I personally never feel that but it also depends on the driving style one follows, with a bit of overload you may feel it but it does its job beautifully. It is more about torque than power. Proud owner of Jimny .most capable vehicle.no one can beat this small tank which is best for every span of life from deserts to mountains……….thar and Gurkha are really heavy bone machines . I have great love for them also .but even they also surrender in most tough situations before jimny due to its light weight and small size.jimny will keep you out in deserts as well as from ice regimes safely in comparison to other heavy bone vehicles which definitely look good at outer but at battle ground keep owners in tensions for rescue and recovery.actually choice is between mussels and mindfulness.
I acquired my Alpha AT in September 2024. I am absolutely in love with this car. I own other high-end luxury vehicles, but they have all remained parked since I purchased this one. It's difficult to articulate precisely what makes this car so special, but it brings me more joy than a BMW. I may sound crazy, but that's simply how I feel.

Do you use/ recommend the use of wind booster in Jimni AT? Will it affect the engine performance or life or safety aspects in any way-short or long term?
I used it to test, technically and honestly, I am not a big fan of wind boosters. This is the only device I found which plays vehicles and the human brain at the same time. If you look at its working principle, there is no power gain as well. For me it is a fancy item a toy for a kid and getting bored after a week or so. Maybe some features are useful e.g. anti theft etc but that's not for real thieves. I am not sure how the vehicle is going to behave while you are crushing on the highway and it fails so no comment on that. Lastly, it plays with throttle which probably somewhere plays with the adaptive nature of the modern ECU but that is a matter of testing. And especially when one is using cruise control. I can't recommend anything which is not really verified from my point of view for the benefits of the forum. Hope, you understand I am coming from. Good luck 🤞😊

Hello sir i bought the jimny alpha MT 2024 just today itself, i wanted to ask some questions: 1. Does the shifting become smooth after some kilometers or it remains hard and notchy? 2. Do you have problems engaging reverse gear? 3. Does your 4x4 engaging gear smoothen on use after some kilometers or it also remains hard, also is it normal if it makes a metallic click sound when shifting from 2H to 4H and 4H to 4L? 4. Did you have the bangle issue on your rear prop-shaft? And will i have it if i load the jimny with total 4 people including the driver and some luggage, in its stock tyres and suspension while driving in city or some rough patches? 5. But a note for #3 engaging and disengaging 2H, 4H, 4L. This sounds quite normal but forget about what the manual says (language is so confusing), try to shift all those gears while you car is stationary and wheels are straight. 4H you can go on the fly but avoid it. It is your property now after you bought it 😊. Thank you! Absolutely and there is no need to cut any feature apart from removing the music system from base variety. With the name of T. edition they sold it for 10.74 already. Here the bigger issue is the arrogant nature of making it in that way and somewhere Suzuki is already facing bashed from early buyers but still doable. I know you are coming from and yes offloading doesn't need many electronic components. But this is not the opinion of the majority of people is another issue. I went for a test drive of Jimny today and I really loved it. While test driving I saw two Jimny's getting ready for delivery on that day. I asked the sales guy about the sales. One example I was shocked to hear was that a family and their relatives in put a bulk order of 15 - 18 Jimny's in that Bangalore showroom alone! There was a December end sales discount going on and it was difficult to get hold of the right color Jimny and I could not make the purchase. I am planning on my next car to be a Jimny but the Karnataka Govt is playing spoilsport by having the highest road tax and are only thinking of increasing in 2025 and on top of that majority manufacturers are increasing their prices by 4% including Maruti 😞 Hopefully Central Govt can reduce taxes and make things easier for us. Most of the online glitzy graphics videos talking about Jimny sales created by some random UA-camrs are bogus and are there to create controversial videos to attract viewers. The reality is completely different.

