To be fair, you have a lot more time to play. The average person does not have the type of time to put together the not a dollar teams you put together. The time cost to get a good team together is too high for the average player. I'm not complaining for me because i spend money. But when the player base quickly dwindles when a good chunk of them get discouraged by the time costs, they should realize they should not balance the game based on what the career guys can do with the game. Great vids as always though.
I got Larkin out of my starter pack. Accidentally ended up trading him in when I did the 50 gold player xf pack. But it worked out bc Larkin isn’t a player I like in real life, haven’t used him enough in HUT to like him, and not someone I’m personally interested in. So essentially we traded Larkin in for Crosby. Huge W! Crosby was my childhood favourite hockey player.
Defense is brutal. Can you put up a tutorial how to use hits correctly? I understand the control but just feels delayed. I agree with your previous comment about the flashing light in the faceoff. It is annoying.

Agreed. I packed Pasta...thought I could flip it for decent amount coins. It's capped at 35k. I think having cards capped is a good move, but how low is just unfair.

If you play a couple hours a week, expect to be going up against teams far superior to yours every single game and constantly losing because of it. At MINIMUM you would need to dedicate 10+ hours per week with no money spent to field a team good enough to compete throughout the year unless you are somehow a gaming prodigy and are considered top 5% in every game you play.

At the end of HUT 23 others had cards +99 ovr and my best was 92 ovr still I had over 60% winrate. If I think those cards only matter when playing about TOP100, but there are very few ppl who can really get in there even with grinding every day and having the best team in the hut.
Talk about how skill stick is useless now. There’s no control of the puck to backhand/forehand and wristers. Defense is delayed and you can barely check unless you hit the angle perfectly. Btw thank you the icon challenges are ridiculously hard to score.

Not sure if that broken or intentional but it sucl for anyone who enjoys the hitting part of hockey.

The new skill stick sucks. although I can’t criticize EAs intension for making the game feel more authentic they need to think about the time consuming aspect on offline modes. Removing protect the puck should have been only for online mode. People don’t have the mental focus to set up players to score 6 times and retrying and spending hours when this isn’t their life job. I do not give a crap scoring lacrosse goals. Bring back the x button and allow the free tho play base play what we are used too. Why Score 100 goals top right, bottom left corner as if ea give us a bunch of glitch shots. Not

Ive played with ncaa d1 players, tier 2 and 1 players, former pros, everything, and have never seen anything like the way these ai move

I don’t play hut but this game is fucking horrible in world of chel. We played two club games and our compy goalie let in 17 goals and we were a good team defensively on 23. Shots from the side of the net were going on, basically from anywhere. Too many cross checking or interference penalties just from trying to shoot loose pucks. Horrible arcade game so far. I actually had high hopes for this one

move the stick back and forward to make a hit. You have to time it as well or you will get beat everytime.

I got Hasek. He's actually pretty good. Last time I had Hasek in HUT he would let in 6 goals on 10 shots so I had to quit HUT that year.

Without a doubt - I was really excited for them and the ridiculous requirements completely ruined it.

Honestly a couple hours a week, play rivals youll get a bunch of packs and if you do it regularly its fairly easy to keep up.

You can do one at a time... once you've completed one, it's done for good.
