Yeah, totally agree. I don't have one and am trying to use a credit card to get mine open but it's not doing anything for me. I'm afraid that I may have to squeeze my hand through it to get it off... Hope that I don't break it but I've been wearing it for two days and can't get it off.

Such a thoughtful video! As a newer Pandora owner, I super appreciate this. I have the heart clasp and it opens like a dream! You can lay it flat on its heart face so it doesn't play around while you put the end on, and the little tip of the heart definitely makes opening it an easy task. You always know from where to open it!

Thankyou Nichol, this video was very helpful indeed and even though I’ve been collecting for quite a few years now I’ve revisited these tips several times including today! Very interesting to know there was a lobster clasp. A while back I chose the limited edition flourishing hearts bangle for Mother’s Day and still struggle to close and open that one by myself thus tend not to wear it often. I was just given a clasp opener with my 2nd bracelet. I was just using my finger nails and never thought anything of it. Your video is so helpful. Thank you for taking the time. I think that Pandora should require their staff to explain how to open their jewelry to new customers. They should not let customers leave the store without at least a hands-on tutorial.
My husband just bought me a bracelet and it wasn't cheap!! The bracelet was over $300!! They didn't show him how to open it so I had zero idea on what I was doing. They really should give every purpose a clasp opener.

I love these basic tips videos! :D I only have a string bracelet, heart clasp regular bracelet, and one regular silver bangle with a pretty star on the clasp. I honestly did not even know all of these other types even existed!! :) My first silver bracelet is just about full, so now I have been moving on to adding more charms to my bangle. Do you think maybe you can please make a video about tips and ideas to style the bangles? Thank you always for your lovely videos; they really brighten my day! :)

I’m sitting here at Port Orleans Riverside in Walt Disney World with my brand new Pandora bracelet with the Disney Cinderella Castle Clasp. I wasn’t getting it open with my thumbnail. Thanks for this video. I got it open with a credit card. Yea! I bought a 7.1 Bracelet and just two charms to finish out this bracelet: A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes and the Regal Heart. The Bracelet is centered with Cinderella’s Coach, has Mickey and Minnie clasps with cz’s, a Prince and Princess, and for their respective home castles, the newest Pandora one and Disney Cinderella Castle. Then there are three pairs of charms and a safety chain with purple cz’s or crystals. Lovely memento of my current visit to WDW.

I just got my Lobster clasp, and let me tell you. I love it. I have no fear that the clasp will randomly open. I have gotten used to lobster clasps from Tiffany's. I agree, it is a little harder to fasten, but the added assurance of the bracelet not randomly opening, like the barrel clasp, is worth it to me.

Great video and I think this type of content is super helpful to new Pandora owners and a great overview for those of us who purchase a new type of bracelet. Hmmm, I think you need to purchase one of the newer Padlock lock-closure bracelets...purely for research purposes, of course!!!! Also, I don't believe you have milk bags in America, but here in Canada I know some people use the milk bag closure to open their bracelets! haha! I have both Pandora openers and love the pure silver flower one with the CZ - so pretty and it's a little thinner so I find it easier to use. Also, I do have guitar picks on my dresser and in my purse - always good to have a spare on hand in case you need to take off a bracelet on the go, to keep in your Pandora travel case for holidays and trips, and/or you never know when you might find yourself picking up a new bracelet and you want to put it on straight away!!! ;) I also use the openers for the bracelet clips (charms)

These have helped me I tbi because I died so I found someone I remember and she sales them and I purchased them and each time I’ve purpose purchase them I regained lot of memory I’m not 100% sure this is why, but the progression is like off the charts and all been doing is buying these from her and it’s teaching me how to budget and everything she’s giving me time to be able to purchase them letting me know when it good and letting me know how to tell and I appreciate her so much I mean I really do and I’m going to try to find one to build for me after I figure out all these because I’ve got a lot of charms now they’re old school but I’m waiting for the one that I have purchased I’m still paying off and this one seems like so I would like to tell everyone if anyone has like brain engineering and they’re trying to remember things and the people get out those cards in the index cards will none of those help to me. I’ve got books stuff like that and I just took a turn where everybody’s like was there anything wrong with youand it’s been recent all I’ve been doing is going over these terms buying more so might be an example of a good idea that’s all I’m trying to say

THANK YOU! I wore the Pandora bracelet my parents gave me for college graduation out about two years ago and by the time I went to wear it again about a year or so later (it's HEAVY), none of us could figure out the clasp anymore! For some reason it wasn't until this morning I thought to myself, "You learned how to cut layers and side swept bangs on UA-cam during quarantine. UA-cam has videos on just about everything. Why not just look up how to undo the clasp?" Sure enough, I slipped the corner of my debit card into the slit of the heart and that thing popped right open. My mom is OVERJOYED (considering how much they spent on that bracelet with the charms).

I have the mesh bracelet and hats the clasp on it hence why I don’t wear it. It just sits in my jewelry box. I wore it on when the sale associate put it on me. Since then, I haven’t wore it. I like the barrel clasp. Going to get more bracelets with the barrel clasp. So much easier to put on and take off myself.
