- Produced by Nick Lera this railway film starts on the Firth of Forth with rare film footage from 1900, the 1950s and 1985 taken from within the girders of the famous Bridge, with many classic steam locos including an A4 Pacific. North British 0-6-0 ‘Maude’ is featured at Haymarket’s 1985 Open Day beside a Deltic diesel, after which we are treated to unique views of steam passing Arthur’s Seat and Morningside. More rare archive from the 1950s shows steam at Dingwall, Culrain, Invershin and Wick, Britain’s northernmost station.
Thanks - most enjoyable.

"The cinematograph had not been invented yet," followed by a very early paper print. Very nice piece of history.