I own Jimny Alpha Manual Dual Tone, driven around 5000 kms till now. This involves approx. 80-85% driving on mountains including spiti circuit. I found the Jimny till now a very CAPABLE + COMPACT + 4x4 + SUV. It costed me around 13 Lakh after discount and its very decent price for the kind of vehicle you are getting.
Maruti should launch ignis AWD, in hp and utrrakhand...it will sell like hot cakes among all. Even cab. I move a lot in hp and trust me most cabbies will buy it. Even for private use. They should launch ignis internaitonal variant AWD. ZETA manual for 8 lacs. Alpha manual 9 lacs. Not automatic. And keep the same current ignis smooth gearbox unlike the jimny manual gearbox which is worse than even a gypsy feel(ive driven both).
Well, that's interesting and good point you made. The issue is such automobile makers won't work for peanuts and bulk sale and high margin is the key. Setting up Ignis All Grip Auto for India like launching a new vehicle in terms of upfront cost because of manufacturing, launching formalities, many unknown/known reasons especially when a car comes in category of AWD. Least likely a case here but should be a welcome move for many but not for the majority. I have been driving Jimny since Gen2, some hands on GEN3 (not in India), now Gen4 so don't have gearbox related complaints much especially MT probably because of fact what to expect. @MashofreaksAuto hi sir. I agree. But i just did a td of a 1.5 month old jimny 1003kms old from nexa showroom in manual and the gearbox was hard. Coming to ignis. Well maruti doesn't have to spend on R&D to develop the ignis awd. It's already there. It just needs to be introduced in the market as a pocket mountain goat and it will succeed I feel. If people can be fooled to buy compact sedans and compact suvs and micro suvs then a do it all ignis can also succeed. Just my thought. Love your channel .
@kristrails07 My friend, yes gear box is bit of harder side and most of BOF vehicle have this in this price range when we compare it with sedans or hatchbacks but it get smoother with few thousands kms of drive. Well, most European countries have this Ignis AWD and it is not about R&D, if they bring as is then it will answer import even if it only AWD system but not fully car and also if they have manufacturer it here completely then have to establish robotics and CNC according which a very costly affair apart from other heavy duty formalities, permissions, approval, register to sale 4wd version which will get registered in category of 4x4 where govt put heavy duties. Valid point ... Also add high altitude braking issue which is a life taking thing, unfortunately customer are not putting enough efforts to bend MSIL arrogance towards those issues. If there will be a serious damage then probably someone go to the lawsuit as a reactive action. It is not MSIL fault but inability of customer to get those fix and I am also part of that crowd but I did all exhausted mail trails and discussion with them. Let's hope for the best for everyone.
to the jimmy community i have a question, does the steering feel hard or it is just mine? i have to use both hand for turning hard turn.. i cant simply glide the steering wheel with one hand.. and the temperature sign (like anchor) on board keep lid on (blue) for long time at first engine start of a day.. is it normal..? i have talk at service centre but they say/clueless nature that everything is normal.
Well my friend, welcome to JIMNY COOKBOOK SERIES. If most of the time you drive a hatchback or sedan before then the complaint about the steering is not wrong. Normally, such vehicles have heavier steering and that is quite intentional. Some are little and some are little more harder. You probably get used to it soon. If after the ignition steering relaxed much more smoother than the vehicle is in off state then the steering should be fine. Secondly, the blue christmas light on the cluster in the morning 😊, that's normal in winter ❄️ which simply says that engine is in cold state and take some precautions. After 2-3 kms, sooner or later, it goes off when the engine reaches the optimal temperature. Nope, at least not sooner. almost the entire Europe is enjoying it. The market is not that matured to pay extra here. I am not saying people don't have knowledge but the majority don't need that or are not mature enough to adapt with. Suzuki has to work very hard on this because these will also not be cheap. Majority of indian customers allgrip/4x4 is not an usecase except in hilly terrains with minimum. Due to Europe weather conditions, they prefer allgrip
Well, for comforts, take a long or multiple demo with family. For mileage, it definitely can't compete it with hatchbacks and seadan but it has a best mileage amoung any 4x4 petrol vehicle available globally in BOF segment. On highway if you don't overspeed, it is easy peasy 14kmpl. Cities anything around 12-13 with light foot. What else?
Punch has a water wading depth of 375mm. Although punch is 2wd and has enough of mfg defects and fit and finish issues. But this is just for knowledge comparison.
Just think about if a car like a punch has 370mm of water wading capacity, why is Jimny is having just 300mm written in specs. Here Suzuki played smartly to keep it lower so people can't claim such things under warranty. Practically, Jimny can cross even more than 500mm with the right set of 4x4 breathers. Wonderful presentation. Most of the issues in JIMNY (Like slow pick up, turning radius issue)are acceptable but Breaking issue at high altitude and Propellar shaft issue are not acceptable. Suzuki by not coming clear on these latter issues is shooting itself in the foot.
Thanks 👍 And absolutely, high altitude braking and propshaft are two most serious concerns that should have been fixed by Suzuki. But for this every single individual has to report the issue instead of looking at each other's faces or doing workaround after market, I report these already.
Slow pick is a matter of indifference to only those who live closer to or in the hills itself. Ask a potential buyers from the plains & all they ask for is pickup. I must feel comfortable enough to drive the vehicle to hills from long distance in the plains to enjoy its capabilities. Just because it is a headturner doesnot mean we should go for it ignoring its shortcomings...
Unfortunately, this is not the understanding with many people who drive it in plains and enjoy it. A very subjective concern but I have no reason to disregard this concern for yourself.
@@MashofreaksAuto i think that's where both thars succeeded in marketing. They knew hardcore offroaders were happy with the old generation raw thars we saw in deserts. They didn't care about creature comforts. Starting from the 3door they tried to focus on the best of both worlds - mass market as well as off roading enthusiasts . They rectified the shortcomings in the 3door and made it even more lifestyle than it was ever before.
Please keep in mind, only 60000 units of first generation Thars were sold in 8-9 years of time span. Now such sales come in 1 year with Gen2. Such products take time to get matured in the market to get these sold in the right set of people, it is not Jimny's fault but Suzuki marketing failed to establish it in phase 1. Way to go Man! Things are not so straightforward but I appreciate your debates as well 👍👏
Had they named it Gypsy Mark II for the Indian market, it would have taken care of the marketing. And, at a more realistic price. It's a do-it-all package to which customers will warm up to slowly but surely.

