Terrific - I washed a pair of white Vans, and the canvas was clean but the rubber part somehow obtained a blue stain (even though I washed them with bleach with all whites). I just happened to have the exact same brand of polish remover you used in the video, and it worked like a dream!
OMG. It really works like magic. And so simple. Next time I travel I'll carry a smal flat box of nail polish remover swipes in my handbag and as soon as the shoe stains,, I'll clean it with the swipe. Thanx so much for this easy tip
Perfect, I tried all the suggestions on internet and this was by faaaar the best
With this video as inspiration I just tried my gf makeup wipes (shhh) and they also worked wonders 😁
Lmao! Oh hell NO!!!! If my makeup removing wipes were used for that I’d flip 😂😂😂
This works! Quick and easy too, thank you.
Thanks. This works well on the white outer rubber of my Roger Vivier and UGG sneakers.
YOU JUST SAVED ME FROM SO MUCH HASSLE TYSM
you’re such an angel..thank you 🙏🏻
Wow! 😲
Thanks so much for sharing this tip! I NEVER would have thought to use nail polish remover. ❤
Kerosene?😊
Is too good thank you so soooo much for sharing stay blessed with health forever ❤
Brilliant! Took the stain out straight away with no impact to the rubber itself! Thank you
Thanks for the help man
I agree on acetone as a quick solution, not often. I used it on once on one of my Chukkas with white soles in conjunction with an eraser I use for suede shoes, and no problem with glue as they are stitched in addition to the cement. Later on, just buy a proper white sole cleaner, they don't cost too much. Anyway, I try never to buy shoes with white soles nowadays, troublesome, and they turn yellow in my place's climate. I can't escape having to be the designated cleaner for my wife's shoes, though, and she has tens of white shoes :(.
Thank you so much u just saved me a lot of money
Thanks so much ! Hands sore but it worked !
Definitely Magic !! 😳😍🎉🎉
Yeah. But don't go crazy with that acetone. It accelerates the drying of the rubber. Once in a blue moon is fine tho.
Since the cleaning product is on the harsh side, (no problem), what do you recommend to seal, condition, apply?
works great
I just saved myself 150 bucks lol if u know u know
fz150, saves you 150 bucks. *cost of fz150: 1500 bucks + 150 bucks shipping to UK*
If you want your shoes fix fz150 does the trick
FZ 150😂
I don’t see no foam
i scrub it on hahha
tried it, works well enough to clean my vans. Wouldn't recommend long term mind, but good when they are dirty.
but overtime this will smoothen out the texture on the rubber outer sole?
Very simple
This won't dry the rubber out and cause cracking?
Should it be a remover with acetone?
You just saved 7 pairs of Nike Air Max 90's from the bin.
Gonna use this on my white python louboutin trainers
Will try my Jordan worry me
Cloth with some whitening toothpaste... I put some clear nail polish on, so it wipes off easier..😊
Oh how I love UA-cam
I would think the acetone would ruin the rubber???
No it will not
You could try regular nail polish remover instead of pure acetone
It can if you're sloppy or inpatient and pour it on there. It's great if you're careful.
wow, over here scrubbin my life away, messin around with dish soap & baking soda -.-
thank you. my first thought was baking soda...must try a trainer each: one with nail varnish, the other the soda..
What worked best?
@@arlabdid u try?
No, I didn’t try it. I can’t recommend one approach over the other. 😶
Amazing
Thanks :D

Works good with a pair of trainer I got from Bershka however it did turn the areas a bit yellow but I didn’t mind
Then use toothpaste for the yellow stain
Does anyone know if this can ruin the shoe?
Definitely not gonna wanna use it on the other parts of your shoe, that's for sure. If you have paint tape you could use that, I use Q-tips myself. Certainly not going to want to use it on leather or the top parts of most shoes as you may remove the paint.
You also need to be careful where different materials join, so you don’t end up delaminating adhesives.
Tried it now, slightly works.. about 60% to what I'd prefer
The acetone will break down the glue and stitching of the midsole. I ruin a pair of Dunks a couple of years ago using nail polish remover. It will clean the midsole but it will eventually breakdown the shoe.
Nice
Thanks :)

would a toothbrush or a washcloth work as good?
won't
Use ethanol or methylated sprit instead
90% rubbing alcohol gotta be better than nailpolish remover no?
@joshmcclurg5332 no, acetone and alcohol aren't even close. But alcohol does work but it will take you longer and a bit more effort.
I have 169 Ecco's. Three different pairs. I tried this and magic eraser, nothing wirked so far. A little tooical durt came off, but not the main markings in the white soles. **Always clean the day of acquiring the dirt. Much easier to come off before it gets embedded.
Have you found a solution yet?
What's tooical durt?
Hello hello hello, how low, I haven’t scroll through endlessUA-cam videos. I’m just wondering if some kind soul out there could point me in the direction of a video that shows how to get the bottom of your shoes clean if you have a white soul on the side as well as underneath the shoe?
Thank you for your time AK
That's a bit risky because you might get your shoe discolored if you accidentally rub it
You can always tape around the shoe, the other part you don't want to affect, or use something smaller like a qtip.
This doesn't work sometimes not cause the remover but cause the paint of the piece of rubber had contact with paint and was enough for it to stay their like you gave it paint so u gotta repaint it back to it's color
🤔🤔
Oxy action and toothbrush. Simple & effective results.
how to make cauce sol sepatu
A paper towel and goo-gone works just as well
while this worked for me, what was faster and less rubbing, was a mr. Clean eraser.
Yeah that magic eraser does..... Magic lol. Aside from it breaking apart easily, it's a great product
I tried this on Michael Kors trainers and the rubber melted should of tried a small area not happy
I was attacked by six dwarves last night. Not Happy. 😅 Seriously though, nail polish remover is ACETONE! She should have let you know not to leave it sitting on the rubber too long. It works, but you should wipe it away a few seconds after applying, and keep a close eye on how it's affecting the rubber.
Bro, this is an important lesson to stick to the direction she gave you. You're worse than the lady who bakes a pie at 500 degrees instead of 350 because she wants it done faster.
This was your mistake.
Just don’t understand why so many shoes have this ugly white trim as very few people bother to clean theirs and it just looks awful
Magic eraser
Wear gloves, acetone should not contact the skin.
This didn't work at all!
Wow sweetheart! We can finally go out on our first date.
what do you mean?
IT DOESNT WORK ....:(((((
