British laws in a country in the southern Hemispere...
How many more countries do the British rule??
Do the right thing and listen to the maori.... on their land how hard is it to do...
Can maori people turn up to England or any countries England rules and expect to be treated fairly or equally? Māori people also pay tax, land rates etc... in England there's a house of lords for the land lords... and the house of commons for everyone else......
So should maori do the same in Aotearoa?? Be the land lords of their own lands and charge everyone else???
How equal do you think they are compared to the settlers all around the world...including here in Aotearoa.

Eru peddling that narrative of the well behave Maori pre 1840. Hongi Hika was a real gentleman lol. Love it how Eru likes to tell us he is a relative.

Pakeha gave ngāpuhi muskets to use against past foes which ignited Māori Wars. Tattooed heads was one of many things pakeha wanted in exchange of muskets, so more heads more guns. They were doing what pakeha wanted and to kill themselves off to weaken the numbers. Period, and ngā puhi were trying to get other iwi to join to create one big Māori powerhouse.