@Khanna009 Honda WRV is not a very feature rich car but this is an awesome vehicle and if that fairly new then listen to your heart ❤️ because sometimes listening to your heart for good is for the family only. Also slowly your family also starts liking it and trust me they will enjoy the rides in hills or other terrains with high sitting positioning with the panoramic views. You may seriously go for Jimny if you are good with all its limitations and normally every car has some. Hope, this helps! 😊🎉👍
They shouldn’t have launched under brand Maruti , zero dna of SuV and brand building . Maruti means Majboori . So they have Poor Management . Had Suzuki launched this under Toyota , it would have been better fit for market . I am not only blaming Maruti as brand but pointing to the fact that they have incapable management to handle good cars . They failed Jimny now and diluted it badly , hurting it global reputation . Danish sahab, completely agrees because Jimny is very capable in 4x2 mode also. It is very rare that one needs to engage in a 4x4. Maybe some people do not need that in their lifetime. All issue's you are speaking is of safety and related to engineering, what else required, you may don't mind on money, but most of the guys hard earnings may not be go to second.
I can completely understand what you are coming from and it is equally hard earned money we all have but no comparison. The overall objective of the video is to give clarity but not to sell Jimny. Many are confused with a few uncertainties and definitely you should not buy it if you are not convinced with it! I clearly mentioned this in the video that you should buy the car which you like and unfortunately you will not find any car in the market without issues. Hmnn, Rohit sahab I can understand. 4-speed TC is actually a limitation to deliver a good push beyond 80-90 kmph. Otherwise I don't see any other reason to reject. @MashofreaksAuto I m from Uttarakhand and live in quite rural mountains so needed a 4x4. So I went to test drive jimny in Dehradun because of my visit here. And it felt very stiff and rugged definitely not a good pick for long distances for both drivers and passengers. Coming to power specs maybe because I tested 3xo the same day I felt it to be underpowered. Plus backseat is only comfortable for 2 people there is no room for 3rd person and also no boot space. Although I loved the design and upright stance but was not very pleased with stiffness and power delivery of the throttle.
Right, I completely understand and I am with you. And I am also from a typical rural area so I got you. Actually, among BOF vehicles Jimny is comparatively far comfortable within this price segment but certainly can't compete with the comforts of monocoque which are mostly for long drives as you explained as well. I personally never feel that but it also depends on the driving style one follows, with a bit of overload you may feel it but it does its job beautifully. It is more about torque than power. Proud owner of Jimny .most capable vehicle.no one can beat this small tank which is best for every span of life from deserts to mountains……….thar and Gurkha are really heavy bone machines . I have great love for them also .but even they also surrender in most tough situations before jimny due to its light weight and small size.jimny will keep you out in deserts as well as from ice regimes safely in comparison to other heavy bone vehicles which definitely look good at outer but at battle ground keep owners in tensions for rescue and recovery.actually choice is between mussels and mindfulness.

