@𝕡𝕩𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕝𝕤𝕜𝕪𝕤 Stallone released a director's cut of Rocky IV a year or so ago. On youtube there is footage of him during the editing process-- he was being followed by a journalist. That's where Stallone said that he was basically too vain back in 1985 and he tried to dial that back in the director's cut.

Yes, definitely. Still there is a song which is in the soundtrack, but doesn't get played at any point in the movie, that's "Sweetest victory" by Touch. That's such a shame, because it's a great song just like all the others. I can't even see a reason why it is included in the soundtrack record, but not played in the movie.

Because apollo is rockys only opponent ( besides Mason dixon) that stepped to him like a man. Clubbers, drago, and Tommy all purposely wanted to just hurt him. With Apollo it was a test of warriors . It's why Apollo never hated him for losing like drago. He was disappointed in himself which is why he retired after rocky 2 but he never hated rocky. Its why he was so disappointed in 3. He never wanted the man that beat him to lose to someone like clubbers ( who Apollo would have annihilated )

Or or the jokes that Rocky tells his son Robert? Or the fact that Sylvester Stallone’s real son played Rocky’s son in the film. Or when Tommy knocks down, Polly, and Polly said you should’ve left them in the street where you found him, and Rocky gets up and says you’re knocked him down now Why don’t you try knocking me down now? In Rocky says his ring is outside. I love this line. Tommy gun says I’m not gonna knock you out this time. I’m gonna put you through the street , And then Rocky proceeds to beat Tommy Morrison in a street fight. I don’t know Tommy Morrison is one one of my favorite fighters and he did what I would like to do he played himself in a film. He was the bad ass in real life that he was in that film. And when I see him taking photos with all the other heavyweight champions of the world, always think of him as the most famous because he is literally the Tommy the Machine Gunn. If I was Tommy Morrison and a fan asked me about where is Rocky Balboa at and when was the last time I talk to him I would just play the character and say he’s in Philadelphia or maybe he’s traveling here or there and he’s with his son and his grandson and they’re just vacationing and he will see them in a week when they get back. I would never involve anyone else though unless like somebody wanted to play along for a little bit. Like if I was Tommy, I would call ups Sly and say yo Rocky this is Tommy Gunn Hey, I have this fan of yours he wants to say hello.
