forced to watch him get torn apart as he does like godamn it I wish I never picked to stay with him 😔
No, theres a Kenny easter egg in s4 which implies hes in "heaven" during the violet and clem bell tower thing
@@ferduzutje there’s also an Easter egg in season 3 where Javier can meet a talking walker. Easter eggs are not canon
So to kind of explain what Jane’s deal was at the end… basically she thought of Clementine like her second sister and wanted to keep her safe. She was selfish and wanted Clementine to all to herself because she didn’t think Kenny was mentally stable enough to care for two kids. By hiding AJ and making Kenny think AJ was dead, Kenny would be pushed over the edge to prove to Clementine that he was too far gone and so that they could go off and live their lives free of Kenny’s mental instability. At the end of the day, it’s selfish, and many people in the community agree her decision to hide AJ was selfish and dumb. However there are a lot of people (especially when this game first came out) that sided with Jane and killed Kenny. Couldn’t be me though
I will also say, the ending feels incredibly rushed… and that’s because it is. The whole game was setting up a Luke vs Kenny showdown in the finale but the writers switched it to Jane for some reason at the last minute
As for the canon ending… there is no canon ending. They all lead into season 3 in different ways. That being said, you easily got the best ending when it comes to what happens between seasons 2 & 3. I’d recommend sticking with Wellington as your ending because trust me, if you go with Kenny you WILL be disappointed
Final thing, I swear… while seasons 3 and 4 still have death and still have misery, I think everyone will agree that they are nowhere near as dark as seasons 1 or 2. I hope you stick through it all because season 4 is genuinely fantastic
Bro let him play the way he wants. Don't tell him he will be disappointed, let him earn that disappointment on his own. Stop trying to play the game for him.
I just ddon't understand in what world would anyone side with jane
Well said. Thank you for this!
Seasons 3 and 4 not as dark? I remember things from them that are arguably darker than most things from seasons 1 and 2.
@@MaigenMaylight there’s a couple of moments for sure but I would say, by and large, they’re not as “fucked up”. They’re still dark, just not fucked up
Arvo is quite possibly the slimiest little rat in this series. Got luke killed running over the lake and has the audacity to try and steal all your shit and shoot clem even if you were constantly nice to him. Mike and bonnie are no better, going to leave clem and aj with no food just because they dont like Kenny? All for some kid who robbed and tried to kill yall that you dont even know? Facts
Kenny the only one that kept it real since the jump
Gavin Hammon’s performance as Kenny is honestly one of the most underrated video game performances ever given in my opinion. It’s easily overshadowed by Dave Fennoy’s Lee of course, because we all remember Lee for his relation to Clementine. But Gavin Hammon poured his absolute heart into making Kenny as relatable as he could despite his flaws. The more I grow up, the more I find myself agreeing with things I used to disagree about him on in the past, like killing Larry in the meat locker (but I realize now that it genuinely was a necessity as they genuinely couldn’t take that risk). He’s a character you get to feel so much empathy for throughout the series and I genuinely could not have pictured anyone else other than Gavin Hammon in that role.
I would honestly argue his voice performance is slightly better than Dave's. I've never cried at Lee's death, although it was very heartbreaking, but Kenny's goodbye at Wellington opened up some part of my heart and it marked the first time I've genuinely cried at a video game.
@@table3310 Yeah, it‘s incredibly underrated. A shame we don’t see Gavin Hammon in more in-depth character roles because he’s got some serious talent to offer for someone who started out doing voices for children’s toys.

