Love ❤️ this vid. I learned a trick years ago to get a really fluffy, puffy comforter. It is to double up the down comforters in one duvet! I’ve always loved how the beds in department stores and hotels have that very inviting cozy look and feel. Lol so I peeked inside the duvet cover and found 2 down comforters! I’ve been doing this ever since. Just an idea for what to do with the Potterbarn comforter.

Beautiful duvet cover! And love the front pillow so much. It suits the bed way better than the black and white pillows. And that throw is so cosy and looks perfect on your bed. Only not a fan of bed skirts in general. It is not something you see here in Europe. But the bed looks absolutely comfy.

What you are looking for is the down feather duvet inserts. They will have the sound and lofty hotel feel you are looking for. I got a really good one from Amazon a while back and it is the best I have ever had

This was a whole year ago- but I think if you keep the black pillows and change the throw to black and you’ll have a perfect balance between the tones😊
Was looking for the linen products from casaluna on yt. I bought the black heavyweight quilt since that matches my room best; and instead of 100$ + tax regularly at target I only paid less than half for it from an eBay seller claiming it was new. Looking forward to checking out the quality; I know from a quick visit to target and just feeling the linen blend quilts it feels gooooood. If this purchase doesn’t work out I might just pay target in full cos what I felt in the store was something i absolutely want to keep!
Andddd as for comforters I heard it’s flat so it can fit perfectly in the case when it’s gets shipped and stuff, but once you put it in the dryer it’s supposed to fluff up which I’d imagine you did to that other comforter you liked sm

I just purchased neutral pinstripe flax linen fabric to make a ruffled couch throw. The fabric has been pre-washed and feels amazing. I'm going to line the back with flannel. It was interesting to watch your assessment on the quality of the products. Your bed looks heavenly!

Hello thank you for the suggestion on the linen blend duvet from target. I like the Casaluna line of bed linens. I am wanting to get the quilt but I think the west elm may wash/last longer. I just want something linen and ver soft. Does the target duvet have a zipper closure?

is the potterybarn duvet that you have the classic down or premium down?
for the crisp you are wanting you will want to get 100% cotton with a high thread count. the higher the better and the higher the softer to. I got a 350$ Lincove full/queen 800 thread count down duvet insert (lifetime warranty), and it is wonderful. my bed sheets I try to get at least 200 to 400 thread count. The higher you go it gets expensive, but man does it feel like your sleeping wrapped in a cloud.

you are making the bed correctly with the soft shiny side down. when you fold it, the pretty side shows and when you sleep, the soft side is against you.

Thank you!! Here’s a link for the rug, I got the 6x9 but wish I’d gone with the 8x10. I’m still really happy with it though. It does shed a bit but I just go over it with my little vacuum and it really helps keep the shedding to a minimum.

I ended up going with the casaluna duvet cover and the casaluna insert. I know, there were so many options even I was losing track 😂😂

You should check out or buy a giant knit blanket. I saw another girl on youtube with it. Ive now seen them online. Its like the most beautiful blanket/throw for your bed. Seemed girly kind of so im not really wanting it, but its so perfect for your bed i think. The white one was the most gorgeous and its well, white like your bed. Maybe beige like that one you got.

I am going to ruin the target duvet or you, , I’m so sorry! Did you notice it is only linen on the front of all the pieces! Try the linen hm home duvet set! Same price! Wash it before you judge! It is linen on both sides.. hmm home’s washed cotton is great too! And their linen 20x20 and 22x22 Linen throw pillow covers are 12.99! And 16.99! CAN NOT BE BEAT!!

You’re buying down alternative.. you need actual down. The feathers are what causes the thing you like. Those alternatives may have that crunch but it doesn’t last at all. I may be a dude. But I know my bedding’s. Lol I love sheets, comforters hell I like towels. Lol. Real linen and sateen are the best.
Bobby I agree 100% w/you. If you like your bed linens that's all that matters, but you get what you pay for . . And it looks it. I purchased my second goose down, baffle box comforter just weeks ago, my first one lasted me over 15 yrs . .800 fill power. Lot of research before I bought. Know what to look for, same for sheets. I'm not wealthy by any means. . But when it comes to my bedding.. .I sleep like a queen
I’m not a bed skirt person.. I think it bothers me mostly because I can’t see the monsters under the bed. I love the color of the neutral one (the first one). I have to say I despise duvet covers… the never fit correctly, and you’re constantly having to rearrange the duvet inside the duvet cover..
I own those pillows and they are great! I have to say I have been disappointed by almost all my Amazon purchases in the past year.

The problem with amazon is the product is hundreds of miles away and well…. Sellers lie. Shopping at the store, you can see, feel, and smell the product and chose quality. The past decade or so, online shoppng sucks.
Casaluna is great but it’s no where near the best quality.
