Growing up I think every Celtic fan I knew supported Man U… Me? I fell in love with Liverpool back in the days of Kevin Keegan. He was my favourite player as a boy..got his Christmas annual and had a poster on my bedroom wall which was a bone of contention for my Man U supporting big brother. My old Man decided that to stop arguments only Celtic posters were allowed.

At least 50% of my bluenose neighbours and pals today said what a cracking result that was and that's great, you can be as staunch as you want but still appreciate good football. I'm loving this new style of league in Europe I think they are both excellent the CL and EL, there's less pressure on teams like Celtic, Mpnaco and Sporting. They're not enclosed in that tiny four team league it's easier to relax and get the flow of play.

So many people saying this new format is rubbish, claiming it’s basically a “super league” are brainless. It’s incredible, gives the “lesser” clubs a great opportunity. Brest and Monaco for example, heading for the last 16 when in the old format they wouldn’t have a hope!
The new format is the best thing that's happened to the Champions League since it's Inception. Meaningful points, far more variety, arguably fairer, no group of death (or easy ride), more games, far less chance of dead rubbers, every game feels like a cup tie, and hopefully, legitimate champions at the end. The absolute icing on the cake would be to see a final contested between two teams from outside the European mega clubs
For me this was actually a masterclass..like this is how we want to play.. dortmund came to early...but you could see here it was more messured.. blew them away and see tbh we could have done this vs bvb if we didn't need taught a lesson...

Looking good so far but other teams to play shall be tough games Brugges to come we have to go for it v them and pick up the win for the points at home on 27th November . But its following game shall i think be one of toughest away to Zagreb as they have been winning well and thats away on 10th December ..Then its at home v Young Boys 22nd January 2025 .. With the final match id love most to see us win although tough shall be away to Villa on the 29 th January but im hopeful we shall have enough points by the final match to have done enough to get through Hh
