You ladies will probably never know how many of us you have inspired to try out different looks, play with makeup, have fun, embrace our flaws/differences/quirks, and not take anything so seriously. This is a great example: modern 60's = GORGEOUS. Thank you as ALWAYS for your wonderful tutorials and all the time it takes to make them. I know you have fun but the haters/trolls have gotta get you down sometimes. XXOO Much love from Canada :) And happy EARLY BDAY NIC!
Nic and Sam, this is Your channel and you have earned every right to show your heart felt support of those less fortunate and suffering at this difficult time. Good for you, for having love in your heart and not being afraid to show it.
My fave make-up look! Very Valley of the Dolls!! Get Tanya, Sam and Mama Chapman to record their 60's make up if they do it for Sam's birthday. Sam's blue Estee Lauder tutorial last week was very 60s I thought. Best wishes to you. Jen x
I actually found a buch of my grandmothers old Vouge magazines from the 60's the other day so I'm very into the 60's look at the moment. Love this look, and the hair too!
i can say i'm addicted to your videos..seriously. i have to admit i got a little bit bored of other tutorials....or maybe gurus have lost some of their inspiration..but with you, I just need to click play and 10/15 minutes of pure pleasure are garanteed. your ideas and your talent make your channel special
You girls are simply amazing! You are genius makeup artists and wonderful humanitarians. By trade, I am an elementary school teacher, but I am a freelance makeup artist and worked for Estee Lauder the past 4 years at Bloomingdales. You have taught me so much. THANK YOU!
I just love, love, love your hair cut length. It suits you so well. This makeup look is super sexy and super glam without being to out there. Keep up the good work on your quality videos.
Ah! The 60s! If only we'd had youtube back then! I used to do my eyes like this - my gran used to say they looked like "Pee hole in snow" !! So many mistakes we made with makeup! We relied on watching someone like Lulu on the tele (who used to do her eyes with the line in the socket & because she has such gorgeous eyes, it looked wonderful!) Your eyes in this tutorial are gorgeous - I wish I could go back 30 yrs & do it again!
I used to blog regularly for a big website and it always killed me when I had negative feedback. I've been watching you ladies for a year now and I am so inspired with how you cope with negativity. I just wanted to let you ladies know I love your work, I am inspired by your veracity and genuineness, and thank you for making my days a little bit brighter. This look (like all of them - even the avante garde) is amazing! I'll watch you always
Absolutely brilliant. I love especially how the eyes look when looking downward, like when Nic was contouring through the cheekbones, temple, and jawbone. Beautiful look, and I'm quite psyched about copying this look. Thank you, Nic!
You and your sister are wonderful. Love this tutorial! Even more importantly, love the the fact that you are using your widespread popularity for a great cause. You took advantage of your position to voice a positive message and that is truly rare. G-d bless you both.
I absolutley love this look on you... It's funny you look just like my mother in one of her photos and it's not a bad thing...I love the look of the 60s and I often take inspiration by looking at photos of my mother during this period. I'm 37 and I think it is quite a timeless look that suits all ages. Well done
omg. i love and am absolutely obsessed with the 60's. i love make up. i love using rollers for my hair. i love you and sam. soooo......this is my FAVORITE video of all time!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you are so beautiful and talented!!!! i always dress myself up to look like im living in the 60's, and this tutorial has helped me greatly!!! i love you!!! xxx
The 40s & 50s are my personal favorites, but I simply adore this strong 60s cat-eye!!! Wow, this really suits you... Another great look!!! And the hair is good too :)
Thanks for this tutorial. I don't know why but I have always loved the 60s. I think the makeup looks great on you and love how you have completed the look with a headband.
Awesome, beautiful, elegant, amazing !!! Well done. Thank you so much for doing this look... I love the 60's as well and I can't wait to give this look a go!!
Out of all the videos you have done I really think this is my fav!! I LOVED it. The look if FAB!! I'll be doing this over the weekend on my date night! Thanks sooo much!
I, too, fancy the 60s look. It is so classic. I absolutely love your haircut. I have very fine hair that looks best no longer than shoulder length with lots of layers & fringe. I have a high forehead, so I have worn bangs since I was a little girl. When my hair grows longer, it falls flat & limp. Nic, does your hair fall flat when you wear it longer? is your hair fine? This cut makes your hair look so bouncy, lush and stylish! I am going to show this vid to my stylist for reference.
I am in awe of your talent, I dont know if these are old videos but your are beautiful young girl who facial featrues are gorgeous!!!! I have no words, you have God given talent!!!!
I just love how your makeup looks always have some stylish twist to them :) your always thinking outside the box and making the most simple looks unique and the most dramatic looks wearable- keep up the great work! xx
Twiggy/Loren mix... Absolutely fab as always..... You two are so blessed with your skin and out of this world hair.... I wish i could do a extended liner... my eyes are kind of deep set, on the sides as well and that makes it sooo hard.... and somehow deeper set as i age.... But gorgeous as always girls:)) The best)
You have such great talent at makeup. How do you look different every time? I look the same no matter what I put on. Kudos to you. You are just so good!
I absolutely love this look on you, it suits you well. I have a photo shoot next weekend and am doing a 60's theme so this is very helpful. Thank you, x
@marinavor I would say maybe a black smokey eye and a nude lip..... i would like to say something more fun but i think thats the look people mostly go for now xx
I've tried the 60's look several times but can never manage to pull it off right. Maybe this more modern version will work better for me! It looks absolutely gorgeous on you!
@tinks007 I really like it!!!! i really don't know which i like most i would maybe say the Chanel as the coverage is a little lighter.......but both fantastic foundations x
I thought I would hate this look when I saw you put liner in your crease but oh my word it looks fabulous!! I perhaps need to get over my fear of a dark crease. You look like Sophia Loren - Gorgeous!!!
I love your colour choices (and technique of course) I've always tried to do an updated mod make-up look with the standard colours but it always looks like full-on and too dramatic for day.
@Shicurls It normally comes form history!!! If you look at any shoot in a magazine it will have a ear that it is inspired from but with a twist 60's is used so much at the moment..... If you think back to Diors recent shots the inspiration was 20's. You will notice it all the time now. Thats way it is so important for a make up artist to know all the different looks though the ages. x
What an amazing look. I love it. Btw: Thank you for the tip with the concealer and a 244 brush. I always use this brush now, and the concealer looks so much more natural and not so thick...

This is one of the only "60s makeup" tutorials I've seen where you actually look like you've just stepped right out of the sixties.
I love it!
Gorgeous! I love the sixties and this is a perfect homage to that era!!! Thank you so much!
My fave make-up look! Very Valley of the Dolls!! Get Tanya, Sam and Mama Chapman to record their 60's make up if they do it for Sam's birthday. Sam's blue Estee Lauder tutorial last week was very 60s I thought. Best wishes to you. Jen x
i love this look, reminds me of my aunts weeding from the 60's....you girls can do no wrong....
I actually found a buch of my grandmothers old Vouge magazines from the 60's the other day so I'm very into the 60's look at the moment. Love this look, and the hair too!

This is such good 60s makeup. The eyeliner especially looks like one of the women on Batman & robin :) Great go!
Absolutely brilliant. I love especially how the eyes look when looking downward, like when Nic was contouring through the cheekbones, temple, and jawbone. Beautiful look, and I'm quite psyched about copying this look. Thank you, Nic!
