On a side note, UA-cam, which every once in a while decides that I - despite almost exclusively watching English videos - do not infact speak any English, translated the video title to the equivalent of "The wild guardian's breathing"... thought it was kinda funny.

Before that I did one that was like three tall rock formations, each with its own sort of biome, in a body of water with a giant koi fish swimming around between them. Next though I want to focus on learning how to sculpt, because that would give me a lot more freedom.
This is really awesome! I can really get the ancient feel of the Guardian, as well as the scaling of Link to the Guardian. The moss and the light-up laser really make this awesome!

Awesome build. I would mention though, as a mini painter, you did a good job. One thing that would make your painting more impactful would be to prime the model in flat black (spray or airbrush preferably) and then base coat with your main colors. If you really want to make it pop, try using a Zenithal highlight.
I love the new vids and you can see he's improved a lot talking on camera and got so much better at sculpting, but tbh I miss these a bit more serious kind of vids

Have you considered streaming these projects live on Twitch or something?
A few people have asked about streaming, but I don't know how compelling the process is in real time--it's many, many hours of little work that comes together for the final project.

This is so cool. I recently started replaying Breath of The Wild and bought the DLC, and even two years after I first played Breath of The Wild those first few piano notes once a guardian locks on to you still gets me to this day. It’s just an insane moment of panic where you’re looking for where the guardian is coming from, haha. Keep up the good work.

You can put wire… in the handle of an x-acto. I’ve been using those blades for most things in my life for probably over a decade and I never even considered this. You have changed my world.
This is so freaking cool!! Very satisfying to watch your process. Though, to add a bit more of that gamey feel, I'd say to add that splash when the beam hits the shield. That and maybe have Link at a stance where he's knocking the beam back, but with the beam still attached to the shield. Add the splash and you're golden! ;)
If I had a good way to turn the beam, I would've loved to make the beam 'bouncing' off his shield. If I did it again, I'd use some separate LEDs to make sort of split the beam so I could have it deflecting away, i think!
I don't think you know how much I love Zelda breath of the Wild, like I've had all of my birthday themes breath of the Wild no joke I love that game so much and to see that you're making the game into a tiny version makes me really really excited.😊

Thanks! I'm getting a lot more comfortable now, as I've accepted that it's a necessary process and I may as well enjoy it. Also... thinning your paints makes things look a lot less gnarly. It helps being the sculpture as well, since I can plan around my preferred painting methods.
What could add to the overall look is to use transparent silicone caulking to make a "splash" hit on links shield and coming from the eye... Does that make sense? :)
@@NorthoftheBorder can't wait for your next project with EL wire. About the silicone, a bonus is that it lights up pretty well to. If you use a small brush, you could also (ever so) lightly give the El wire streaks of silicone to give it some extra dimension.

The “belt” around Link’s shoulder is to hold the scabbard. The protective shape that goes around the blade of the sword.
