      Thank you for doing these videos; they are absolutely amazing. My two sons (ages 9 and 6) and I are knee deep in BotW right now, having defeated three of the divine beasts. We ran across your videos and the boys are absolutely mesmerized. In one of your videos you said you sell your art. Where do you sell that? We'd love to bid on something.

    Mini-Link is so precious! I feel like one of the great fairies, looking at him!
    On a side note, UA-cam, which every once in a while decides that I - despite almost exclusively watching English videos - do not infact speak any English, translated the video title to the equivalent of "The wild guardian's breathing"... thought it was kinda funny.

    Awesome build. I would mention though, as a mini painter, you did a good job. One thing that would make your painting more impactful would be to prime the model in flat black (spray or airbrush preferably) and then base coat with your main colors. If you really want to make it pop, try using a Zenithal highlight.

    I’d had the idea of using the EL wire in a shrine build, but you’ve definitely one upped that idea with this build! Awesome work!

    Honestly man you aren't a bad mini painter, I've only been doing it for like 8 months but your Link is miles better than my first Astartes were.

      Thanks! I'm getting a lot more comfortable now, as I've accepted that it's a necessary process and I may as well enjoy it. Also... thinning your paints makes things look a lot less gnarly. It helps being the sculpture as well, since I can plan around my preferred painting methods.

    What could add to the overall look is to use transparent silicone caulking to make a "splash" hit on links shield and coming from the eye... Does that make sense? :)

    • @NorthoftheBorder
      @NorthoftheBorder  3 роки тому +2

      Yes it does, and that's a dope idea. IT'S IN THE TODO NOTEBOOK FOR NEXT TIME!

      @@NorthoftheBorder can't wait for your next project with EL wire. About the silicone, a bonus is that it lights up pretty well to. If you use a small brush, you could also (ever so) lightly give the El wire streaks of silicone to give it some extra dimension.

    4:20 Hylian shield. The hero's shield was given to link by impa prior to majora's mask, and doesn't have the hyrulean crest.
