@@AG-ce2bd padding is to protect your knuckles, hand and reduce bleeding and cuts. I'm telling you that the heavier your gloves the more impact your punch will have that's why brain injury has gone up in boxing since it went from bare knuckle

The lower the Oz of the gloves the harder the punch will feel. You use higher Oz when sparring like 14 or 16 cuz it has more padding and your punching will be slower and less powerful
