I cannot even begin to describe how loathsome sarcastic reviews are; lazy garbage 😂
I’m very disappointed by the ableism in this video, with you mocking disabled people
@@rosemulet Another oopsie to the list?
Adum enjoying an animated Adam Sandler musical is almost a parody of reality itself.
It’s like a Charlie Kaufman novel.
If you can see past the deers eating shit off of an old man, Eight Crazy Nights is a musical masterpiece.

its actually a decent movie tho
It feels like more of a parody than the actual review parody
Props to Adum for making his description of the FNAF movie feel almost as long and tortuous as sitting in the theather for two hours.

That really did encapsulate the experience of listening to a 12 year old ramble about FNAF perfectly.
I appreciate Adum's attention to detail by getting his frontal lobe removed before making the FNAF section's voiceover.
Adam’s just upset they never added a horse animatronic to FNAF.
I think Adam might've not liked the FNAF movie
No but he said it should get oscars and it's scawy
What da heck. I’ve been tricked :0
WOW! DUDE, FREDDY FAZBEAR!
really? couldn't tell.
woah no way
I think it's fitting that the entire fnaf review was satire because I think pretty much anything adam had to say about the fnaf movie he already said about the mario movie
After watching his Exorcist Believer review and how unenthusiastic he was with it, I knew his FNAF review was gonna be pure gold. And I was not disappointed 😂😂😂
I think the baby talk really sells it too.
Right??? I thought the same thing...
He really has a hate boner for any kids oriented movie made solely for entertainment.
@@thenewguyinred Did you not watch the Leo portion of this review, or either of his Spider-Verse reviews, or know that one of his favorite movies is the original Lion King? Even if he doesn’t give it a 10/10 he’ll still admit whether or not he got some enjoyment out of it. A 5 or 6 out of 10 is a relatively generous score from Adam because it means he at the very least had a decent time and enjoyment from watching the movie. It’s all a matter of taste, and no, there’s no such thing as a good or bad taste.
@@Butwhythough881I didn’t say he doesn’t like kids movies in general, he just doesn’t like kids movies made solely for entertainment and reference pandering for fans.
Adam is trying to expand his audience to younger age groups, that's why he's reviewing two baby movies at once

The thing that threw me off in the FNAF movie was when Vanessa was making hanging out with the animatronics fun for Abby, then got mad at Mike when she got hurt. Like why didn't she even ask Mike why he brought her with and escort her immediately? She knew it was a risk, yet got mad at Mike
It makes the scene where she tells Mike "I'LL SHOOT YOU" that much more hilarious. Like bitch? You're the one who encouraged this. Now suddenly it's Mike's fault that playing with clearly dangerous things is dangerous.

Don't feel bad. We been there.
After 10 years of being subscribed Adam finally made a review that I agree with. FNAF movie should win the awards like nobel prize
Fun Fact: In Five Nights at Freddy's, because of Foxy's skeletal-like structure, he was built as a full-body animatronic puppet and performed by Russ Walko, along with a group of puppeteers from Jim Henson's Creature Shop. In shots where Foxy walked, it took as many as six puppeteers to accomplish his full range of movements.

Those first nine minutes were the longest nine minutes ive ever sat through
This truly was the review of all time. The movie was watched, the action happened, the emotions were displayed.
I'm happy to see that Adum managed to get the talent of veteran health news anchor, Steve Brule. Those ad reads are already paying off!
I hope Adum recovers from his serious head wound.
20:53 This got me so off guard I almost died laughing. Thank you Leo I needed that.
That was legit the best 😂
THAT SCENE CANNOT BE REAL, I REFUSE TO BELIEVE IT
BRO EVEN THE TURTLE HAS IT I CAN'T
I've seen the movie twice now and I can confirm that it is indeed real.
I still can't tell if this was either the most clever joke in the entire movie, or an absolutely unintentionally funny emotional moment.
I LAUGHED WAY TOO HARD AT THIS PART TOO
I watched this after taking painkillers and thought i was just tripping balls for half the review.
they should have been brave and let Leo have those glassy, bottomless black eyes of a real Tuatara.
I'm surprised you enjoyed leo honestly. I agree though it's a refreshing and fun film. Even if not everything works i can feel the sincerity of the project which is more than what i can say for a lot of movies
Channelling John C. Reilly for the FNAF review was nice. Someone's got to. Also the Tuatara (said 'Two-a Ta-ra') is an underwhelming creature that only lives in New Zealand. However its been around LONGER than the dinosaurs, which is curious.
I'm hoping it was just a typo, because calling the Tuatara underwhelming is some disrespect I just cannot tolerate. They lived before Dinosaurs and they have a "third eye", how can you be underwhelmed by that? I think you owe all Tuataras an apology :(
MMMM excuse me Tuatara hasn't been around from before dinosauria but rather Rhynchocephalia 🤓
Look ok, New Zealand has like 100 native animals and 99 of them are birds. We enjoy that we got a little variety in this birdfest. So don't diss the Tuatara.
"the first 9 minutes are torture" and then the first 9 minutes of the video are also torture
great bit
I think that adum reviewing FNAF with a massive concussion is a brave statement criticizing the danger of American Football injuries.
Your oscar would be the FNAF award

