Jake, in one of your other videos you passed the print/painting section and commented that your not that familiar with art. Most people aren't, including myself. But an easy and fast way to thrift art is to look at the back. Most framing and matting is expensive, I look for a professional framer seal and a COA for the art. I just look for those two things and then comp them, not always fun to ship though. What are you looking for in remotes when sourcing?

Keep in mind the vendors are paying more to rent spaces. And goodwills savers stores prices are higher too.
You know for all the negotiation tactics that exist I do agree that just encouraging them talk and talk is the most effective way in most cases. They end up doing all the work for you.
