  • Welcome to Texas. Specifically, to Keegan Allen’s Texas decorating project. A unique, architectural farmhouse to hang your hat - cowboy hat, naturally - and relax.
When the opportunity arose to redecorate a Texas farmhouse, he was more than up for the challenge and knew exactly what he wanted to create: a calming, grounding retreat. He just needed one thing to bring his vision to life, an expert in colour, light and finishes. Luckily, our expert Colour Consultant was ready and waiting to lend a helping hand - this wasn’t their first rodeo, after all.
Featuring Olive, Lime White and Salon Drab, the colour palette offers a subtle nod to the shades in the garden outside and creates the perfect retreat away from the busy city life.
Take a tour of the transformed space or visit www.fal.cn/TexasHideaway to find out how colour consultancy helped bring each room to life.

Masculine and Moody. I love this. I have a 31 yo son and the colors and/ furniture are a mixture of hard (leather and olive) and soft(lime white and brown). Farrow & Ball color consultant appears to have perfectly matched his aesthetic.

Love it! Classic and comfortable. Love the green room and touches of green throughout the house. Bold move with the black floors and doors. Understated, yet sublime!

Where Farrow and Ball shines is that it covers up ugly features so they disappear like Keenan’s air vent here. I did the same thing with my last home and Farrow and Ball paint lasted 10 years. The one tip I would give to buyers is to bring a photo to the store which way the light faces as this will assist in the selection process.

NO WAY it's not bright and sunny in Texas, this looks like it's filmed in the UK fog! Please turn off the camera filters so we can see the true colours!!

Whoever did the post on this applied a desatured teal/shadow color lookup table in the grade. It prevents us from seeing your colors portrayed realistically. Don't let them do that again!

Pretty asthenic. The details in delivering the right mood by finding the correct paint color to deliver the vibe wanted is brilliant.

So far all the walls are some form of white, except one green room, which is he’s favorite 🤷‍♀️

And we cant even see them because theres such a heavy filter on. Also its really not much of a challenge when its an entirely new designed house on a big budget

Just a little aside. There was no budget to design, I worked with their color consultant to create a palette. It’s hard to capture on film, but it’s INSANE in person.

@@keeoone87 wdym the entire interior is expensive and conceptualized. Whether they sponsored the colour consultancy or not lol

Love the colours but the saturation editing of the video has really warped what I imagine it looks like in real life

Nice, peaceful and earthy, but in the music room, I would put the leather club chair in front of a solid wall rather than backing into the void of the entrance....it would feel more protected and cosy....

I have no idea who this guy is…I assume he is or was on some CW show…but I respected him once he pulled out MR’s Gunfighter Ballads 😂

@@keeoone87You get it. Some people don’t and it doesn’t matter: they won’t be hiring a color consultant anytime soon, if ever.
