Exo are literally vocal kings so it's hard to get genuinely good covers on their songs. Xdinary Heroes' Love Me Right cover is one of the best cover I've seen that do justice to Exo whilst still keeping their own flavor in the song. ❤
I don't stan Stray Kids but it's really awesome that a lot of Stays are also Villains! Villains are genuinely some of the most supportive fans I've seen since I started liking kpop several years ago. In general, they try to stay away from fan wars and toxicity. Of course, I'm not on every corner of the internet so I can't say for sure. But I see a lot of Villains that are multistans, more often than fans of other groups. The Hellevator cover is ICONIC, and even reached a lot of rock/metal fans who didn't really fw the original. I love that we open with Gunil. His vocals are rare but opening with him is even rarer. Ode and Gaon rapping is phenomenal, Jooyeon and Jungsu vocals are stunning, and Junhan's solo 😍😍😍😍

stray kids are my ult too (surprise!) and when their hellevator cover came out, i kid you not everyone and their mothers have tagged and messaged me about it LMAO i was never the same person since... watching channie's room with him reacting to their cover too oh it was such a blessed time
My bff is a Stay and I've listen to a few SKZ songs and then I found out XH did a cover of the song so I immediately messaged my bff and fangirl over XH as I fell in love with their version. As you said, the cover made me love the song more. It's fun to watch Chan's reaction too~ Hellevator Junhan guitar solo is one of my favorite out there. I saw it when I'm just a baby villain and it made me fall in love harder again with him. I've repeated it gazillion times.

Anyways, seeing my other favorite artist Xdinary Heroes perform 'Love Me Right' from my EXO got me so thrilled and shook to the core. I can say that XH cover of LMR is one of the best that I've heard so far. LMR is a funky fun dance song. They arranged it really well XH style. The vocals too are on point! They gave the song justice! Bonus knowing that Jungsu's a fan of Baekhyun from EXO too 😭
