So true. I think that's why the duck went after all his siblings. He was so hurt by the way he was treated, he didn't want to spare any of them. Not even the one who felt guilty as an adult.
the mother is only to the blame. Her own perspective and treating others made her children act like this. Duckling's mental state was broken only because of the mother and her children that they learned that it is fine to bully someone. Parenting is mostly an issue when it comes to raise your childrens
While I agree with you about the mother swan being the root of the problem. I would be lying if I said that the siblings were entirely innocent. They could have looked for him at least once. But they didn't, not even the one who felt guilty as an adult. Just because you were raised a certain way, doesn't mean you should let it define you. Which is why it sucked when Silvia got killed too. She had learned that lesson when it was too late. He wouldn't listen to reason, or remorse. Not even to his own flesh and blood.

They turned him into a monster. He even seems to have abnormal abilities now. I will say one thing; that get back was epic.
The geese were saying some pretty concerning stuff, like calling him mutt and talking about purity of bloodline. Maybe it is for the better that they are gone.
So, the question about Silvie while being remorseful about their actions, I'd argue that they're still equally at fault because they didn't try to reach out prior, there's a reason why the saying when regarding bullying exists "if you see something, speak up" because choosing not to, choosing to blend in with the crowd, just makes you just as bad if not worse than the actual bullies, because you could have been the thing that kept the victim grounded, kept them sane.

What if this is the swan from the original story like passing down the drama she got from the ducks before thats why she is an ass to the duck like the old ducks that rise her were, this could explain why she is so prideful of her appearance as well.
The Cycle of Abuse as it seems even, a fun theory but at the same time devastatingly tragic that the Swan is becoming like one of them who bullied it before.
It's possible she attempted to, we just didn't see it. But ducky wasn't willing to talk anymore. And sure she regretted not speaking up in the past but that doesn't make her better. Basically if anything, she should have spoken up sooner.
that would explain why she was quick to be mean to the duckling holding resentment towards her original family for treating her so poorly that when she turned into a swan through her hatred she began to see ducks and ducklings as inferior and when she gave birth and when she saw that one of her children was a duckling she was blinded by hatred towards her own family that ironically she ended up doing the same thing her family did to her (that a really cool headcannon i like it)
I like The roles are swapped bc if yk from the main story the ugly duckling is a swan and has been living with ducks but in this one the duck was with the swans
I kinda felt bad for that one goose or swan (the mature one) she realized what they had done and regreted it but still ended up dying as regreting something from a while ago doesn't fix what you did...
To be fair, the mother was supposed to be the role model, so they thought it was okay to do that, but while it doesn't excuse what they did, at least she matured
@WispyBlueBricksGPX yeah because even though she matured it dosent excuse the fact that the mother goose was meant to be kind and caring its like telling a kid in a wheelchair to sand up
Plot twist: This is a continuation from the original story of "The Ugly Ducking". After the swan left, she still had the trauma from what had happened to her when she was a hatchling. And thus, she never forgave the Mama Duck and her duck siblings for what they did. So when she had her own family and a duck egg accidentally rolled into her nest, she immediately abused the little duckling; just as Mama Duck did to her. And so...the cycle of abuse continued...😔
You keep bringing up the hands but i think what keeps escaping your grasp (lol) is the fact that this story is not about actual ducks or swans. This is about a child and their family. The numbers at the beginning is confirmed to be a childs school ID by the creator, which implies that the child that made this, is also the duckling, and are making this as a vent piece because of how their family treats them. This is either a telling of the childs story, or a piece made by the child of what they wish they could do to their family
Yeah, it's really interesting how all the ducks are swans as well in this retelling (from what I remember of the original story, the "ugly duckling" was the only one who was a Swan?), and also some of the comments the swans make about the duckling, comparing his (yellow) coat to dirt? Makes you wonder...
