But seriously Roti makers only work if you get the mixture right, most people make them too dry, mix should be on the sticky side compared to pan made roti, experiment until you get the preportions right then always make the same way, dont give up it takes a while to get right.
One can't let water get into it as there is electric heating coil inside. One can only wipe with wet or damp wet cloth or sponge. Observe caution if you are cleaning it when it's hot. Better to let it cool down a bit.