I acquired my Alpha AT in September 2024. I am absolutely in love with this car. I own other high-end luxury vehicles, but they have all remained parked since I purchased this one. It's difficult to articulate precisely what makes this car so special, but it brings me more joy than a BMW. I may sound crazy, but that's simply how I feel.
Echo...., it's wonderful machine, it is not about how powerful and how luxurious but it is about its DNA which is extremely MAN irrespective of the size it has and an excellent upgrade to proven and loveable Gypsy.

Do you use/ recommend the use of wind booster in Jimni AT? Will it affect the engine performance or life or safety aspects in any way-short or long term?
I used it to test, technically and honestly, I am not a big fan of wind boosters. This is the only device I found which plays vehicles and the human brain at the same time. If you look at its working principle, there is no power gain as well. For me it is a fancy item a toy for a kid and getting bored after a week or so. Maybe some features are useful e.g. anti theft etc but that's not for real thieves. I am not sure how the vehicle is going to behave while you are crushing on the highway and it fails so no comment on that.
Lastly, it plays with throttle which probably somewhere plays with the adaptive nature of the modern ECU but that is a matter of testing. And especially when one is using cruise control. I can't recommend anything which is not really verified from my point of view for the benefits of the forum. Hope, you understand I am coming from. Good luck 🤞😊

1. Does the shifting become smooth after some kilometers or it remains hard and notchy?
2. Do you have problems engaging reverse gear?
3. Does your 4x4 engaging gear smoothen on use after some kilometers or it also remains hard, also is it normal if it makes a metallic click sound when shifting from 2H to 4H and 4H to 4L?
4. Did you have the bangle issue on your rear prop-shaft? And will i have it if i load the jimny with total 4 people including the driver and some luggage, in its stock tyres and suspension while driving in city or some rough patches?
5. Also what tyre pressures do you usually run in the city?

#1 #2 #3 points, yes will become a bit smoother with a gradual use after a few thousand km of drive. But a note for #3 engaging and disengaging 2H, 4H, 4L. This sounds quite normal but forget about what the manual says (language is so confusing), try to shift all those gears while you car is stationary and wheels are straight. 4H you can go on the fly but avoid it. It is your property now after you bought it 😊. I will make a detailed video on this as well.

#5 follows the placard with stock tires and avoids changing tires. With 2 riders 26 psi all tires, with more than that 26 psi front and 29 psi rear with stock tires.

Absolutely and there is no need to cut any feature apart from removing the music system from base variety. With the name of T. edition they sold it for 10.74 already. Here the bigger issue is the arrogant nature of making it in that way and somewhere Suzuki is already facing bashed from early buyers but still doable.
I know you are coming from and yes offloading doesn't need many electronic components. But this is not the opinion of the majority of people is another issue. Anyways, the market will get matured and Suzuki also needs to get matured to rightly place Jimny.

