Ive notice on my 2015 sportsman 1000xp... the bolts that go through the bushing become loose. Bushings seemed worn out... tightened the bolts and bushings feel like new. Check your bolts before spending money
Hi Ernie - the bushing were defiantly worn out allowing the A-Arm to slop around. I even measured the wear. Its a common Polaris thing unfortunately. Over-tightening the bolts will be temporary and will damage the A-Arm mountings. Even if the bolts were hand tight the A-Arm should not have lateral play in it. I'd say if you have over 1000 miles (1600kms) on the sportsman the bushings are worn out. I greased my machine after every ride and still had them wear out. Let me know what you find.
1600km's (1000 miles), after every ride it was greased with polaris grease and mainly trail riding and hunting trips. Pretty crazy I think. Do you have a similar experience?

What brand bushings did you replace with? Thanks!
How many miles? Did you grease it regularly? Do you ride in a lot of mud/grit?

I have the same machine. Will watch out for that now. Thanks for the heads up.
Mine too. Turns out the bolts come loose on the sportsman xp.
How did u pull the a arms off having a pain getting mine off front comes out but back just spins
They should just pull out - they are held in-place by the long bolt - once that's removed the arm, including the bushing should come out.
@@TheEmporiumOutdoors Your bolt is seized to the sleeve. With no way to hold the sleeve you have to cut bolt and sleeve and replace. Pain
I used the OEM bushings and sleeves - but I understand that there are better alternatives. Time will tell :)
