- Today's episode is all about Bilawal and his stories about growing up and getting into music. A very humble and excellent musician and has made his way up in the mainstream industry.
You can hear him on the amazing Nescafe' Basement sessions and now the latest Karakoram Album (One of my favorite albums these days)
You can follow Bilawal on

This is such a great fan boy moment. Shout out to gumby for inviting such cool people over and showcasing them to the world. Bilawal is the most hardworking musician in the circuit and he's destined for greatness inshallah!
Inshallah!!!!
Played a few gigs with him without any jams and he made us sound like we were very well rehearsed. One of the finest drummers today. So good to see you two together!
Definitely a team player
Dil ki kasam is one of my favorite song. GUMBY played awesome in the song.

Thank you GUMBY once again. Much love.

I can see the joy on Bro Bilawal's face spending time with Bro Gumby.. He's such a talented drummer and one of the best young artist in Pakistan..
No doubt! He is one of the best and an integral part of the music fraternity
This channel is so under rated yar!!!! The quality of content gumby bahi is producing it should have 1 lakh subcribers with much much more views
Achi cheez mein time lagta hai bhai :)
I myself am learning to make the production value better.
I think it will grow over time
Met him at Karakoram's concert in Karachi. He's not only a talented musician but a humble guy as well.

Cool ❤️
Cool baby cool
What an incredible story! May Allah bless all the Pakistani musicians, you are a source of pride for Pakistanis. Gumby, this ARC initiative is a wonderful idea, keep sharing the Pakistani music scene with us. I must compliment you and your team for the quality of the production. Love hearing from the musicians who often end up being over shadowed by the singers. Also, would love to hear from FEMALE MUSICIANS, like the girls from Nescafe Basement or other unknown artist yet to be discovered. Best wishes!
Karokram Energy 🔥 man
No doubt!!!

Gumby Bhai Big Fan Of You. Please Start Teaching Drum To People From Beginning. It Will Help Out To Create New Icons Like You... Love You Bro... Please Take Care Of Yourself
I only give masterclasses and I don't have a commercial space to teach. Also, I think icons are born regardless of whether I teach beginner level or not
@@LouisJohnPintoGumby You Think Right Bro..🙏 Take Care
I have crushed my phone screen playing drums and learning technicalities, but being 24 I think I have missed the boat
It's never too late to learn anything
Great story ! Gumby bhai I have noted in a few episodes you mention that getting instruments in Pakistan is such an issue. I visit Pakistan twice a year so happy to help if you need anything. Not looking to make a buck just want to help.
I highly appreciate the offer Babar...
Musicians always need gear :)
Gumby thanks for putting up such a great show! I have been huge fan of yours since a very long time, please invite Meekal Hasan, Salman Ahmed (if possible), Shallum Xavier, Omran Shafique, Nabeel (Aaroh Guitarist), Faraz Anwar, i know its a long laundry list :)
Thank you so much Umair.
Unfortunately guitar players have their own issues and each time I've reached out, they either give an excuse or don't want to do a podcast
@@LouisJohnPintoGumby Then we would like to see new bands on your podcasts
@@hasanshah82 In due time
@@hasanshah82 Suggest a few bands
@@LouisJohnPintoGumby hahahaha. Karachi based...ummm ummmm actually there is none I can think of except AUJ. I can recommend some underground ones if you want me to
Bilo boy!
Bilo Rani
So good to watch him play. Invite Faraz Anwar please :)
Faraz has issues bro... I've tried to reach out to him several times and in the past he has said some pretty condescending things about me despite of helping him out in time of his need.
I prefer to have positive and musicians who will add value, so other can benefit and learn from them.
If you hear any of his interviews in the past you will know what I mean
@@LouisJohnPintoGumby I understand. All good brother. You both are equally an asset to our music but yes I know he has no filter :)
How about Charlie? He is fun
@@hasanshah82 It's one thing to have a filter and another to be plain negative. He is recognised in the industry despite of his niche style of music. He was featured in mainstream television shows and time after time he played and recorded for artists from mainstream. Yet he is ungrateful and speaks ill of everyone in the industry and then blames the audience that they don't support or appreciate him and his music.
It's sad that he is the way he is cause he's a great musician but with an unfortunate attitude
@@LouisJohnPintoGumby That is true.
Please invite Ziyaad Gulzar someday
That's a tough one!