@somrone9236 oh yeah absolutely! The original story of the ugly duckling was a story of a swan baby who was misplaced into a ducks nest, and grew up surrounded by ducks. Duck babies are rather cute, but swan babies don't really look the prettiest in comparison. But this version has it swapped, and with the added comments of a "pure bloodline" and certain comments on the ducklings appearance, it seems more that the child who was the "duckling" in this scenario was born into a high end family, and had some kind of feature that set them apart (different hair? Different skin color? A birth defect? Disabled? Who knows) which is what led to the ridiculing, and inevitably what drove the "duckling" to kill the others
@@SundaesSprinkle Considering the statement of "Shitty Feathers" and a few other comments, I'd suggest they had a different skincolour. Namely, because "Shitty Feathers" is decently close to a racial slur I've heard before.
random note: i do like how they made it so that all the swans had a noticeably different coat color, and colors the text of them the same color as their coats
Always funny how those who treat others horribly never expect any consequences.. and when it hits.. "its unfair" They are all to blame for how they acted, even if the mother is the catalyst. Duck never disserved that treatment. They got what they earned.
We should make a what if series and take analog horror and do what if episodes for example what if the mother swan treated the ducking with love? And stuff like that
Lesson learned “sometimes it even takes walking away for a monster to form” the mother never spoke up never taught her children’s respect in the end the one child she saw as nothing becomes the monster she taught was nothing
Silvie definitely didn’t deserve it, since she was the only one who felt bad about the past and wished they didn’t bully the duckling. But with these horror stories and her being apart of the bullying fiasco, it was inevitable. Rip Silvie😔
I blame the mother, while they were terrible to the duckling, they didn't know any better as they were just born, doesn't change what happened but at least one has remorse
Feeling bad doesn’t undo what you did or the fact you allowed it to happen. She could of looked for their duck sibling but didn’t. She’s just as bad as the rest! Allowing people to do bad things and putting no effort to do anything good is just as bad as those doing the bad things. You aren’t some hero for doing nothing. That was the point of Silvie and her dying..and despite feeling bad about they treated him she STILL called him ugly..😬
I think atleast sylvie should have gotten some slack as they genuinely had remorse but in that same case I could think of something much darker happening to them if that were the case tho 😢 this might've been the best case scenario all things considered, I mean the ideal scenario would be the siblings looking for the duckling and apologizing the moment they noticed he disappeared.
I was taught by my teacher that standing around watching someone get bullied was wrong I had to do a whole entire writing about it so technically Silvia is wrong although it’s understandable that she’s a child she couldn’t do much but get influence by their siblings and her mother
Interesting how they changed the birds up because in the original story the duckling was the mother and the siblings while the "ugly duckling" was a cygnet.
Unfortunately nobody even wants to respect anybody looking not exactly like them making traumas for the different ones, like me. I was bullied from second to fifth grade like the duckling and i finally started taking action. Which if you guess, fighting back. The Threatening ive taken multiple times i managed to pull off on them, showing HOW MUCH TIRED AM I OF THIS.
See the thing is, I can see this being realistic. After all, his brain did what it could to cope. And isolation (since he most likely stayed away from everyone in fear of more monsters) is also a big thing that helped him down this path. Since he probably couldn't sleep, eat, or think because of the monsters that he saw. And what's a big way to get rid of monsters? Killing them, since they had no other weaknesses that he knew. (For instance, kids will scare off the boogie man with light. They will have their parents check areas they can't readily see, because "The monsters won't hurt me if they see that I'm being protected.") So it's realistic that he thinks this is the only way to end the suffering.
As for your last questions, this is quite a complicated matter. A duckling psychologically abused by loved ones to such an extent that it gets rid of the entire family can be justified by trauma, loneliness, etc. Perhaps our victim should not have logged out of life because he had remorse, but perhaps the suffering and pain from childhood were not treated and this hatred was there all the time (from the beginning to the end of the story). But in this story, the real antagonist is the mother who had racist beliefs and shaped her children in such a way that they mostly became like simon with the beliefs that the mother had, and this duckling became a monster by the way it was treated (in short, the family treated him like garbage, he was the one who treated his "family" like garbage in adulthood and got rid of them )
I think we're looking at this all too literally. I think the story IS about a human child who was shunned by their family for whatever reason (I believe it was race related, maybe Mother Goose had an affair?), ran away, ended up growing up on the streets (Since if he grew up in an orphanage or somewhere similar, CPS or an equivalent would've probably gotten involved), then saw their siblings move into the area and recognised them, especially if they were talking about their childhood at the time, then kidnapped them and murdered them, and hid inside the house Simon had bought for a few years until their Mother came to visit?