I went for a test drive of Jimny today and I really loved it. While test driving I saw two Jimny's getting ready for delivery on that day. I asked the sales guy about the sales. One example I was shocked to hear was that a family and their relatives in put a bulk order of 15 - 18 Jimny's in that Bangalore showroom alone! There was a December end sales discount going on and it was difficult to get hold of the right color Jimny and I could not make the purchase. I am planning on my next car to be a Jimny but the Karnataka Govt is playing spoilsport by having the highest road tax and are only thinking of increasing in 2025 and on top of that majority manufacturers are increasing their prices by 4% including Maruti 😞 Hopefully Central Govt can reduce taxes and make things easier for us.
Most of the online glitzy graphics videos talking about Jimny sales created by some random UA-camrs are bogus and are there to create controversial videos to attract viewers. The reality is completely different.
Hmnn, current taxes can easily break back the bone of aam aadmi. I agree, Jimny is a very good car but one should buy it only if one understands the vehicle otherwise I saw many to cry later and many of us enjoying it a lot. A great upgrade to Lord Gypsy.

I own Jimny Alpha Manual Dual Tone, driven around 5000 kms till now. This involves approx. 80-85% driving on mountains including spiti circuit. I found the Jimny till now a very CAPABLE + COMPACT + 4x4 + SUV. It costed me around 13 Lakh after discount and its very decent price for the kind of vehicle you are getting.

Maruti should launch ignis AWD, in hp and utrrakhand...it will sell like hot cakes among all. Even cab.
I move a lot in hp and trust me most cabbies will buy it. Even for private use. They should launch ignis internaitonal variant AWD. ZETA manual for 8 lacs. Alpha manual 9 lacs. Not automatic. And keep the same current ignis smooth gearbox unlike the jimny manual gearbox which is worse than even a gypsy feel(ive driven both).
Well, that's interesting and good point you made. The issue is such automobile makers won't work for peanuts and bulk sale and high margin is the key. Setting up Ignis All Grip Auto for India like launching a new vehicle in terms of upfront cost because of manufacturing, launching formalities, many unknown/known reasons especially when a car comes in category of AWD. Least likely a case here but should be a welcome move for many but not for the majority.
I have been driving Jimny since Gen2, some hands on GEN3 (not in India), now Gen4 so don't have gearbox related complaints much especially MT probably because of fact what to expect.

Coming to ignis. Well maruti doesn't have to spend on R&D to develop the ignis awd. It's already there. It just needs to be introduced in the market as a pocket mountain goat and it will succeed I feel. If people can be fooled to buy compact sedans and compact suvs and micro suvs then a do it all ignis can also succeed. Just my thought.

@kristrails07 My friend, yes gear box is bit of harder side and most of BOF vehicle have this in this price range when we compare it with sedans or hatchbacks but it get smoother with few thousands kms of drive.
Well, most European countries have this Ignis AWD and it is not about R&D, if they bring as is then it will answer import even if it only AWD system but not fully car and also if they have manufacturer it here completely then have to establish robotics and CNC according which a very costly affair apart from other heavy duty formalities, permissions, approval, register to sale 4wd version which will get registered in category of 4x4 where govt put heavy duties. It is not that simple considering a poor ROI. And hope you understand this.

