That X pipe is beautiful! This car is amazing! IF I were you, I would swap your car out to this in a heartbeat!
Another 997 project? Yes, please!
I know the owner. We used to be in the same Evo group and did events together. He dealt with so much stupid shit just to get the car to run right until all this legal shit happened. I'm just glad it's out of his hair so he can get his Evo up and running again. Also helps with his overall morale
Va beach evos?
@@Gilligan.Garage hell yeah! You know about the ordeal?
@@christiancompton2326 yeah man, i saw when he posted in that group about it. Very unfortunate
You are having WAY TOO MUCH FUN! Enjoy watching your adventures, Thanks
Awesome can't get enough of these porsche builds, keep up the great content 👌
You got it! You guys keep sending them I'll keep buying them!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I appreciate the blog on the car Lee. Im super sad to see it go, but glad to know its getting another life. Now if you ever got time and want to help a brother out. I could use a hand getting this Evo x back together. Ive just been struggling with motivation to do it ever since the whole fiasco. However, I have everything needed. Just havnt had the motivation to lift it up and put it together.
Where did you have this advertised?
@@tombrown5508 are you asking where I advertised the car for sale?
@@homebredaquatics yes
@@tombrown5508 I did not advertise it. I contacted Lee directly as he mentioned in his previous videos
Get a cherry picker, I can 100% motor/transmission and we can finish it up. Are you trying to get it on a lift? 🤔
Use the rods as some sort of switches(have them stationed down and when u move them up have them switch on some sort of lights, garage opener, etc. is a good idea
Weld the legs on the crank in an upright position to support a glass table top. Make a coffee table out of it.
That was a fascinating video!!!! So informative and enlightening. Porsches on this level are insane to me.
3:00 i love how much y’all troll each other 😂😂
I love your builds and videos. Thank you and way to go!
I love this channel. It is so much fun watching your automotive antics!
glad you're enjoying!
Currently binge watching all these type episodes found your channel randomly. Glad i did
Love it! I really need to do a 997 or newer 911 build. These are special cars. Great video 🤜🏼
Man just love your videos I'm a gear head an unable to do car like before so really enjoy ur repairs thxs
i kinda like the yellow wall rims. looks good with the paint
You can reuse the engine case half. Has to be machined with said other half but it will work just fine. Sweet purchase!👍
I would suggest you encase that block half and crank in clear epoxy. Would make for an awesome end table.
That's a great idea!
Now to figure out how to do it...
@@LeeC I have a Boxster S Block sitting around that will meet the same fate ...eventually.
I'd bet they spun the bearing on that rod because it had something in it or was not installed correctly.
Not an overheat or oil starvation problem with just one bad cylinder.
That trailer is amazing!
I'm not a Porsche guy but you should be able to line hone that crank case piece if you paired it to another One.
Same with the crank, with a grind and oversized bearings it should be fine to use again as well
That car is beautiful! I'd love to own it!
Got to pick this beast up from NJ and deliver to Lee c hq and boy she is a beauty and a monster now
Nice project. Car looks like it is in great shape.
Can't get enough of your PORSCHE videos! Awesome job!🎉
You're in luck because I can't get enough Porsches!
Beautiful shots at the start 👍🏻 Great stuff guys!
You could make a cut away display, but with a catch. With the broken crankshaft weld and arm that when turned will raise out of the block and says "I hate Nissan Jukes". The other half giveaways 😊. I'd love a piston
Lee, great buying mate, it will be a great car when completed, great video again mate...love your channel 👍
I watched one of these videos and I seen where everybody was replacing the spoiler parts. These parts on the back of porches that I just learned about are not supposed to be installed. That way, there's supposed to be installed or less factory or the fan will be interrupted. The interruption is because you threw off the signal to the smaller at higher space. Now it will not read it won't raid the temperature and it won't cut the fan on plus there's several other problems that can be involved in interruptions. And operations of the cooler fan. It is true that these cars can make up the 900 horse. But the one there and the 911 just learned about was that 9000 RPM to make 6900 horse. The interruption is from the fact that the person ruined the car going over the recommended RPM by the results of destruction to the internal combat and engines rotating assembly.
I just love the thinking process, what do we have, what can we recoup, what is financially viable, and so on. That gives a different view on: I must rebuild with the old parts. You are in the extreme lucky circumstances to be able to pull parts out of a huge warehouse and that makes rescuing this beautiful car a dream come true, for the car. Such a shame the previous owner got this shoved down his throat. That is a huge bill to swallow.
It's not lost on me how fortunate I am to be able to grab parts off a shelf rather than order every single part!
Awesome channel and content and of course you guys are awesome too Can’t wait for the next uploads
Awesome 👊🏼I’m glad you can bring it back to life
Might as well get a "Kermit" green while you are at it. 😁
I second this idea
Should have went with Rennline eRams for the spoiler.
I'm sorry for both part in this case. The previsuly owner for all the money he has lost and for the shop who looks like they have tried to do a very good job. too bad it ended this way. but one mans "trash" is another mans gold. glad that you are the one to fix this car Lee . It's in the right hands.
It's a very beautiful car thanks so much for sharing it
Make a crate, fill it with resin drop it in and have a clear base /glass top coffee table
Very interesting content guys for porsche lovers!👍
Borg Warner actually makes great turbos...
MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE PORSCHE CONTENT !!!!!!!!!!! It will never be enough. Best car youtuber content right now
Turbos looks like EFR7163, maybe a SRM 997.1tt retrofit version?
Use the engine with a plate of glass as a monitor stand. Use the pistons heads as ashtrays. Hope this helps 😊
7 Grand for the crank, send it out to be repaired. They can weld it and re-grind it.
The cylinders should get the liners replaced and then you can sell them.
Can you please tell me where you purchased the soild adjustable rods for the wing?? Thanks!
This is also where the tools are very important to specific cars. Some tools become interruptions. Interruptions and to working on these cars come from the tools and hand tools and electronics. It should never be used on. These is including General motors forward Dodge Porsche Ferrari Lamborghini. Mazarati.

BUILD ONE OF THOSE SUBSCRIBER COUNTERS AS A MECHANICAL TALLY COUNTER!! THAT WOULD BE SO COOL!
Awesome grab Buddy excited to see how this build goes...😂😂😂
Loving the leather wrapped AC vents 👌🏾❤️👌🏾
Ad for safety glasses at 20:45 😂
You need to do an old school cut away of the complete engine. Cut away sections to see inside
Hi Lee. Nice Car bro, and it matches your Watch nicely lol. $15K for a used Transmission, Jesus Christ that's Mad money. $4K for a Clutch lol. I'm going to have a bloody Heart Attack bro. Keep up the Great Work Lee. We love your Channel here in Ireland. Chat soon 😅😅🇨🇮🇨🇮
Make a cool engineering cutaway for your shop with the scrap motor
Man, you rock!!!
Instead of wall art it would be cool to build a side table and use the cylinders as cup holders. If you had a rat rod build it would make an awesome center console and cup holders.
Use that crankcase as a key fob holder for all the cars you buy.
Awesome video!
Awesome video, thanks
Really cool to see more content from you guys, but I want to see the demon take shape!!
The Demon is coming together, it'll be back before you know it!
Barney and Bigbird😂😂😂
Looks like after the first failure spun bearing, who ever rebuild the engine the second time did not fully get all the metal shavings clean and that cause the second engine failure.. it is hard to fully clean all metal shavings out..
Hey Lee, wearing that grim reaper t-shirt lit a 💡 has anyone ever said you looked like Matthew Lillard? " Hello, Sidney." 💀😄
Make a Flower Pot out of the crank case
Excellent vid
Mag flux the crank, if it clears, metal spray and regrind makes a serviceable unit.
I think your Porsche looks good just need to paint match the hood. Cryoblast the underside and maybe replace the leather seats with new catskinz a nice forged carbon fiber steering wheel and some forged carbon interior pieces and it would be just about perfect.
Make it into a lamp stand with led strip at each connecting rod then where it failed have a red light coming from it
Love this project
How do you know the crank is bad has it been magna flux? Or is it bent??? 😮
Awesome love this channel respect
More doggo cameos, thanks!
I think it was on down stroke when the rod fail that’s why there’s no contact with the head.
There's a part of me that thinks that crank could be cleaned up and reground to be useful!
Now when are you going to make it out to GVBC?
I was there last November in the GT4! Hope to be back this year
Great content 👍
I want one of those trailers! What is it? Thanks!
I saw your unStock t-shirt...did you go?
I applied and got into the SECOND year of unStock but I didn't go. I live in Southern Oregon and that is a long ways. I thought that I would be chosen to be inside the facility but I didn't. So I didn't go.
I enjoyed everything about this build so far. I will always come back to your site when you are working on any Porsche; excepts the SUV versions.

Paid $45k for a blown engine 997.1 speed yellow turbo while i paid $42k out the door for my excellent condition 997.1 speed yellow turbo.
Must have been a high mileage car, or with accidents, or before 2021
Tiptronic’s suck
Coupe vs cab...
@@silktruck7933 I was going to mention that also, as well as it’s probably a slush box
@@petrolo72 my thoughts as well, most likely a tippy boy
Make a end table out it, glass top.
regrind that crank- its not done. for the part value, id seek advice from a shop. also that case could be fixed, its amazing what can be done these days, safely. keep up the great content :)
Thinking the same thing. Send the crank case to Steve Morris Race engines.
Yep definitely can be fixed....I was crying when he said wall art
How do I contact you about this car? I might be interested in it finished.
I sold the previous owner that custom exhaust, my friend and I make them 👍
Man you love the series 1 turbos form 2007
What are you going to ask for it complete? I'm interested.
I am thinking of a grill for the shop would be nice
Great Video
Make a Lamp or table out if the Crank
Grind that crank bro…use it ….use those heads get a used long block 😮
Being a Porsche, I think Tweety would be a more appropriate name.
Where are you finding cars like this?
Not going to lie I was falling asleep then you posted the video and I just got hit with adrenaline,
🎉
Cool 😎 !
All you need now is a gt3 rs in green ( kermit!) hahahaha
Why not put some of these awesome parts on your purple porche like the clutch and the intake and throttle body
Should have used pauter rods and stock crank for the 1000hp build
Where is the link to your ebay shop??
Amazing video.
20:51 That's what she said. That's what she said.
Build a coffee table of the spare parts or real mccoy wall art etc....
I’d say a 600hp Porsche would be nicer/less terrifying to drive than a 1000hp Porsche . Also more accessible power
what year is it?
