The more you suffer, the more you manifest increased suffering. The increased suffering manifests even more suffering… I was in that place for 5 and a half years. To climb out of that place at rock bottom is in itself a miracle. Just as things were getting better for me I had an accident that killed me for almost ten minutes. When I came back a voice told me I could choose. I could allow to close my eyes just long enough and i would have a peaceful death and leave earth, or I could choose to stay and suffer to stay alive. I was on the hospital bed for around 6 hours and every breath i took was only half enough air to keep me alive. I was nearly suffocating for 6 hours straight. After i recovered from that things got better. Today im alright but My past both makes me proud of myself and scared at the same time. I know what pain is and thanks for sharing Dax. This reassures me that if you or someone else can pull through the pain, I can always fight through it.
That last part resonates a lot, it is something I have said, thought, felt many times now that I am not in that place anymore. Thinking of what I endured makes me both exceptionnally proud and frightened. I find that if I really confront that frightened feeling, there is also an immense joy emerging from this dark, intense feeling that comes from the realisation that if I went through that than I can get through anything
