I like the call-back to ep.1. Heiter knew Frieren was suppressing her mana so he had her teach him how to do it.. for that child mage some day. Fern being barely detectable at age 7 or 8 when she first meets Frieren. More praise in this episode! Frieren being proud of Fern and Stark (2nd time for him) for defeating the 2 demons and a different kind thru Kraft and Heiter. Great stuff, can't wait for more!
YESSSSS when Fern and Frieren first met and she was undetectable... I have to go back and watch that cute ass little clip now hahaha. I LOVE the praise too... I don't think I have ever said "awwww" watching an anime as much as I do this one
This is definitely one of my favorite shows to come out recently, the next episode gets a special place in my heart though, so good! I envy anyone watching this for the first time its such an amazing show.
I've probably watched most of the episodes between 30-50 times, if you count reactors as watching it, and I'm still finding or being shown little gems. The care that the production team took with creating this is amazing.
Soooo pretty I tried my best to put it in here without getting copyrighted. It tied that arc up in the BEST way possible. I re-listened to that song like five times while editing this hahaha.
Another Awesome Reaction! The bit about the winters of the North being the greatest killer in the war between human and demons mirrors the realities of mediaeval warfare. Poor weather and disease were some of the greatest killers in war, right into the modern period. In World War 1, some 2 million people are believed to have been killed by disease alone, and the unique circumstances of the western front allowed for the spread of the most deadly pandemic of all time, the Spanish flu, which killed between 17 million and 100 million people, during and after the war. Even in modern on-going conflicts, a substantial number of deaths and injuries are due to poor weather and disease (especially in more deprived regions of the world).

I am SO happy I found this anime… truly a GEM that stands out amongst so many copy paste stories 😊

Bliss, the insert song for the first half, is too powerful. Its so pretty how they close out the arc of the last few episodes with it.
