Would be interesting to see an ISO-certified 200m diver vs similarly priced a non-ISO-certified 200m diver. Like a $300 Citizen Promaster automatic vs Orient Kamasu.
Just wanted to point out that the picture at 0:15 obviously shows an Oktoberfest scene, and the Oktoberfest, world's biggest puke party, happens in Munich, Germany. Note he tablecloth in blue and white, which are the bavarian colors (and also the BMW colors btw). I'm not saying swiss people wouldn't be able to smash jugs as well, i'm just saying neither the bavarians nor the swiss people would want to be confused with each other 😉🍻
I think I'm way late, but "First Dibs" dammit. Awesome video my friend...been here since video #1 and your subscriber count is slowly going up. This time next year I betcha you'll be double what you are now. Thanks for doing what you do.
I'd like to see some dive computers tested. Not necessarily to destruction, but say, put a group of computers in and see how they report the depth compared to your calibration. Maybe even play with the deco algorithms as well. And then test to destruction of course
One thing I would have liked to see in this one, is when the watch stopped working, would have been to bring it back to a lower pressure and see if it came back to life
Check out the Invicta Hydromax. That horrid monster claims 100atm, or 1000m. Would be cool to see if it could go deeper than a rolex deepsea. Or watch the crystal explode!
It would be interesting to see how overdimensioned or overengineered a watch like the Citizen Ecozilla is compared to similar priced watches that are suited for 300m as well.
1) 1:20: Arabic reads left to right. 2) I still offer the Dropzone seven increasing crush depth pressure sealed wine bottles to set a new glass bottle crush depth record. A 750 ml Kripta sparkling cava amphora bottle is an entirely different geometry. 3) I'm fabricating 48 flotation and 30 benthic 600-year time release messages in bottles for an oceanographic group. It is easy to add your adventure to the line. I emailed your Channel. Will clever glass defeat clever steel?
This video isn’t useful for anything beyond some entertainment . Testing a 40 year old watch is meaningless. Testing a 40 year old fake watch is even more meaningless. I can refurb both, put new gaskets and seals, and they will out Perform most modern watches, Swiss or otherwise. I have no idea what this video showed or proved or who it helped
Most of them are using data and ISO specifications from 20 years ago. I block any channel that says it's not safe to swim with a watch rated at 3BAR. They're idiots pushing misinformation.

Thanks for the suggestion. Upvote the original comment if you want this to be the next watch episode.

One category of items which could be interesting are bathroom items like toothpaste tubes, shaving cream and deodorant cans etc.

An unexpected Top Gear reference was nice
I missed first dibs, but that was fun.

I saw the action channel make supercritical fluids. Do you think you can make that in this tank?
Yep. I'll think of some things we can mix with supercritical CO2.

It pains me to see a lovely 90s Tag being destroyed, even for science. Nice to see it still held up though.
It's really old. Gaskets may have eroded from many things. The first one is amazing for a 30 year old watch. May have been serviced at some point.
There is one from Certina claiming 1000m WR, that would be interesting
Suggestion: set up an Amazon wish list with items to crush..
Sinn U1 would be interesting 💵 💵
Haha, that made me belly laugh 😂😂
First dibs! (Although I don’t really expect to get it at this point)
I’d take the old TAG and fix it 😅 dibs
No dibs, do not want, return to sender
Shouldn't all the entries on the leader board have a "W" next to them?

First dibs, worth a shot
Lol
Hydro mod

Too bad, Vostok Amphibia's are no longer cheap. Would be interesting to see how they fair
First dibs on the watch
Lol why
Are you going to let him talk you out of some sweet Swiss gold? Lol.. Let me know where to sent it at thedropzonechannel@gmail.com. Cheers!
@ why not?
First Dabs
First Dibs
First Dods
A lot of other crappy watch channels could donate some to your channel. Yours is a useful channel about dive watches.

First dibs
First dibs!!!
Don't waste a mail delivery on that
That’s dumb. The two tone is still worth money. The silver fake one needs to be dumped into the deepest ocean
“Watch people” are strange.
LOL tell me you are trolling and don’t actually think that second watch is an actual tag. That is a cheap and HORRIBLE fake .
👍 (yeah bro, he knows. He made a joke about buying it from a sketchy Russian dude. Common trope. Stop being cringe)
Relax, Guy. He knows 😂😂 I’m embarrassed for you, learn to take a joke 😅