Also add high altitude braking issue which is a life taking thing, unfortunately customer are not putting enough efforts to bend MSIL arrogance towards those issues. If there will be a serious damage then probably someone go to the lawsuit as a reactive action. It is not MSIL fault but inability of customer to get those fix and I am also part of that crowd but I did all exhausted mail trails and discussion with them. Let's hope for the best for everyone.
to the jimmy community i have a question, does the steering feel hard or it is just mine? i have to use both hand for turning hard turn.. i cant simply glide the steering wheel with one hand.. and the temperature sign (like anchor) on board keep lid on (blue) for long time at first engine start of a day.. is it normal..? i have talk at service centre but they say/clueless nature that everything is normal.
Well my friend, welcome to JIMNY COOKBOOK SERIES.
If most of the time you drive a hatchback or sedan before then the complaint about the steering is not wrong. Normally, such vehicles have heavier steering and that is quite intentional. Some are little and some are little more harder. You probably get used to it soon. If after the ignition steering relaxed much more smoother than the vehicle is in off state then the steering should be fine.
Secondly, the blue christmas light on the cluster in the morning 😊, that's normal in winter ❄️ which simply says that engine is in cold state and take some precautions. After 2-3 kms, sooner or later, it goes off when the engine reaches the optimal temperature.

Aha, that's painful. Actually, you are visiting the dumb people who neither listen to Suzuki nor to you. Try some other, Nexa Service center not arena. If no Nexa service center nearby then tell them to fix this issue and get that checked internally. All newspapers and social media are full of this information. Please revert for any further help Sandy Sahab! 😊👍

Nope, at least not sooner. almost the entire Europe is enjoying it. The market is not that matured to pay extra here. I am not saying people don't have knowledge but the majority don't need that or are not mature enough to adapt with. Suzuki has to work very hard on this because these will also not be cheap.
But this is a good question, Suzuki has started similar from Grand Vitara as you know.

Majority of indian customers allgrip/4x4 is not an usecase except in hilly terrains with minimum. Due to Europe weather conditions, they prefer allgrip
That's all that it leads to maturity about a product in a particular market. India is not a prime 4x4 market.

Is it uncomfortable for family and bad on milage ?
Well, for comforts, take a long or multiple demo with family.
For mileage, it definitely can't compete it with hatchbacks and seadan but it has a best mileage amoung any 4x4 petrol vehicle available globally in BOF segment.
On highway if you don't overspeed, it is easy peasy 14kmpl. Cities anything around 12-13 with light foot. What else?

Punch has a water wading depth of 375mm. Although punch is 2wd and has enough of mfg defects and fit and finish issues.
But this is just for knowledge comparison.
Just think about if a car like a punch has 370mm of water wading capacity, why is Jimny is having just 300mm written in specs. Here Suzuki played smartly to keep it lower so people can't claim such things under warranty. Practically, Jimny can cross even more than 500mm with the right set of 4x4 breathers. If you get a chance please watch the Jimny water wading video.

Wonderful presentation. Most of the issues in JIMNY (Like slow pick up, turning radius issue)are acceptable but Breaking issue at high altitude and Propellar shaft issue are not acceptable. Suzuki by not coming clear on these latter issues is shooting itself in the foot.

And absolutely, high altitude braking and propshaft are two most serious concerns that should have been fixed by Suzuki. But for this every single individual has to report the issue instead of looking at each other's faces or doing workaround after market, I report these already.
Slow pick is a matter of indifference to only those who live closer to or in the hills itself. Ask a potential buyers from the plains & all they ask for is pickup. I must feel comfortable enough to drive the vehicle to hills from long distance in the plains to enjoy its capabilities. Just because it is a headturner doesnot mean we should go for it ignoring its shortcomings...
Unfortunately, this is not the understanding with many people who drive it in plains and enjoy it. A very subjective concern but I have no reason to disregard this concern for yourself.
@@MashofreaksAuto i think that's where both thars succeeded in marketing. They knew hardcore offroaders were happy with the old generation raw thars we saw in deserts. They didn't care about creature comforts. Starting from the 3door they tried to focus on the best of both worlds - mass market as well as off roading enthusiasts . They rectified the shortcomings in the 3door and made it even more lifestyle than it was ever before.
Please keep in mind, only 60000 units of first generation Thars were sold in 8-9 years of time span. Now such sales come in 1 year with Gen2. Such products take time to get matured in the market to get these sold in the right set of people, it is not Jimny's fault but Suzuki marketing failed to establish it in phase 1.

