Really Sad News about Boss

- I can't tell you how I dreaded to make this video. Hard to say but after 3 short years with out sweet boy we had to say goodbye.
We all know that we are never ready but I miss him terribly. He was a great thief and he stole my heart right from the start. He became the subject of a lot of my videos so even though it still hurts to talk about him I felt it was so important to make the tribute to this very special boy.

Thank you for your kind words. You know I have a wall of urns and each of my babies I have loved. We think it becomes easier to let go because we know we must but ...it just doesn't. Still a part of me who really thought I could just nurse him along for at least another year. We are just never ready. It is still a bit raw. I miss him. It is what we dog lovers do isn't it?

Thank you. I miss him. I still catch myself looking for him on his giant dog bed when I come home sometimes. It takes time but the memories are so sweet. He was definitely special!

Thank you Jenna for your kind thoughts. We had a wonderful 3 years together and I am thankful for that. It is surprising, when they are gone, how you realize just how much a part of your life they become. So many times a day I reach, look for and expect to see or hear him. A big hole...

I'm Very Sorry for poor Boss, my Condolences. I've had to help my therapy cat to the bridge. Three weeks ago to kitty covid. But they Both will be running and playing with No Pain. Blessed Be
I am so sorry for your loss. It is the hardest part of our pet family experience. It takes so long to be able to recall all the fun and loving moments. I still look for Boss on entering the house. Hugs to you.
Sending you prayers and light. My dog is 11 years old and this year I have seen him deteriorate. He has arthritis and joint pain.
Thank you for the kind thoughts and prayers. It is hard when we see our babies begin the journey on the other side of the mountain. I sit a lot of dogs and when they get older they all seem to have a bit or a lot of arthritis! Humans too actually. Hang in there. There are a lot of natural remedies to help with the inflammation and pain, but no cure:-(. Sending you prayers for as much time as possible.
Awwww beautiful dog, I want mastif like that one day, but its so heart breaking when they get old, unwell and pass.. have 13 yrs old collie thats geting artheritis so tough time are coming :( but at least they are loved and taken care off
Boss and Bito were my sister's dogs. When she passed they were already older so we knew the chances of their finding a good home were not good. Once we got them both home they immediately stole our hearts. Bull Mastiffs, to my surprise , are the sweetest dogs on the planet. Gentle, goofy giants! Still think about and miss him every day. LOTS of good memories!
Did you ever do a DNA test to see what your dog was at risk for?
Boss was my sister's dog. When she passed he was already 8 years old. And no, he was not tested.
