Bought Apartment and got cheated by stupid builder and money locked for 7 years , even today all work not completed Maintenance price is too high . Govt in hands with such cheaters and middle class suffer. No resolution to any problems. Now thinking could have lived in a rental house
In India, all builders are fraud. Unfortunately, the law is on the builder side, not on the buyer side. I had booked my house in 2009, paid 95% of money. No possession yet. Case is with the Supreme court for the past 8 years, no verdict yet. No support from the state or center govt. either.
It is infact a smart idea to rent rather than buying an expensive property in city. But however if you plan to settle down in the city then you can consider selling the bungalow in small city and buy a property using the proceeds in the bigger city
