I think the way you did pack openings a couple of weeks ago was perfect: largely fast forwarding but pausing on stuff that's notable and/or dramatic. It's informative to know the things that you are excited about.
I agree here, i'd much prefer just to see highlights than get baited for 15 mins every episode

I personally love the pack opening videos. I even prefer it to not be sped up because I enjoy seeing your reactions and anticipation of pulling some elite cards. Its nice to see what other people are pulling, as I'm also no money spent, so I dont get to open too many packs myself.
Funny story was trying to make Teravainen and was going down to the wire and was scrambling to complete it the sets and ran out of time. So I had 36 Fantasy collectibles and made the Ultimate packs and NHL player packs. Managed to pull back to back purples first being Hilary Knight and second being the new 88 Gretzky. Stoked to say the least.

it feels like every other creator only shows pack opening now and it's frankly just lazy content. You are my favorite creator because you are actually entertaining and show the game.

I like the pack openings, but I also appreciate the fact that you don't sugarcoat that they're 90% trash. Just showing the packs that pull something worthwhile and commenting on what how many were decent is plenty. I don't really care to see the fast forwarding to know there's set fodder.
I did pull an xfactor Mcdavid with my rivals rewards this week… and I came pretty close to exploding in my pants with shock 😅

i do think there’s a difference b/w sleeves who doesn’t pay for the packs…pretty sure other youtubers not doing NMS spend money on the packs. i think a lot of us are old enough to realize just because people on youtube get a good pull doesn’t mean we will pull something
I pulled Teravainen from a SB rewards pack yesterday. Not sure yet if I want to keep him or not.

Just show the good pulls for the pack, do gameplay more, show us scrubs how to play. You say the 3 goals for the Halloween card was super easy, I did it on the second try but I felt like I got lucky doing it, in SS squad battles it's pretty tough to score, even more so when you have to get it to one player. I know you have that quick video of the forehand backhand goals, but did you do it in one period? When I'm playing SS SB the computer defense just has to go near me to take the puck away or knock me off it, and it's not like I've got a weak team. I'd love to see you do one video of you playing a full squad battles game on SS so I can see what I'm screwing up, lol. I know you hate squad battles but some of us are freaks and enjoy it.
Being an old fart (I’m 38) I don’t mind pack openings, but I hate the fake excitement and the 😱 thumbnails that some other content creators do.
I think showing pack openings in a series like this makes total sense though. But people need to act like they’ve pulled a good card before.
Like if you’re 15 I get jt, but watching someone in their late 20’s- 30’s lose their minds is kinda laughable.

Personnaly I love seeing pack luck! Especialy when It happens often and, well to me! Hahahha... listen I play about 5 games a week and try to build a lienup in hut so anyways I tought I would buy the cheapest edition and some 1150 ea points to buy a fantasy "10 players with higher chances" if that's how It's caled in english? And guess what happened? One single pack I swear; Oliver Bonk Fantasy + McDavid base card!!! Yup! Pack luck... so as I said I play about 5 games a week and get Idk... Pro3 to Pro1 once in a while lol... elite too but not so far yet... I need to play a good streak of games soon instead of hustling the moments... anyways so with the silver collectors I took a mega pack this week and with the elite pack I got as a reward; I pulled Erik Karlson in the elite pack and then with the mega pack I got McKinnon base card and Steh Jones X factor!!! Yo!!!! I'm on big luck streak so far this year hahahahaha
This was a fire pack openening def gotta show it slow hut I hate watching a super long pack opening and they don't even pull anything. Id say fast forward the whole thing unless if you get something nasty id stretch that out

Does it matter in what order you do HC And rivals? I usually do HC First, Lately i noticed im getting the 50 games in rivals really quick.. not sure if im just playing more then i realize, Or do the 20 games in hut champs come out of the 50 games in rivals as in id only be able to do 30 rivals and 20 champs if i do my champs first? Maybe i should start doing it 50 rivals then 20 HC?