frr
I mean I love Kenny, but he is a bit pf a psycho too
@tmm4195 Kenny is without a doubt unstable and still as stubborn as he was in S1. But my problem has always been that the story really tries to paint Kenny as too far gone, *_but then he rightly acknowledges the bigger picture. Like how newborn babies eat a lot._*
When he mentioned how AJ had maybe a day's worth of food, even I hadn't thought about that. Kenny was the only one who did.
@@Jamushu Yeah Kenny definitely has good points, but he also has irrational ones too. Just like he did in season 1. If ur interested, here’s all the cut content for season 2!!
- Kenny was originally supposed to be Carver! They got pretty far in making the models before they decided to change it, as they felt too many players would end up still siding with Kenny, since we already previously knew him.
- You originally had a choice to shoot Mike during the standoff. It was even in the game for a short period, before they decided against it, and patched it a week or so after it released.
- The og fight in the last scenes was actually going to be between Luke and Kenny. Not too sure why they decided against it last minute
- Troy was going to be a lot weirder towards Clementine, but they decided to not go forward with it, since it would be too dark.
- this one I’m not actually 100% sure but there was speculation that Carver was actually going to be Negan, who is in the tv show and comic books.
- episode 5 was actually going to be called “Better to Sleep” and the final choice was going to take place with Clementine holding Aj in the snow. They’re both freezing and Clementine can no longer carry AJ. The player would have to make a choice to either leave Aj and have him die of hypothermia and give Clementine a better chance of making it out of the cold, or Sit with Aj and have both of them die of Hypothermia. The game would then end there. They cut this after they found out they could make another season. Which is also the reason why so many died this season, they didn’t see the point in letting more people live since we would never be getting to see them again.
this is so interesting❤
OHHHHHHH THAT EXPLAINS WHY THEY DROP LIKE FLIES
Choosing between luke and Kenny would have been way more difficult
I wish they kept the Kenny vs Luke scenario. It would've made more sense since Kenny and Luke didn't always get along very well specially in the near end of EP 4. Also, I've heard that originally EP 4 was going to be way darker and would've also had more focus on the 400 Days characters. EP 4 originally had a more cult like feeling to it (made even more evident by it's poster in the game) so it's a shame that stuff got cut out.
I'm pretty sure they killed Luke because him and Clementine got close and people started to make the relationship between them really weird so they changed it to Jane
JETT PLEASEEE im going insane over here
The glitch with the bottle disappearing and Clem drinking literal air is even more funny than her just drinking it regularly
52:01 he’s referring to when you stayed back and watched Kenny beat Carver to death in episode 3 and because you tried to help Arvo, Kenny was shocked at your choice since at this point he believed Clementine was comfortable at witnessing acts of brutality.

3 was light work but that's because the characters aren't interesting at all. 4 is dark depending on what you do but it's not like morally gray in any way. Most people in 4 are obviously bad people or good so when something happens it's not this conflicting feeling.
Tbh F jane and her stupid idea, what did she expect if she go to a broken man who watched his wifes die, and kill his son, lost all of his friends, has brain damage and lost an eye and annoys him and say she killed the new child he wanted to raise just to test him ?

The way she was like “help me Clem!!” Like she didn’t do it to herself
thats exactly her point though. hes too "broken" to take care of clem which we've seen so many times
she never said she "killed" AJ. Anything could have happened out there, which should have been common sense. Kenny assumes that though and tries to kill her over his assumption. Which is his whole problem.
So... Luke was a big brother figure for Clem, Kenny was a step dad/uncle figure and Lee was a father figure... And they all dead.. sick..🤙🤙😭

I'm so glad you realized how dumb Jane was
I found her so annoying and not relatable at all. She spends the whole game implying that “children are nothing but burdens, don’t trust others, you need to go solo” and then tries a whole manipulation tactic to get Clementine with her. Like, what? She came across as obsessive over Clementine.

I'm by no means a Jane defender. That bitch sucks. But in that moment, I don't think Clem would've genuinely let Kenny kill an "innocent person". Obviously we find out she wasn't innocent and was deliberately fucking with him, but that's besides the point. Clem could tell Kenny wasn't all there anymore and wouldn't let him kill Jane over this.
Kill Kenny, leave Jane and venture out on your own is the best ending for me (as bleak as it is). It makes sense with the direction S3 takes a bit more too.
In the end, every situation Jane was in that turned out bad, Kenny would have handled better. Every situation Kenny was in that turned out bad, Jane would have done the same or worse.

