Sorry it took me a couple of days to work on this video, went back to work this week after holidays and there was a lot of editing involved time-wise, not to mention copyrights issue it had... but it's here - I really appreciate you watching!!
Jinx's line "I'm glad it's you, it had to be you." is imo towards Vander or at least in his presence with Vi together. I am excited to find out which theory is right ^^. As for the Jinx shot with the hood and "new" hair colors I believe she does not hold a gun but a control wheel of an airship - Powder said in ep1 S1 "and one day, I'm gonna ride in of of those things" - I think this is the fullfillment of that promise.
It should be noted, when Vi says "I'm ready", that dialogue is taken from a different shot and placed over top the one we see with Vi. You can see just as the shot is fading in that Vi's lips are already speaking but the lip sync is completely off. So they're misdirecting the context there. The visuals and dialogue are from separate scenes. The close up shot, and the soft/shallow depth of field makes the scene feel very intimate in my mind, and I think this is a later scene where Vi might be talking to either (likely) Caitlyn or maybe Ekko. But the actual dialogue is something else. I actually think Caitlyn and Ambessa having some interactions is more likely than the trailer lets on. I think there are some interesting parallels and themes that can be explored with that kind of pairing.
Based on the trailer, I think a reasonable prediction for Jinx's arc this season is that in act 1, immediately after the events of the finale she is incredibly emotional and angry and goes on a streak of random destruction. Not caring who she hurts on Piltover's side, or who gets hurt in the undercity when the enforcers retaliate. She just wants to "watch it all burn" But starting in act 2, after a short time skip, she calms down a bit and slowly comes to believe Sevika and the people of the undercity when they tell her she could become a hero, and starts actively trying to use her abilities to protect the people there and earn Zaun's independence And this arc ultimately leads to her being willing to team up with Ekko and Vi to protect the two cities against Noxus. So when she shows up in the shark hoodie, she's actually appearing as an ally and that's why Caitlyn is so confused looking up at her
@Silberfisch62_Xbox See, I think it's going to be more of a bittersweet ending, where Vi and Jinx work together briefly and have a heartfelt moment of forgiveness, but then they agree that as much as they might love each other they can never be a family again. They bring out the worst in each other, and it's just not healthy to be together anymore. This is one of those things they need to leave behind in order to move forward, like Ekko said So Zaun gets its independence, and there's a tentative peace between them and Piltover but still very tense and distrustful. Vi is now seen as a traitor by much of Zaun, so she moves to Piltover permanently, and Jinx is still a wanted criminal in Piltover, so she can never cross the border from Zaun safely. So it's still sad, but both have a future and a chance at happiness in their respective cities
So much to think about in the 2 minutes knowing we see snippets from the beginning, middle and end. We just don’t know when these events will happen. I would really love to see a reunion between Vi and Caitlyn. It’s such a delicate balance when it comes to their relationship in the first season the way it developed. I know the creators had to decide how they will progress their relationship in season 2. I think there will be a happy moment, then betrayal, their paths going down a dark side for a while and then hopefully Caitlyn seeking to find Vi, bring her back and mend what they have. So many fans want to see a happy ending for them and I hope that the creators find a balance because there are too many F/F relationships that end badly. I can’t wait to see the alliance against Noxus and maybe fighting the arcane? Don’t know. This will be an intense season filled with angst, anger, darkness and hopefully light and love. Is it November yet??
@@littlebird007 I absolutely agree!! I hope they realise that so many lgbt fans are very tired of getting their relationships ruined or of the kill your gays trope - there's more at stake here than just being disappointed, it's literally about becoming part of the shift in culture that leads us to getting happy endings more often than every once in a while!
I love how when you said that the main thing in arcane is opposite sides coming together to fight against a common enemy, that totally could just be a metaphor for League of Legends the game: Dont fight among your team in Teamchat, bickering about pointless stuff…focus on working together to defeat the Other team. Its kinda funny!
What a video again! Totally worth the wait 👏 timing is confusing in the trailer but i think this video is giving us some navigation. I believe in this season we will see a lot of character at the edges... So excited 🫣 thank you for the video 💃
