Thank You All 😊
Thanks all for watching! If you haven’t already then you’ve got to try the @callaway Jaws Raw wedges
Got fitted for these and they weren’t even on my radar….felt smooth and solid, can’t wait to get them !
They’re amazing, the raw face never looses its spin and I’ve had them for ages now
Just replaced some PM grind 19 wedges with 3 of these bad boys.
50 S grind,54W grind and 60Z grind. What an incredible set! I love how the leading edge chamfer allows the club to slide instead of dig.Expensive? Hell yeah they were.Worth it? You bet! I love the feel and control they provide and the are super nice in the bag.Great video..😎👍💥
Thank you and you’re 100% right they’re fantastic wedges
Nice looking Jaws wedges. I have older Callaway 52 forged+ and a 56 X series Jaws. So far they fit me well for my budget and game. Great video on your wedges.
Thanks mate, love these wedges. They’re so pure
Appreciate the comments on the wedges. I have older generation Jaws and really like them. Struggle though here in Texas with the tight lies and figuring out the optimal bounce and which grind to utilize.
What grinds do you have on the wedges? Might be worth trying the new Z grind?
I know this comment is a year old but thought I’d chime in. I live in Houston and play a lot of public courses with tight lies, hardpan, firm bunkers, etc. I game a 58° z-grind Jaws Raw and it’s far and away been the best wedge I’ve found for those conditions. Def worth checking out.
I would disagree on one thing. Other testers have done studies on this and the rust added to the face does not increase spin.
After having them and using them for 12 months what it does it retain the spin. I have the same amount of spin on these wedges now (at least if not more) than when they were brand new
Great video again... maybe you are hitting them better because the swing weight is better in this 52 wedge? I have the Jaws in the carbon black love them.
That could be possible for sure. I do like wedges to be heavier
I got fitted and hit many different wedges I went with the new jaws wedges . They did great my first time out with them
That’s great to hear. What grinds did you end up getting?
I went with the S grind 10 bounce on a 50, 54, & 58 degrees because of where I live and play
@@chrisrand5680 I love the S grind. I just went the Z Grind in the 60* but the S grind is amazing
@@davidmaxfieldgolf yes I love them. Thanks for all the great content in your videos 👍
@@chrisrand5680 thank you mate
Rust adding spin to your ball is a huge misconception. if a wedge gets too rusted it will also reduce spin to your ball. the main reason is to reduce glare. You want to wipe the face off with a purple scotch brite pad to keep the rust under control. There is a video talking about the wedge bounces with Roger cleveland and he says it himself.
I don’t disagree
He was asked if the rust added spin and his response was "Not really.."
It's hilarious you have roo's cutting across the fairway and you think nothing of it...lol I have foxes, coyotes and deer on mine. Man I'm in the market for some new wedges and you really got me thinking of those callaways. I don't want to spend the extra cash..lol I know I know you get what you pay for. What bounce are you playing. Thanks
You won’t be disappointed with these 😊 I’ve got 10 bounce in the 52,56 and 8 bounce in the 60*
