Fact this song o santa is a remake of her song from 2010 off the 2010 second christmas album . Mariah resung the vocals added jennifer and ari she also vocal produced them . she wrote the song .
You need to check out the performance of Mariah 4 days before this was released. Her vocals are so smooth, she used more of a legatto technique because her agility is so much better thanks to the vocal rest. Is amazing. Please don't miss it. This is awesome, Mariah wrote, produced and remixed this song, so she placed each layer and decided where and how they would sing. You can tell by Ariana's singing style and JHuds restrain. It's beautiful, the 3 of them did an awesome job

This song just doesn't work as a Christmas carol. It's amazing the difference between Mariah's first, superior xmas album and her second, truly inferior xmas album.
It wasn't inferior, she brought in more R&B into the second album. Personally, the 2nd album is better than the first one!
