I just picked these headphones up yesterday man all I can say is that these are the best gaming headphones on the market and I feel like you can use these also for movies and music. No RBG and gimmicks, just great audio quality and mic. These are comfortable from the moment I put them on. I just wish the base.

Flip to mute is nice because it’s easy to figure out why the boys can’t hear you
Regarding sound quality, I also have a pair of audio technica ath-m50x’s. I spent around two hours going back and forth between the two listening to different genres of music. The m50’s sound better with some genres and sound a bit smoother over all but the 600’s sounded a little clearer and were preferable with other genres. They were definitely trading blows music wise which should give you a feel for what the 600s are like sound wise. Id give it a tie/maybe slight edge to the m50. For a gaming headset, this is quite impressive as the m50’s are, imo, EASILY the best sounding headset in that price range. The mic quality is also very clean but it picks up everything! My friends were saying my voice sounded much clearer (compared to logitech g pros).
Build quality is amazing, and they are very attractive looking in person.
Gaming audio is where the 600s really come into their own. Gun shots, explosions, voices, etc are incredible.
Comfort could be better. They are snug and very very isolating so you’re ears get very warm. The materials feel great and are soft, its just the 600s are “tightly” made. Everything is snug, no wiggling, razer thin tolerances, just solid feeling as all hell.
Granted I haven’t owned every gaming headset, ive just owned a couple logitechs and then this, but if i had to buy ONE headset for gaming and music, itd be this with an amp. It really checks all the boxes as long as you don’t mind being wired. Sound quality is better than any other gaming set, mic is better than all the other gaming headset mics, build quality is superb, great warranty, great materials, comfortable if you adjust it right so long as you don’t have a weird shaped head.
But if you already have something like the m50s (which sound as good/a bit better, are more comfortable, cost a bit less), or the 6xx’s with an amp, just get a seperate mic like a mod mic.

my only gripe so far is my faceplace jacks are not connected (too short cables) but i use USB anyway so i do not mind spending like a fiver to a tenner for an adapter (i like quality pay once and... pay once)
EDIT: i forgot to mention my ears do NOT sweat even when my hear is down (i have very thick and silky hair and in hotter temps it is incindiaty regardless of "config")

What is the absolute best gaming headset for CS-go?
I currently have the hyper x cloud alpha and love them for CS-go. Only problem is that people hear me shooting when I’m on discord. It’s a common issue.
I just bought my online buddy a Corsair hs50 because his headset is absolute dog shit. Now, I want to upgrade. Price is no issue. Just looking for absolute best for CS-go.

Thanks! And thank you for pointing that out. I think it’s a natural thing I do when I talk but now that I’ve seen myself doing it I can’t unsee it! I’ll try to focus more directly into the camera in the future. And I actually have the script on the desk in front of me and memorize 2 or 3 sentences at a time so I can look directly into the camera when I’m speaking.

Great review TF. Really like the way you do your reviews [one or two +'s, one or two -"s]. Really like that way of presenting because that way the viewer doesn't get pulled or swayed toward, say....too many bad things, or too many good things about the product. I feel this way one can form a more rounded opinion of whether or not they will like the product . . Does that make sense?

I ordered the Sennheiser GSP 600'S with GSX 1200 Pro to get that amazing sounds, or so i thought, i actually went back and returned the GSP 600''S in favor of HyperX Cloud Alpha and the GSX 1200 Pro.
Both of the last mentioned sounds a lot better then the GSP 600'S. ( My opinion)
The bass is even better on the HyperX.
yep, in fact i went from the hyper X revolver and i bought the GSP 500 but soundstage is very lower ( volume and bass ) than the hyper X , and also i have a audio card with headphone amp wich normally should do help ( asus xonar phoebus ). i tried different setting but don't change more, and when i tried to boost up the impedence with amp ( gain +6 db ) the sound became crackly ,
thing that the hyper X didn't do. so for that i was very disappointed and i just went back to my old headphone.
PLEASE HELP!! Will my astro mix amp work well with the gsp 600.. i really dont wanna buy the senheiser amp since i have a astro one already(PS4)
LaidBack Reviews yes it will !! It works just fine the senheizer amp is more so if your a computer gamer . Console gamers are just fine with the Astro mix amp which is like the best amp on the market for console gamers

The GSP600's are dog shit, if you game and talk a lot you can't hear yourself talk and you end up shouting, should you then decide to enable your voice to playback through your headset you will also invoke the key board key sounds and mouse clicks, everyone on your team will hear your keyboard and mouse and any other sound in the room!, secondly the GSP600's are fucking heavy and hot as they aren't open backs... yes the sound is great however with the GSX1000 or GSX1200 amp with the sennheiser pc37x headphones are far superior! don't waste your money on these.
Garbage headset. I have the PC360 from 2013 and it owns the GSP 600. I'm returning the garbage headset and will continue using my PC360. Please don't waste your money on the GSP 600, seriously.

@@shelle3944 The sound is very weak. My PC360 headset from them that I purchased in 2013 sounds so much better. The GSP 600 has no bass and is very flat. I'm very disappointed with that headset.