Jett stop looking at your damn phone bro 🗣
Jane wanted to seek a fight with Kenny. Throughout the season, it is shown that Kenny is a very mentally unstable person, and very different from who he was back in season 1. Jane knew Kenny was dangerous, but also didn't understand why Clementine wanted to stay with him so bad. She purposefully hid the baby to provoke Kenny and to try to show Clementine what kind of person he was. The writing on this season was definitely very shaky and not as tight as season 1, which is a very common complaint, mainly due to the fact that different writers handled this season. You aren't the only one who was questioning this episode
mentally unstable is thinking without knowing shit kenny not only knew arvo was a threat, the reason nobody died in that stand off, started the car, and help have aj born he ain’t unstable he just very ruthless learn the difference dumb nigga
I still don’t get how she thought her master plan was a convincing one. Like, she wanted to pretend AJ was dead so she could what? Prove to Clem that Kenny is a madman for…doing what any reasonable adult guardian would do upon finding out the child he’s looking after seemingly died and Jane was responsible for it? AND on top of that, she did this to a father who already lost his biological child. Like, all she did was show that Kenny was a fiercely devoted parent who did what anyone else with a heart and conviction would’ve done, it wasn’t like this was some insanely out of character thing for him to do. All this proves is that he’s a better person to look after Clem than Jane ever was.
@@GustEdgeOfficial It's still very undeniable that Kenny is mentally unstable. Obviously, Jane had a stupid plan. She had a goal in mind and had the worst possible plan to try and prove that to Clementine.
@@GustEdgeOfficial I think she snapped and tried to win Clem over to make up for leaving Jamie to die, hence the insane plane to drive her away from Kenny.
@@pnobodi5341 Even more reason why I’m glad Jett chose to let her die
Fun fact: during the scene where Clementine has the gun pointed at Mike, there actually used to be an option to shoot and kill him. In fact, that option ended up being in the final game for a little bit when this episode initially released (only on the PS3 version though), with there being fully rendered animations of Clem shooting Mike and Mike bleeding out as well as dialogue from Clem, Bonnie, Kenny and Jane regarding the fact that Mike died. It stayed up for about a day before Telltale patched it out to the current version, but you can still find clips of it online

My dude picked the best ending for Kenny. Stay at Wellington in my opinion, wrapped up Kenny's arc the best way possible. He actually got peace knowing that his family Clem and AJ made it safe and sound to Wellington after all the hardships they faced. Kenny knows they'll grow up strong and good because he has faith in both of them. Lee would be so proud of Kenny for what he accomplished here.
47:22 Survival hack if anyone ever gets in this situation (for whatever reason) Lay down and distribute your weight evenly over the ice, then you can slide yourself forward with your arms until you're on thicker ice
Correct. Standing up means all your bodyweight is focused on one spot (your feet), laying down means less weight on one spot so the ice doesn't have to carry as much at once.
I was gonna say. More weight didn't help, pal! You go slow, and you slide like a penguin. Lol.
bro where are you🥲
Jane is an interesting case. She brings up some valid concerns about Kenny, but seems to feel some kind of need to prove her point to Clem. She pretty much only badmouths the guy and even when Clem defends him she is so pessimistic about it. Kenny does the same thing, but when you defend Jane to him he's a lot more receptive of Clems view.
I think by the end, she felt a desperate need to 'prove' it to Clem. She said it herself when they we're driving. She wanted to run and leave ASAP, just like everyone else. In this desperate attempt to try and prove her point, she endangers a baby knowing it would cause Kenny to snap, and force Clem into a situation where she believed she would have no choice but to kill Kenny.
Thats absolutely crazy and manipulative asf imo. But lots of people will say Kenny is dangerous, hell even Kenny at the end here says he doesn't trust himself. It's a reasonable concern given everything that man has been through. I remember Pewds shot Kenny in this, and when he found out AJ was alive, he left Jane and ended up alone with Clem and AJ.
S3 also provides insight into the characters a bit more too, depending on how this season ends in your playthrough, ofc I wont spoil nothing but seeing what happens if you end up with Jane... man, messed up stuff.