Aww I wish he'd talk about the animatronics more. Yeah the movie is garnage but jim henson's creature shop did a PHENOMENAL job with creating the animatronics
The Josh Hutchenson animatronic was fantastic
4 minutes in and I’m starting to think Adum doesn’t actually love this movie
No he said he like it
I love how many ways Adum found to pronounce Josh Hushersasums
I have the flu, so this video played very well into the fever dreams I was passing in and out of. Great job Adum, 10/10, best review of the all time.
"it's great that he's driving diagonally!" - That's where I lost it! 🤣
My brother put up Leo for my nephew and I had the exact same reaction, the "Oh god" through the intro, but as soon as that was done, I felt more interested in the movie than my nephew was. I can't remember the last time something targeted at children not only managed to hold my attention but also managed to keep good takes and messages towards their main target. Hopefully we get more of THIS going foward, the recent progressive soullessness of the entire industry had me completely disregarding the mainstream releases.

I'm not a _FNAF_ fan, really. But part of me kinda loves the _FNAF_ movie, even though it's a complete and utter mess and is super cartoonish. I think part of it is because it almost feels like lot of the shows I grew up on like the original 90's _Goosebumps_ or _Are You Afraid of the Dark?_ To me, it had that same corny energy. I'd never earnestly defend _FNAF_ the movie... but I can't say I didn't have fun watching it.
Same
I much prefer the unofficial FNAF movie called "Willy's Wonderland" with Nicolas Cage. It was undeniably silly but also magical in the best way possible.
@@kuzcosmkswed117 That too, but Nicolas Cage makes the other one just so much more enjoyable.
Fan flims were better than the official movie. Willy passed a very low bar.
@@kuzcosmkswed117 ok no that movie sucked ass, Willy's Wonderland was good, that one was just an absolute stinker
@@pennplayz they're all stinkers
It was not
The FNAF movie is really weird because it's very similar to the Mario movie in a lot of ironic ways. There's too much "fanbase" content and not much in terms of newcomer stuff, so if you aren't already familiar with it then you won't know wtf the point of half of...well everything is. It exists mostly to streamline a nearly incomprehensible mess of a story into a much more cohesive one, which it does pretty well, but it does this at the expense of not being even remotely scary as a horror movie.
The first Silver Eyes novel to me did a way better job at streamlining the lore of the first 3 games than what the movie was trying to do.
even as a fan i don't really think the movie that good mainly because i don't think it adapts its source material very well
Well I watched the mario movie and while it wasn't good, I had fun. The FNAF movie actually hurt me to watch. It's pretty rare that I regret watching a movie. But FNAF was one of those instances.
I didn't care for the Mario movie but if I bashed my head against the wall I could at least kinda sorta enjoy Mario understanding that it's your usual "Journey into another world/save someone you love" story even if I don't get all the fanservice.
On the other hand even in a hypothetical brain damage state I think FNAF would just bore and confuse me instead of being either a scary movie or a good movie in any way. I guess it's cool they used practical effects but they still look so CGI because they imitate the texture of low budget 3D games so it's almost a pointless effort.
@@DeepEye1994 “It’s almost a pointless effort,” would you want another ugly Sonic or X-men Origins Deadpool incident?
Adam really explains fnaf like an insufferable nerd explaining their favorite fantasy series or any media for that matter, but slow motion so that's 10x worse. Thank you! Adam, very "based" as people would say it.
One thing that stood out to me in Leo was that the shots were just...steady? A lot of kids CGI is far too fast-paced, zany, ADHD-inducing etc. My wife was playing Leo for the kids one time and I was watching it in passing. I actually thought it was a bargain bin movie because it would just hold the shot still for more than 2 fucking seconds. I appreciated that.
20:53 I'm so happy Adum included this scene, I remember the first time I saw it I was like howling laughing like a maniac.
Adum really did lobotomized himself for the fnaf review.

You’re right, he was pretty unfunny here. It’s even worse when you hear what he actually thinks on his streams with the whole CGI thing being the worst offender alongside just being disrespectful to the fanbase and the franchise in general (I don’t think FNAF is a masterpiece, but goddamn does he have a hate boner and it’s not even funny).
"You're using bites from the 97 movie" was a great callback, I laughed.

