I personally love the greatest hits catalog. I look at it as a part of PlayStation history. I remember the PS1 had long boxes, jewel cases and greatest hits in jewel cases. They later came out with the collectors edition bundles. I try to keep a few greatest hits in my collection, along with a steel book here and there. Great video man! Not many people that actually ENJOY collecting greatest hits versions.
Atv Offroad Fury 2, Crash Nitro Kart, Conflict Desert Storm, Onimiusha 2, Socom 2, NBA 2K2, Tekken 5 and Virtua Fighter 4 are my childhood right there 💯👌
glad you finish the collection. anyway if you want i think its a good option for you to try to get every platinum range game on ps2, Europe got games that didn't got greatest hits like dead or alive 2, metal gear solid 3 and crash twinsanity.
I’m curious which greatest hits are the superior versions to the black label ps2 games. I know some of these had extra content for example. I would really appreciate a list. That would be really helpful.
Greatest hits castlevania symphoney ps1 was cheap way to get the game bought them at Costco back in the day sold many at Portland retro convention. I love greatest hits variants I sold John Hancock Genesis greatest hits game lol I think Ecco jr even neo geo Aes and Saturn Japan had greatest love your videos super informative.

I was wondering who decided what a “Greatest Hit” was? Was it based on sales, ratings, or was there a package deals to publishers from Sony to get more printed at a discount? I find it interesting all the kids animated movie games are greatest hits, but I don’t remember anybody playing or talking about any of them.
I'm currently doing this! At 130 right now, just got Shrek the Third. Do you have a list? There are some I can't confirm the existence of - 24: The Game and Dynasty Warriors 4 : Empires. These are on the wiki but can't find them anywhere. Empires was an expansion of the 4th game, not sure if it actually got a red label and disc.
Did you pass on any because the discs was a mess? I find so many games that I pass on because of the disc. I don’t know what people are doing with their discs.

Those Dave Mirra games I believe came out in the early 2000's at which time Crave purchased the rights to some of the struggling Acclaim properties 😢