There’s not too many lines in media that make me emotional just remembering the words, but “I’m real glad to have met you, Clementine” is up there
Jane's character is very complex. Just like Kenny, she's experienced a lot of trauma. In Kenny, it presents itself in anger. While in Jane, it takes the form of apathy and self-preservation. The people Kenny had were his family, those he met along the way, and Sarita. With Jane, she had her sister. The way Jane spoke of her sister was as a liability; someone she had to convince to live, and later couldn't force to survive. For the longest, Jane held people at arm's length to avoid that level of pain again. It was clear in the game that she portrayed herself as a loner, but that was to mask her feeling of loneliness. She repeated several times that she didn't want the same fate as her sister and Sarah for Clementine. She explained that she wanted to give Clem the tools needed to survive. On top of that, Jane taught Clementine lessons that she believed were how to keep her safe. Jane also said that she wanted to let Luke into her bubble, and felt the pain of loss again when he died. Clementine was Jane's only shot at not being alone... of having the life she wanted. I don't even believe AJ was all that important to Jane, in comparison to how she viewed Clementine. Even to Rebecca, Jane said "What are you going to do with it?" in reference to AJ.
I truly believe that Jane wanted to pursue her ideal life with Clementine, which means AJ comes along with that. But, Kenny was not someone she wanted in her story. She manipulated the events so that she could plant seeds of doubt in Clementine and tear a wedge between them. She wants Clementine to herself and genuinely believes that her way of life is the correct one, if it means ensuring Clem's survival. She hid AJ, which put his life in danger regardless (if he cried, he would've been attacked), so that she could set off the fight. To summarize it, Jane was just another traumatized, mentally ill character in this series. (I won't spoil it for you, but if you wish to look into the story if you choose Jane instead of Kenny, please look into it for more info).
In terms of timing, I think she acted then for two reasons: 1. impulse. 2. If she had waited, they would've gotten farther away from Howe's (Carver's camp); and that's where she wanted to go.
51:59 you literally chose to watch Kenny beat What’s his face to DEATH LOL

That's the thing about The Walking Dead, Jett. It is easily the most painful series of games you will ever play but if you finish all 4 seasons there is just something about the beautiful prospect of humanity that just hits you right in the feels. It is meant to be heartbreaking and tough and even horrible but it just makes all the funny and happy moments all the lighter. And if you do choose to go with Kenny then he dies in a car crash in season three😭 and I just found out that when you go with Jane (I’d never do this) then she kills herself? What? She just doesn’t seem like the kind of person to do that! But I guess it could be because she was pregnant I think and that it would be too hard on her to have a baby and take care of Clem, and also a little tiny but of respect to her for just h*nging herself instead of a gun because that could’ve alerted walkers to get Clem killed.

