They really love each and that is why they have so much energy when they are together. Rene is totally radiant when she looks at Lucy and her smile is so full of admiration. Rene knows Lucy's voice and that is why she immediately scream when Lucy called her name from the audience. Thank you for sharing this beautiful moment with us in you tube.
I love how Lucy breaks character for a moment to let Reneé know that she genuinely did enjoy her play, and wasn't just acting when she said she liked it.

Yeah she was crying, she was very emotive because of the play she just had performed. Lucy was there in disguise to see her perform. I posted the video of the play too :)
Well yes she recognized Lucy's voice,and I believe that the character that she was playing was just in open flirting with her,but I think that's just how they normally interact with each other probably.
