Does anyone know why sometimes after your Chaos Control runs out, it recharges, but other times it doesn’t? Is there something you need to do during Chaos Control to make it recharge after it finishes?
This is actually a technique referred to as "Chaos Control Buffering". If you hit a Chaos Energy capsule while time is stopped, and you hold the Chaos Control button right before it ends, it will immediately slow down time. This causes the capsule to break twice, effectively giving you *3* chained chaos controls. Pretty nifty tech ^^
@@RubyTheWitchRTW Did you do this at 0:21? Sometimes it recharges more than others, and sometimes it doesn’t recharge at all. I can’t get it to work consistently :( What am I doing wrong?
@@samTD97 Agh, this bullshit section specifically. I can't figure out how to get a good amount consistently. I also ran into the issue of it giving way too little or way too much. I think it might be possible to get it more consistent by timing it so while deploying your wings, you stomp and dash out of it before the timers hits 0.9? It's confusing ^^"
2:45ish rta. damn. Chaos control shaving off like a minute is kinda rad actually. Do you think it will make the categories more volatile? I feel like it would have to.
I don't think it'll get too outta hand. The fun I have with speedrunning this game is figuring out when the best time to use Chaos Control is ^^ But I wouldn't be opposed to having 2 separate categories w/ and wo/ Chaos Control
@@RubyTheWitchRTW oh definitely the routing looks cool. I kinda like having game be so focused on it and might actually prefer it not having wo/ chaos control. I'm just a spectator though, I'm sure runner opinions will matter more. Do you predict it having any kind of cool movement tech or clips or anything like that?
@@mycenaeangal9312 Chaos Control itself? Possibly! The current tech that most runners use is the air-momentum preserving chaos spear trick. it does exactly what it says and is *crucial* to large skips.
@@RaijinRift This is impossible, considering that some cinematic spots requires Chaos Control to trigger, and in some boss fights it is required to finish it. Moreover, this will make the Chaos Control Master Challenge Acts completely meaningless.

How many hours do you have on this game?
Yes.
Currently, 46.5 hours on steam ^^
I only have 7 played it day one completed it and took time to finish sa2
Chaos Control stopping the ingame time needs to be removed cause that sabotages Leaderboards.
How does it "sabotage" leaderboards? That's the whole point of using it
it doesnt, you just need two categories of no c.control or with it

@@sbc7246 well yeaz some are required, then some arent
What if they had brackets underneath the timer showing how much time you shaved off with Chaos Control.