Salvie's remorse wont make the situation any better, they were still torturing the duckling relentlessly until he finally left and became what they want him to be.
I feel like something that wasn’t taken account was the title screen, you can see that when the duck talks, there is a black block unlike the others and on the title when it turns red, it has the same text as when he talks. So, maybe he altered it somehow? The thing about the “by” is mother / you so does that mean that maybe the duck (probably based off a real person due to the human like hands) made this for there mother and we are seeing this off of the point of view of the mom? It’s horrible to actually think about what if the swans and ducks were actually humans. A short, bloody person wearing skin- hhhhhhh
The Saddest part is that Silvie, who grew to be real Mature and sympathetic and was thinking of the Duckling, was too late to apologize, perhaps her simple kindness could have saved them all, but alas, it was too late
Well, the way that I look at it the years of abuse the duck has suffered makes me feel a little bit Of empathy but it does not fully justifyies actions sylvie Wondered how the duckling was doing, but the duck no longer cared for anyone's opinion. He just wanted to be beautiful but nothing could stop him on his quest
I was honestly rooting for the duckling to get his revenge. Those swans deserved what they got for tormenting that poor duck for so long, especially when they didn’t want to look for him.
The ducklings did deserve but expect silvie the ugly duckling could have spared her for it because he was in the background watching and listening to them talking about him
I would love if gamersault created a latest uploads playlist where he just put all of his videos in it so i can stop manually clicking on the next video down the list and i can watch it to sleep

that would explain why she was quick to be mean to the duckling holding resentment towards her original family for treating her so poorly that when she turned into a swan through her hatred she began to see ducks and ducklings as inferior and when she gave birth and when she saw that one of her children was a duckling she was blinded by hatred towards her own family that ironically she ended up doing the same thing her family did to her (that a really cool headcannon i like it)
That is a brilliant headcannon.
He became what he hated the most. A monster. Poor guy.
I like The roles are swapped bc if yk
from the main story the ugly duckling
is a swan and has been living with ducks
but in this one the duck was with the swans
Yup very much
I kinda felt bad for that one goose or swan (the mature one) she realized what they had done and regreted it but still ended up dying as regreting something from a while ago doesn't fix what you did...
To be fair, the mother was supposed to be the role model, so they thought it was okay to do that, but while it doesn't excuse what they did, at least she matured
@WispyBlueBricksGPX yeah because even though she matured it dosent excuse the fact that the mother goose was meant to be kind and caring its like telling a kid in a wheelchair to sand up
moral of the story call someone a monster long enough and they become one
0:30 omg thank you for mentioning my comment. I have been following you since 2022. Thank you for reviewing the analog horror video ❤
Plot twist:
This is a continuation from the original story of "The Ugly Ducking".
And so...the cycle of abuse continued...😔
one of my fav analogs. glad someone's finally doing an analysis
Never thought I'd see you cover this. One of my favorite analog horrors
@@dudeguy1049 that's kinda what I was thinking too! Like maybe they're the youngest and came from an affair??
This is a good case of “villains aren’t born but made”
The Swans were jealous that The Duckling actually has the sexiest pair of hands that surpasses their coats
I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH, it deserves more episodes
random note: i do like how they made it so that all the swans had a noticeably different coat color, and colors the text of them the same color as their coats
And stuff like that
“Villains are not born, *they are made* .”
Lesson learned “sometimes it even takes walking away for a monster to form” the mother never spoke up never taught her children’s respect in the end the one child she saw as nothing becomes the monster she taught was nothing
10:00 painter from castle crashers
If I was in that story, I would take care of the poor little duckling, raise him well, and would NEVER do anything to hurt his feelings.
