Well if you are stalker that seems reasonable. They need to make sure you aren’t going to do it again. If this dude just got a six month sentence and then got out and started stalking emi again the mental hospital stay hasn’t had the intended effect.

Usually being institutionalized is worse than going to jail, depending on the possible crime (and severity) that led to it. Either way, people like that should be kept away from the rest of society. I hope it really is worse.

Everyone is someone's child, sibling, friend, everything. Nobody is nothing. If they can get help and rehabilitate, then that's a good thing.
