  • This railway film shows the return of steam on the two rival Roads To The Isles, brilliantly documented by producer Nick Lera. The remote Kyle of Localsh line saw steams return in 1982, while two years later it was the turn of the West Highland line’s famous route from Fort William to Mallaig, which of course includes the great curved viaduct at Glenfinnan.
