Completely fabricated ‘attitude problem’ for Palma. His post not close to the same level as Cantwell. It’s a post about being resilient which is a trait that we should want players to have.

I think it was brave of our manager to change so many players at the weekend. With the squad we have it was a good idea to give fringe players a run out. Most were clearly not match fit and the game would only have helped that. Idah will get better as his matchday sharpness is honed. Looking forward to the Dortmund game. Huge congratulations on hitting 10K subs. Best Celtic channel by a mile!
I think we should try and lift players not constantly put them down. Thought Idah was good the way he stretched the game on Sunday. McGregor & Hetate were losing there battles first half which caused us problems. That said his 2 goals were the most important.
Can anyone remember a season where sections of our support have been so moany and negative? Seen it all from Idah's no use to Rodgers must go during Falkirk game ! Some folk need to gie their heid a wobble .
It’s the new spoiled brat fan base imo. Younger fans who have only really understood Celtic during decades of dominance. They don’t remember a time where there was any adversity or threat, so when there is even a small hurdle they can’t emotionally handle it and it’s embarrassing 😂
I have trouble processing the mindset of how we should be beating ever team 5-0 with silky football, as supporter who’s followed Celtic from the 60’s I can’t stand the critical entitled mentality, at one time going to see Celtic was a package , Saturday off, couple of pints, sing song on the bus , buzz of the crowd , big sing song in the park with your pals and good craic, hopefully good goals, good result, it takes a stretch of the imagination to think of just turning up folding your arms and waiting for a big winning score line to be satisfied with Celtic? 🍀
Couldn’t agree more mate, there were boos at half time and the grumbling every time a pass went astray at the start of the 2nd were ridiculous. When the team needs you you get on their backs. Like spoiled brats some of our fans
I remember last year Maeda was getting slated for missing chances and being called a liability. Now Palma has become a waste of money almost overnight? Come on man, if you think he’s not got it in him to contribute this season you’re doing the kid a complete disservice.

It’s a Social Media syndrome regarding Idah. People go all in posting ‘ I don’t think he’s worth the money’ and spend the rest of time looking for reasons to back it up. A modern disease. Sad
They can’t admit they are wrong. Nowadays, it’s not about discussing and learning it’s about being right and then doubling down even when unequivocally factually incorrect. Idah and Scales are factually solid in their positions for us. No argument or debate required anymore but folk still will 😂🤦♂️
Explain? Forrest does a job on left or right. Yang can do a job. Palma was class in preseason, he’s obviously struggling with the inconsistency of his game time. Valle played his first game and was okay. Midfield options off the bench look great, Trusty will come good. Ralston is probably the only weak player we can bring off the bench but he’s fine for the league and cup. Players can off days, they aren’t going to be top of their game every single week. They are allowed slumps. Only thing that matters is the result and we are getting results. I was at the Falkirk game and could see they would tire after 60-70 minutes with all the work they were doing. The injection of pace off the bench obviously helped but even without that, we’d still have won. A narrative gets created because subs made the difference but Falkirk were shattered. Keep the faith and stop being negative
A big part of some supporters lives is them believing that they know football and have brilliant opinions. Some should back up the confidence first and massage their ego second.
Just scoring isnt enough Hamish. Idah has to do more off the ball. Hes still a project in that he has alot of developing to do. The fact Kyogo gets picked for every big game tells you it isnt just the fans that arent convinced with Idah, Rodgers still has kyogo as the number one and i dont see that changing until Kyogo moves on.
A striker scoring is priority, and he has been doing it even while still getting his sharpness back. He played the majority of that game with wingers making zero delivery for him, and scored two as soon as players at his level who can deliver the ball came on. He’s a quality target man at 23, and plays for the badge. Back him.
@@b.s.bobbyshaw Kyogo is miles ahead of him in terms of what he brings to the team. IMO Idah still has a long way to go and will hopefully get there, but if Kyogo was out for the season i wouldnt be confident with Idah as the main striker especially in europe. If only playing for the badge made you a better player.🤣
@@jackjones1249 What does Idah have to do? @@b.s.bobbyshaw I genuinely think it could take a couple of years to see the best of Idah as he hasnt played much football where ever he has been and still needs that game time of playing every week.