Had they named it Gypsy Mark II for the Indian market, it would have taken care of the marketing. And, at a more realistic price. It's a do-it-all package to which customers will warm up to slowly but surely.
Suzuki dropped the name Gypsy long ago. Globally they used different names even for Gypsy.

@Khanna009 Honda WRV is not a very feature rich car but this is an awesome vehicle and if that fairly new then listen to your heart ❤️ because sometimes listening to your heart for good is for the family only. Also slowly your family also starts liking it and trust me they will enjoy the rides in hills or other terrains with high sitting positioning with the panoramic views. You may seriously go for Jimny if you are good with all its limitations and normally every car has some.

They shouldn’t have launched under brand Maruti , zero dna of SuV and brand building . Maruti means Majboori . So they have Poor Management . Had Suzuki launched this under Toyota , it would have been better fit for market . I am not only blaming Maruti as brand but pointing to the fact that they have incapable management to handle good cars . They failed Jimny now and diluted it badly , hurting it global reputation . Same things they did with esteem and sx4 and even to an extent to kizakshi
Echo with you. I told them in one of the roadshows that Kizakshi is not going to succeed because they placed it against the Honda Accord at that time and finally less than 100 units sold in India.

Pricing of the jimny in india has been decided by the customer s not the company.😂😂😂😂....but just imagine what kind of profits the car manufacturers make and on top of the the government looting us with heaviest taxes while purchasing cars.ultimately the customer looses in india wherin you gift the government a car whenever you buy one for yourself.overall this is a great car at with the present discounts.
Mate, you raised a very serious concern with a smile and I echo in context of price control and heavy taxes. Maybe a vehicle of 14 lac on road one is paying almost 5-6 lacs only in direct or indirect taxes, reg fees and all that stuff and also with such discounts the manufacturer gets peanuts considering heavy investments.

All issue's you are speaking is of safety and related to engineering, what else required, you may don't mind on money, but most of the guys hard earnings may not be go to second.
I can completely understand what you are coming from and it is equally hard earned money we all have but no comparison.
The overall objective of the video is to give clarity but not to sell Jimny. Many are confused with a few uncertainties and definitely you should not buy it if you are not convinced with it! I clearly mentioned this in the video that you should buy the car which you like and unfortunately you will not find any car in the market without issues. That's different thing you are not aware about beforehand.

Hmnn, Rohit sahab I can understand. 4-speed TC is actually a limitation to deliver a good push beyond 80-90 kmph. Otherwise I don't see any other reason to reject. BTW, Jimny in reality is a decent highway car as well apart from its great off-road capability but it is surely not a cruiser.

My friend, thanks for your comment, honestly I do not compare these personally. But yes fully support your statement of Jimny Rise in India. People normally forget every such vehicle had struggled. Thar Gen 1 took almost 9 years to get sold 60000 units. Gypsy was also not hit at day one. But all these are loveable like Jimny.

Absolutely 👍, especially later experimenting with pricing and playing with the emotions of people but unfortunately they become too arrogant and didn't perform a better market analysis for right pricing instead of listening to automobile journalists for the pricing and virtually Suzuki tried to place it against Thar in terms of pricing. Very bad show SUZUKI.

@MashofreaksAuto I m from Uttarakhand and live in quite rural mountains so needed a 4x4. So I went to test drive jimny in Dehradun because of my visit here. And it felt very stiff and rugged definitely not a good pick for long distances for both drivers and passengers. Coming to power specs maybe because I tested 3xo the same day I felt it to be underpowered. Plus backseat is only comfortable for 2 people there is no room for 3rd person and also no boot space. Although I loved the design and upright stance but was not very pleased with stiffness and power delivery of the throttle.
Right, I completely understand and I am with you. And I am also from a typical rural area so I got you. Actually, among BOF vehicles Jimny is comparatively far comfortable within this price segment but certainly can't compete with the comforts of monocoque which are mostly for long drives as you explained as well. But it is like a king for bad roads. Thanks for your contribution to the forum which is certainly valuable. 😊👍🎉
