Hi there, I am so happy I found your channel. Just watched your COS one and this one. I have some Nanushka 'vegan' leather trousers and yes, they are very soft. But in general I think 'vegan' mostly means plastic and this I find very sweaty (also true of leather trousers with polyester lining). My best pair of leather trousers is a black wide legged cropped pair from a few years ago, from Remain Birger Christensen. Excellent quality, and you are absolutely right that leather trousers are so easy to style. I have donated some faux leather trousers (skinny style) from Zara because they just made me too sweaty, but I still love my H&M leather (not faux) skinny/legging trousers from two years ago. Looking forward to more on your channel xo :)

Hmmm, well, my Remain Birger Christensen trousers have not really done that, but they are wide leg and a bit cropped so they don’t get so pulled out of shape in the first place, if that makes sense. My leather skinny trousers from H&M Premium have done that a bit but so far (one year and a half although I barely wore them in 2020) still looking good. Also have some kick flare leather ones from & Other Stories that are shaping more in the knee, those are a slimmer cut in the thighs. I sort of assume that what one gets (or should get) with those super-high-priced leather leggings is the leather is bonded to a stretchy material on the inside (“stretch leather”) but would be interested if anyone can speak from experience about those.

I' quite confused about what could be my size. I don't have any experience with leather pants.
It's not safer to choose a L size? Maybe M could be too narrow? The pants will stretch that much? I have a preference for loose, comfortable clothes so I don't usually wear pants too tight. Exact Measures for the pants change depending on the store ...

Your remark about versatility certainly made me laugh.
My girlfriends fake leather jeans only lasted for an evening after she wore them at a party and when the ember from her cigarette dropped on them, she automatically assumed that like real leather she could casually rub it out. It was so funny seeing the hole in them and she felt like such an idiot for not realising that they would melt.
Although not many people use their pants as an ashtray, several of her friends mentioned afterwards, how their synthetic pants had been wrecked by embere at a barbecue or bonfire party.
We all just take the tough properties of real leather for granted. 😃😃🔥

Real leather is fairly comfortable, except in very hot weather. Fake leather feels like wearing a plastic raincoat in a thunderstorm. 😃
