Mycotoxins Mitigation in 2024

The key message is - this challenge will never end. This year we saw more than 90% contamination of the samples submitted to our MasterRisk Tool. More than 75% of the samples had more than two mycotoxins. Aflatoxin, DON, Fumonisin and T-2 are the ones we’re seeing most, in various configurations around the world.
Basically, it’s just impossible to ignore mycotoxins. We in fact know it will only get worse, with extreme weather conditions impacting raw material quality in the field and first storage points, and with longer shipping times and more extreme weather affecting storage in transit and at destination.
