204 E Coast Rd, Singapore 428903
8am-4pm (Closed Mondays)
Revamped into a super comfortable place to chill and have a late brunch!
Tip: Come off-peak hours like 1+pm and you'll be sure to get an indoor seat. There are sooo many fans around to help beat the sweltering heat in Singapore.
Food is kept traditional and authentic - most importantly, affordable!
Definitely get the signature Kaya Toast Set with an iced drink.
It's a very different version compared to Yakun Kaya Toast but still very old-timey and homely!
Worth a visit if you are in the East Coast area :)
Keep going ❤
Thanks for sharing Lav. I am a Yakun kaya toast fan but I will definitely give this a try, for the nostalgia ambience. Ps I love to bathe my kaya toast in soft boil egg mixture, just like the way you did. 👍🏻
We hope you enjoy the experience like we did! 💜
I don't understand the lump in kaya 😅 Its just cos they are homemade and they didnt bother to cook it over a careful fire to a silky smooth texture like how most kaya are
yes I personally prefer it smooth too!
@@LiveWithLav haha its still acceptable to me as long as they are not overly sweet. But Yakun is overrated though. Just cos they sous vide their eggs, they charge premium price 😅😂
@@thetravelbaker very true.. it’s gotten too pricey