@@JewishFrogthe latest one, obviously
What accident??? I obviously missed something. What happened to him?
@@truthseeker9249the accident is that he watched the FNAF movie
The first minutes of Leo being bad might not be an accident. The beginning is something that gets worked over the most in writing because it needs to accomplish a lot of legwork bringing people in and setting up characters, so that might just be the part of the movie that producers and writers kept going over and over until they shut up.
Very brave of Adum to review a movie while blackout drunk by having his boyfriend hold the mic up to his mouth as he stares at the ceiling and hallucinates FNAF lore.

Very good Fnaf review, i could actually understand you for once, it really is the best movie ever. If you said movie was bad, i be sooo mad.
I just wish he gave actual constructive criticism.
@@TiredMoonRabbit Does it really matter? He obviously wasn't interested in watching the movie, and that's probably why he said it like that.
@@weaponizedautism9889 yet he still chose to watch the movie and continued acting like a jerk to the community, if he has the brain power to be a dick then he can give the movie a proper review with proper criticism that isn't "the fans are all annoying children who rightfully pointed out that I was wrong about the animatronics being all cgi". If it was a franchise you were into and it got a lackluster movie adaptation would you rather he make an actual critical review or do what he did here? You know the answer.
@@TiredMoonRabbit Dude, it's really not that serious. It was a dumb movie anyway. It's really doesn't matter at the end of the day.
@@weaponizedautism9889 I'm allowed to be disappointed in how he has handled this, just because you don't care doesn't mean I have to not care.
This is the real YMS, all the other videos were a joke.
I appreciate Adam’s mocking of how annoying people are abt movies like the FNAF and Mario movies. Like I realize for the longest time negativity was too prominent in movie discussions where it kinda was like if you liked a movie that wasn’t a masterpiece you were a bad or stupid person, but now the pendulum has swung in the opposite direction where you can’t just enjoy a movie that’s dumb fun, you have to think it’s a masterpiece or you’re an evil killjoy, like people forget you are allowed to enjoy fine, mediocre, and bad movies while still being able to admit they’re not the best and respect that others might not like or be satisfied with them. Idk the critic backlash is so lame, like if you disagree with a movie critic you don’t gotta watch them
This is so true because I enjoy the 90's Super Mario Bros movie and Batman & Robin and yet I agree that both of those movies are bad from an objective film standpoint. I just happen to enjoy them.
1. Movie discussion is still like that nothing has changed 2. YMS is participating in both sides of this behavior, he said something that wasn't true then insulated the fnaf that corrected him even though they were doing it passively, then he decided to be completely rude say that the fans where mad at him for saying the movie would be bad when in reality people were annoyed that he was being a jerk and having a very obvious bias against the franchise. As a fnaf fan the community knows that the movie isn't amazing, we still appreciate it and want the sequels to be better.
This is exactly how I’d expect Adam to review FNAF. 10/10 review. I’m glad you’ve seen your first movie now.
"I'm gonna die. Synecdoche. Oh no."
the five nights at freddys movie has the dumbest plot hole. Did the writers forget about the dead body in the house? Cops not gonna look into that? MC should be in deep dookie since he cant tell the cops a ghost did it.
The movie is made for brain-dead 6yos, and plot holes don’t exist for them because FREEDDDY ONNN SCREEEEEN 🤡🤡🤡
@@richardhead7768if you ignore all the fans that have asked that exact same question then sure your narrative is right.
The reason they forgot about her bodies is because in an earlier draft of the script things played out slightly differently, but they changed things so it was left the way we saw it in the movie, also we don't know if she's dead, according to the people who worked on the movie she might be alive or they will explain what happened to her body in the next movie, not really a plot hole more like an oversight.
If its an oversight thats even more embarrassing then. We only have the information the film provides us ether visually or otherwise, If there was no hint or cue that she could still be alive in the film then its reasonable to assume its a plot hole. I also think the taxi scene, while funny, also makes no sense.@@TiredMoonRabbit

@@ULTRAOutdoorsman I watched the video, and my point still stands. They didn't slap the movie on Netflix and say, "Hurr durr, we're going to make this appeal to children only", especially when the movie has humor that is clearly meant not aimed at kids.
I had a good time with fnaf but I kind of wished it wasn’t just for the fans because if I didn’t look up a ten minute lore video I would’ve had no idea what was going on. Also I had the worst movie theater experience. The majority of my theater were teens and they were screaming like animals whenever anything Freddy was mentioned.
It wasnt made for the fans. At least for fans that had been with it from the start that just wanted a simple, to the point, "gritty" (as gritty as the first game was anyway) horror movie where our protagonist does security detail for a haunted pizzeria. @@lordxmugen Totally, it was a movie for the fans of FNAF lore, not the FNAF games. Best scene for me was the silly part with Bonnie falling down 'cause at least it was something unexpected.
