Second I found that my version is 2.0.4.1. Finally. I didn't find the option for version 12 and later on the page.

So what is the use of the DESMO reset??, I did everything already. this is just my question regarding the DESMO RESET. and also I just figured out that we can not set the interval on when we will be the next oil change to notify us again, is it just automatic per say 7k mileage now and you reset it, is it gonne be automatic we will have that service light again at 10k for another oil change?

I followed the exact same thing you did in this video, but my ELM is only stating setting up in the Melcodiag software. Did you have to download the drivers for the ELM327?

@@Okydmt Hi Thanks for the very quick reply. Mine was a Multistrada. I didn't restart PC but I did tried to restart the software a couple of times. Each time it can read the VIN from the bike but the service reset or even the DTC reset button is never clickable.

@@Okydmt so bit of a hiccup my bike has the umap from termi installed on it. The melcodiag software is displaying a warning to store the upmap so I don’t loose it before performing any resets. So what does this mean? If I reset the service interval is it going to unload my upmap?

Hello. Does your Panigale 959 has also a USB connector ?? Question: Ducati Diagnosis OBD2 Diagnosis plug ?? Does anyone know where EXACTLY the OBD2 connection of a Monster 1200S from 2018 is located? See only the USB connection in the rear part of the saddle. And under the saddle I do see a 4-pin connection, but it is occupied and it has a contra plug. If all goes well, there should be a 4-pin plug somewhere with a (closing) end cap. Or is the USB port used for the service reset and to read errors? thanks …… gr Lex

When I look at my port, it says the letters and numbers etc of the port, but at the end it says phased out since 2012. Also, when I click connect after selecting COM4 and Any Panigale 2013 and up, it doesn’t connect at all. The bike is on and I am using the OBDII V 1.5 with chip.
@@SantanaTheeGreat thats why I go in the device manager so I make sure where is my wire connected. Try that, switch cords/ports, restart computer. I didn't have any issues.
Has anyone get this to work on a Ducati Super Sports S? I got it to read and connect to the bike but it won't allow to reset the Annual Service Reminder. This is all I want to do. Dealer wants $400 for the service and won't reset without service. The first ELM 327 didn't work but it was the $9 one but the second won worked but it had the toggle switch on it just in case you guys want to know.
Mark Hill Yes, it will work with a Super Sports. It’s listed as a 939 Super Sports. It will connect and scan your ECU and you can make changes, but I was just looking to reset my Annual Service light and it wasn’t highlighted where I can select it. I’ve not used it for any other changes. I had to buy a $50 laptop with XP because the ports for connection wasn’t working with my Win10 melcog/jpdiag software.

Hey guys, I used a ELM527 with the HS/MS switch and it worked. It was running ELM527 v1.5. I have a 14 899. You definitely need the 4pin adapter.

Weird, no clue. If your bike is a 959 should work, just like mine did. Contact the dev? Maybe he has some answers.

No, that's what happened to me when i bought the ELM327 without the FT chip

Can the Melco software show any error codes? Is there any documentation on some of the features such as the MAP sensor calibration?
Yes Melcodiag does read codes, documentation you will have to look around, sorry.

I restarted everything, now it says COM5 🤨🤔
