Not in my opinion my dad just hates fords because he had the Ford Flex he said he bought it new and the gas mileage was bad so he never liked fords

Malaysia here. Also can relate in terms of car sizes.
A mid sized sedan like a Toyota Camry is considered a large vehicle here.
And even the Toyota Hilux or equivalent sized pickup trucks, while big for our road, it nothing compared to the large American pickups/SUVs.
I’m from Texas and pretty much everyone in my family has either an F150 or Silverado.
The only expedition this will go on is the chick-fil-a drive through during dinner rush.

The Expedition Max is the same size as the Excursion, but with way more interior room, and more payload than the PSD Excursion. And the Expy has more power.
@@bryancarrington3518 be we aren't talking about that car are we? I know the max exists but as I said in one of my reply's the max doesn't have a diesel V8 does it? Nor does it come with a V10 Or V8 (gas)

Had this x 1 week ; 12h drive along the east coast w/ 2 kids and 2 dogs was amazing!
It’s fast, smooth, comfortable. Acceleration is great for something this large at all speeds, the transmission is smooth and jerk free, the most surprising thing is the TURNING RADIUS!!! It’s sooo tight!!!

YAAAS we had a Powerstroke Eddie Bauer Excursion back in 05 and I still wish we had it even if emissions are trash. I hope Ford sees this.

I remember that monstrosity, it was even longer than our suburban and '84 grand marquis wagon
by the way the marquis was about 213.5" long, longer than this vehicle and the tahoe by a few inches. (but the suburban and long wheelbase versions are even longer)
Love the new Expedition w/excellent gen2 - 3.5L Ecoboost mated to 10spd automatic. Best in class powertrain. We test drove it an bought it. Very well built folks. It's pricey but this rig is plush & stout in design . Will last 20yrs w/good basic maintenance!

@BMW M CARS my dad has this my family is all tall and we also need a big SUV for our dogs and when we travel and when we get a trailer it also works as a truck hauling stuff he wanted a truck but we agreed this was smarter

My Dad had an 2000-ish Expedition (not sure the year but that sort of look) and we went all over the place in that thing. It looked and felt like a big truck. We took it up to the sequoias to go camping. I remember, of all our cars, the trunk space was HUGE. Hahah, I even remember thinking how cool it was that you could open the trunk by the rear window instead of the whole door. We donated it away a long time ago, and I think my Dad still misses that truck.

Jakub swerving the wheel back and forth during the seat detail footage absolutely killed me.
Drove one of these a few hundred miles to Branson, and my lord, these are big heavy bois. Surprisingly, it's way more fuel efficient than the honda element I came from. Like, 30+ mpg in mixed driving.
Touch screens are cheaper to manufacture vs buttons/knobs. Buttons/knobs any day. Ford analogy is spot on, I like the styling..
We own a 2017 Explorer Sport and incredibly enough we think we need more space so the next USED SUV we’re getting is the Expedition.
I feel like Jakub has pretty much the same reactions as me during launches, like his face is a better reference for acceleration than the actual numbers

when americans said 300+ hp is just enough but here having more than 150hp is more than enough since most cars sold here have no more than around 100-130hp

This is the SUV you get if you use it for carrying a bigger family but also use if for hauling trailers and boats.

I work for the PC Express service at my local Loblaws and we have a weekly regular that comes in with his 2020 Ford Expedition and I can load his $500 orders into his car no problem with tons of room to spare

As a Murican, I also didn't know what King Ranch meant...
I'm an infotainment engineer, and the reason why some car infotainments are laggy is for not being too much distracted, for example after you press a certain function, you have to wait a little till it works or changes, and during this waiting time you can watch the road ahed of you, otherwise if it was a lag free infotainment probably you would continue using the infotainment and forget about checking the road.
Just kidding, I'm not an infotainment engineer, but this is the only reason I think why some infotainments are laggy.
I’d rather the Expedition MAX.
The biggest appeal is the towing capacity. It's the king when it comes to SUV towing capability.

Yeah they're nice and all but if you have a large family, it can't tow for crap. That's why I got an 05 Excursion. Max towing is 11,000 but with the modifications done on it bumped it to 13,000. I wish suv's nowadays could still tow anything of significant size
They do come with a 450 hp 510 tq twin turbo ECO Boost I drove 1 and it is fast
Nice job of promoting continental tires as well as hachsmith yuri ....... back to the review I think I would take the Tahoe over that but was impressed with the box test that was a crap ton of boxes nice job guys as always

I agree...the leather color is and has been a miss for several years. Ford needs help with color / texture selections. Pretty vehicle. I look forward to owning a used one in the future. I’m NOT spending 80k on a big, slow, under powered box on wheels.

Maybe an engineer can explain the shark fin antenna placement to Yuri, and why they keep putting in the front above the windshield. It would look better at the rear near the liftgate like so many other SUV's, namely Ford's own Explorer and Edge.
The gauges, screens, and resolution need desperate upgrades for the price their charging for this box