@ You make a fair point🤔
I think atleast sylvie should have gotten some slack as they genuinely had remorse but in that same case I could think of something much darker happening to them if that were the case tho 😢 this might've been the best case scenario all things considered, I mean the ideal scenario would be the siblings looking for the duckling and apologizing the moment they noticed he disappeared.
I was taught by my teacher that standing around watching someone get bullied was wrong I had to do a whole entire writing about it so technically Silvia is wrong although it’s understandable that she’s a child she couldn’t do much but get influence by their siblings and her mother
this is just how an animal sees a butcher
Damn bro, scared me with the thumbnail and first 10 seconds. It’s gonna be a good video
enjoy 😈
As for your last questions, this is quite a complicated matter. A duckling psychologically abused by loved ones to such an extent that it gets rid of the entire family can be justified by trauma, loneliness, etc. Perhaps our victim should not have logged out of life because he had remorse, but perhaps the suffering and pain from childhood were not treated and this hatred was there all the time (from the beginning to the end of the story). But in this story, the real antagonist is the mother who had racist beliefs and shaped her children in such a way that they mostly became like simon with the beliefs that the mother had, and this duckling became a monster by the way it was treated (in short, the family treated him like garbage, he was the one who treated his "family" like garbage in adulthood and got rid of them )
The story that traumatized children 💀💀💀💀
This story was very sad and at the same time, scary
Treat others the way you want to be treated because you never know what they are capable of
Ah ha, I knew I was missing an obvious moral! It was on the tip of my tongue... Better than my beauty is only skin deep one.
A classic story, wholesome family fun
bro started his own villain arc
I wish Silvie was spared
oh boi I sure wonder if this analog horror is going to represent some actual irl problems like some other creepypastas and analog horrors
Those swans deserved what they got for tormenting that poor duck for so long, especially when they didn’t want to look for him.
hey man ive been a fan since the granny theory hope you have a good day
0:06 This is just my childhood in a nutshell ;-;
He should have at least spared Slyvie.
The ducklings did deserve but expect silvie the ugly duckling could have spared her for it because he was in the background watching and listening to them talking about him
Poking some bears, and you got a last day to life.
Reasonable crashout
I would love if gamersault created a latest uploads playlist where he just put all of his videos in it so i can stop manually clicking on the next video down the list and i can watch it to sleep
I personally think that they’re not literally ducks and swans. They’re just shown that way.
Thats the point.
this duckling was mad evil but i cant say that some of it makes seens but killing them is to far good (Analog Horror) i like the walten files and this gives me the same vibe
You can not convince me that purple duck in the thumbnail wasn't made with a boykisser reference image
0:19 THE FUCK HE JUST TURNED INTO THE PAINTER
Remorse doesn’t do shit when you’ve been abused for years and then basically abandoned
"Sometimes the bullies can be the demons and monsters but when they treat people like nothing but garbage and useless sometimes the bully never realize they created their horrifying demon that always never forget them and always haunt them forever until the end of time of no mercy or no forgivens sometimes people need to learn lessons that people go through lots of big times and now the ugly duckling is going through rough times by hearing these words and now they are crazy psychotic killer just like the real world that everyone was created because the people treat them nothing but useless in the past" Y'all get me right?
I feel bad that duck that ugly duck i feel bad about him! ;( Poor him...! Who feel bad for him?
👇
That thumbnail managed to give me a jumpscare.
How did you get your voice so high ? Good lord. 3:42
Once there was an ugly duckling. He was so ugly that everyone died. The End
The jumpscare didn’t scare me the first time I watched it
People that are hurt can hurt others, this story is a warning as to why you don't bully people to the point that they disappear because they could come back later and have revenge no matter how bad you feel, like Silvie. I believe that she deserved better, she would have been such a great parent
Watched it and literally jumped from my seat.
The story was focused on the duck who was swapped with the swan.
It's really interesting to me that this is a duckling among a family of swans, instead of the usual story of a baby swan among a family of ducks
0:24 "i eat kids"
Me too😀