crazy how much darker the Original Season 2 story was going to be
- in the original script for Season 2 at the end of the game Clem is freezing to death and has a choice to either leave Aj and possibly live or stay with Aj and supposedly both Aj and Clem would end up freezing to death in the end, and The Final episode was also originally called "Better To Sleep" . They even had Kenny replace the role as Carver throughout the game.
After TWDG playthrough you should definitely check out the game Life Is Strange, it’s a beautiful game that you won’t regret playing. I really appreciate you much love Jett, keep doing you 🙌🏽
i agree!!!
I love lis1 and 2! That’d be awesome to see him play those.
You made the correct choice by deciding to stay at wellington.
And since you already looked it up, a little spoiler. This is a better farewell to Kenny than what's to come if you choose to stay with him.
in regards to the last scene, jane wanted clem to see kenny act all insane and angry so jane could take clem with her and leave kenny behind. jane just wanted another sister and would do anything to have that bond again
Wrong Kenny was clearly losing his mind. He was always doing dumb and stupid stuff even going back to season 1
@@kirbslife yeah im def not vouching for kenny he was pretty much insane especially after sarita. i shot kenny out of mercy in my original playthrough
that's why she wanted to get rid of the group or separate from them
@@cadenruiz4865 Kenny was "insane" yet in the end he was the one looking out for Clem and AJ. Kenny may have been rash but in the end he was a father. He was the one who was looking out for them. Jane is a selfish manipulative bitch who was willing to literally leave a baby in the freezing cold to gaslight Clem into off-ing Kenny, even though Kenny reacted the way any parent would.
Even if you do choose her, Jane kills herself and abandons them anyways.
Kenny is reckless but in the end he turns out to be the most trusting
true. He seemed to be the most unstable from everyone (and maybe he was, after everything he has lost) but in the end, no matter what ending he had, he was always doing everything he could for AJ and Clementine
Anyone else goin through withdraws rn
I've watched every episode more than 4 times....I think I'm good (🧢)
Here’s my theory for why the game and Arvo acts like you or Jane robbed him even if you didn’t - it’s just a theory, but I genuinely believe it’s true and solves a few plot holes:
He’s lying. He’s lying to his group, he’s lying for his sister. He’s a smart manipulative shit who uses the fact that he’s young and looks innocent to his advantage.
Why is he hiding medicine in the first place if he has a big group who can protect both him and his sister? Because likely the group is dangerous, maybe cult-like, like a Carver situation perhaps. I think Arvo’s plan was to hide the medicine for his sister or himself, then lie or make up a story on how he was robbed. Jane and Clementine being there was just a convenient person to pin it on. (If you do steal it, then he’s telling the truth, if you don’t then he still lies so he won’t get in trouble with his group to harshly for losing the supplies, because I think after you let him go if you don’t steal he finds another place to hide the meds.)
Maybe he was just going to blame it on the first group they run into while patrolling and waiting (because it was obviously a planned ambush of sorts)
My guess it was just lucky that they actually stumbled upon your group (if you stole) if you didn’t, then it’s just a convenient group to pin Arvo’s lies on.
Arvo literally hates you even if you’re nice to him throughout the entire game, and my guess is he secretly hates the whole group, even those nice to him, because why does he hate Clem for no reason? She’s a kid who’s nice to him and actively tries to help him.
Arvo is clearly the only one fluent enough in English to hold a conversation and translate, so it would be EASY to lie and manipulate the group into whichever group he finds and ambushes, which was our group. If he finds a group who is trying to de-escalate, then Arvo can lie and say they’re doing the opposite.
Overall I think Kenny was right to be suspicious, and that Arvo might’ve even been lying about the house with supplies and just got lucky, why is their base so far away and not at all lived in? Unless this was also Argo’s safe house or something, maybe he was steadily stealing or gathering supplies for him and his sister to run away from that group.
Sorry this is a confusing mess, I’m not good with words, but I hoped this cleared things up regarding why Arvo lies, it definitely can be just poor writing but whatever. Jane doesn’t steal anything if Clem says they shouldn’t steal, not sure why the game acts otherwise.
I love this series and really hope you continue, I know this ending was a bit baffling but I promise it gets WAY better.

1:43:20 Jane pulled that stunt to prove to Clem (as if she was born yesterday) that Kenny will fly off the handle if something happened to AJ, accidental or not. To insinuate that Clem might end up on the receiving end of his heat one day.
but she’s not a better choice either, considering what she does in the next season if you do stay with her. she’s also off the rocker like Kenny for putting a newborn’s life in danger to prove a stupid point. welp, she proved it at the expense of her life, I guess.
the best endings are Wellington or Clem & AJ on their own, imo
Imo I don't think Kenny was off his rocker at all. Matter of fact, I'd say he was the only one with any sense in this entire season besides Clementine. Kenny's anger at Jane was completely justified given the context, and you know he'd never harm Clem.