Sevika & Jinx had one thing in common. SILCO. For Sevika out of Loyalty and common goals with Silco for a Free Zaun, but for Jinx out of love for a Father figure. I can see the Undercity go into Chaos due to Silco being gone and the Chem Barons wanting to take up Silco's mantle. Like a bunch of Mafia Capos whose Boss has died, so fight amongst each other instead of focus on the real threat, I can see them see JINX as a threat and want to collect on Jinx's Bounty. Noticed there is an hourglass in place of an X on Jinx's WANTED Poster. Some foreshadowing perhaps?. Anyhow I can see Sevika side with Jinx out of Loyalty to Silco knowing how important she was to him. Jinx also coming to an understanding with Sevika because she is the last connection to Silco. I think Jinx's whole "Watch it all burn" phase is when she still feels alone, just losing the only person to never put her down to on instinct protect her sister. That won't come back to bite her in the butt. Jinx does become a Symbol, so I think that will happen later on in the season when Jinx does not feel so alone anymore, someone convinces her to get involved for the sake of Zaun. The Reluctant Hero Arc, or the Han Solo treatment as I call it. What I am worried about is what causes her to change her look so much, The fact she ends up wearing a shark hoodie is interesting since in League of Legends Ekko has a Skin where he is wearing a shark hoodie. Jinx in the trailer ends up wearing green makeup along with her purple face paint that she used to wear while playing with Ekko when she was Powder. Is it to symbolize they made Peace with each other, or that they have but something tragic happens to Ekko, so it is a way for Jinx? to remember him by.Maybe Sevika dies & or Jinx's mini-me. Would ARCANE kill another cute kid?. I think in ACT III it will be Ambessa who will be the main villain not Jinx.
Actually, Jinx and Sevika did have one other thing in common: Vander! Jinx was raised by both Vander and Silco, and Sevika was a lieutenant to both Vander and Silco. It would be interesting to have the two of them end up becoming the middle ground between those two extremes. A team that fights for Zaun's independence like Silco but also cares about protecting the citizens of the undercity like Vander
@@aranthur you’re absolutely right I forgot about that connection that line in the trailer where Sevika, says your a symbol you could rally the underground. I can see her trying to convince Jinx, even though they don’t show us who she’s talking to. Because we know from the trailer, Jinx does become a symbol. And I can’t see Jinx be a villain in every ACT. I can see her struggle not having Vi & Silco anymore & so have that whole screw everyone attitude. Someone does convince her though. Whether it is Sevika or maybe Ekko is another thing. In the trailer the scene where It seems there are ppl with blue hair and a few others who look like Ekko’s ppl, thanking her. Jinx has that soft Powder like expression. It looks like a self realization moment was happening for her. As if she was not expecting gratitude from anybody let alone. Ekko’s ppl. perhaps that’s the moment when she gets convinced to be what Sevika was talking about. That expression Jinx had looked like it was meaningful.
With Zaun and Piltover I feel like the son of divorce parent...I just want them to fight together against Noxus haha...ALSO WHAT´S WRONG WITH ARCANE?!, why they love making Caitlyn EXLODE DUDE?
I have a theory that Jinx is missing for some reason during the timeskip where Vi goes all emo. Maybe she's in prison or injured badly enough to be in a coma or in hiding? But during that time Sevika has an impersonator or group of impersonators going around blowing stuff up and painting Jinx graffiti to keep her legend going, and that's who the hooded figure is
I think Jinx was simply not planning to survive her "final" encounter with Vi and Cait. After all she has lost everything and she has destroyed the future of her own people in that one fateful night at the end of season 1. Her saying "watch it all burn" seems to confirm this pretty much. So it makes sense that she would go of the grid with no further plans beyond going out with a bang.
think Jinx is viewed as Vander's "heir" hence the mural so its a knife to Vi's "gut". Like Jinx is the successful sibling now while Vi is now the one seen as the "failure" like powder was as Vi's help is like adding fuel to a fire. So Vi is also dealing with that. Like jinx gets the validation that she always wanted from everyone hell even from the Firelights of all people. The only person clearly not happy still is Vi which is the knife twist to Jinx. i don't think fighting noxus would suddenly reunite the citie's as thats a cheap way to fix the big problem. As thats going back to their relationship where it was purely transactional and that caused a war to happen. think Piltover will do a leap of faith action to try and sent things right first then noxus declares war.
The shot of Jinx in her fishbones hood is I think on a blimp. Sorry, airship ;) so she did get to fly one of those, as foreshadowed in her first words back in ep 1. Also, have you noticed that we were shown the colourful explosions all the way back in Get Jinxed video clip?

i love arcane youtube taking a 2 minute clip and making a 30 min - 2 hour video on it. this show has so many hidden details.

That would be so dope, but having heard the ending is supposed to be tragic and to cry for I fear it's not gonna be that optimistic 🥺

That video was beautiful I just love how much you grew into runterras lore community and how much knowledge you accually gained it’s incredible to see
Don't worry Ola don't apologize🥰 We appreciate all the hard work in everything you do for the community💞
Actually pretty solid analysis
06:38 The red clothed arm you see in the chair belongs to Councillor Salo

Between (likely) failing to bring Jinx to justice and her encounter with Warwick, it's no wonder Vi's going to have an identity crisis this season.
22:40 it's not a gun.. it's obviously rudder wheel of airship/zeppelin...
Now we need to hunt for the hint in the new soundtrack, this is so much fun!
50/50 they make Vi and Caitlyn a thing. You know, that kinda thing.
But would they stay a thing until the end 😵
