i appreciate the unintentional beauty of leaving out the last verse on a technical end it makes sense because, yknow, screaming, but leaving the part of the song where oli sings about being more positive and carrying on and replacing it with just the instrumental changes the message a lil bit, at least it does for me. there’s only ambiguity and the unknown where a light should be, and it (indirectly) tells us that yeah. we just might be.