Listen if you really think about it I feel like that entire first group dying and Clementine being the only survivor is almost a callback and maybe, pure karma. Cause they were kicking up a storm of not wanting to help her and being scared of her turning and killing them all and being okay with her dying, then in the end they are the ones that end up dying, it’s like it almost gets reversed on them later on, and that you reap what you sow potentially. Especially since she literally saves them all numerous times!!! Compared to how they were willing and totally okay with letting her die and not wanting to help her. Idk I just think that’s a cool thought to think about.
Interesting fact: original episode name was better to sleep and instead of Kenny vs Jane it was Kenny vs luke but they died leaving clementine and aj and it leads to clementine dying.
It’s not just that. Clementine saw some kind of city in the distance but she was getting weaker and weaker from carrying AJ and couldn’t hold him anymore. The player either had the choice to leave AJ behind which would allow Clementine to reach safety or sit down with AJ which resulted in both of them freezing to death. Absolutely messed up stuff. But I really wish we could have gotten a released version of that script. The Walking Dead is dark to begin with, but this was “next level dark” and I kind of have a bit of a morbid curiosity towards it. I love anything that morally challenges the human question of “How far are you willing to go to survive?”
In this case, leaving AJ was the only way for Clementine to survive, but killing a baby is an action you never come back from. So yeah, better to sleep…
@@SilverGeFer the city she saw was from the old thumbnail that was in better to sleep i think
@@Skittlesalots Yeah. I think they reused the same background city model from the beginning of Season 1 Episode 1 for that episode preview frame.
But now that I remember, I don’t think it was a distant city she saw, I think it was simply a bright light in the distance which is when the player was given the choice to possibly reach it by leaving AJ or give up and die with AJ.
@@SilverGeFer I know TWD is dark, but that would’ve been straight up torture corn at that point
real dark ending
Jane was trying to prove a point to Clementine that how dangerous Kenny was, but her point was stupid. Like what reaction was she expecting from Kenny by thinking that she left the baby to die. I would've ended her too.
I mean, doesnt mean he was justified in murdering her..?
@@Evadann I get that (kinda) but still.
@@Evadann she instigated the fight
a baby that isn't even his? his reaction was NOT justified at all and jane "leaving a baby to die" in her situation was not that bad since they're all just trying to survive
yes kenny would choose to save the baby regardless of what happens to him but expecting her to do the same is really dumb
@@bft4864Kenny clearly cares about the baby regardless of whether it was his or not. of course Kenny can’t expect Jane to feel the same way but he’s clearly mentally unstable and Jane doing that pushed him over the edge. While Jane had a point about Kenny being dangerous, the way she executed the plan was awful by provoking a man who has already lost a lot. Neither of them were in the right. Like Kenny is clearly attached to AJ, no shit he would freak out if something bad happened to him, I’m not saying he was right but what was Jane expecting? Jane didn’t even care about AJ or Clem, she just saw Clem as a replacement for her sister and only wanted to prove a point that Kenny is unstable which like, yeah, no shit, literally everyone already knows that.

I feel like a addict, foaming at the mouth whenever Jettro posts 😭❤️
As soon as sarita dies they try to make the player hate Kenny for no reason when most of his anger is reasonable and that’s why most people find a lot of this season pointless at times
Some spoilers:
I think Jettro picked the best ending for Kenny’s story. I’m sure he would’ve HATED the way he died in Season 3 if he ended up leaving with Kenny. The way he just died from a car crash.
yeah but if you choose to go with Kenny, they live together for around 2-3 years and Kenny helps raise both Clem and AJ
Kenny being alive & the kids staying at Wellington while Kenny becomes a lone wolf… this is the best ending. Trust me. This is the best outcome you could’ve gotten. Congrats on finishing S2 🎉
It's for the best
The reason why kenny says "what? Lose your taste for this sorta thing ? Is because you chose to watch him taking Carver's f**king face off with a crowbar two episodes before.
Shut up
The reason why the end felt so random is because the game went through many different versions with having a lot things changed its why alot of characters seemed to just die randomly its because apparently there was a lot of cut content adding some more stuff for characters like Sarah and Pete and other character who seemed to just not do alot and if you look at the original S2 script S2 was supposed to be the
final season with Clem and Aj freezing to death in the snow but they changed it to the whole fight with Kenny and jane as they wanted to make another season and also was considered wayyy too sad and depressing of an ending, but I'm guessing they still used the same area where Clem was supposed to die which why it all seemed to happen really randomly. Im not 100% sure but it makes sense as Telltale at the time of making this were going through a lot of development issues and were having major layoffs and probably were just push for time to make the game.
Thank you for this comment cuz my jaw was on the floor with how ass this ending is and I was like "how the fuck was this greenlit, who approved this script?" So this game had development issues then? (Context: this is my first time seeing anything past S1) cuz this game was clearly setting up Kenny as a tragic final "bad guy" and then Jane does something so outta character and so fucking stupid it literally has made it so I don't even wanna watch S3 but I'll probably watch Jettro's playthrough cuz he's dope lol 🤣💀
@@skyez3038 Oh yeah dude. This game had some _serious_ development problems. Trying to get the season out too quickly, combined with some pretty substantial rewrites. There's a great video by a guy called "In Cold Blood" where he does a deep dive on all the changes and cut content.
I'll also say if you hated the writing here in Season 2, you're _likely_ to despise Season 3. Suffered from the same problems as Season 2, if not worse. TellTale was deep in crunch culture at the time, and they had a lot of projects on their plate. Everything they released around the time took a noticeable hit in quality.
