Lebih tepat kalau perempuan jaga cara berpakaian dan pergaulan lelaki akan ada rasa segan dan rasa hormat. Untuk lelaki bernafsu buas, syahwat pun kurang.
Sebab tu dari kecik, jangan didik perempuan je jaga pergaulan dan pakaian sahaja, lelaki pun perlu dididik supaya hormat perempuan, suka ke kalau adik beradik atau mak sendiri dibuat begitu? Faktor pakaian tidak relevan, ada je mereka yang bertutup litup dan jaga pergaulan diusik dengan lelaki. Budaya 'bunyi tikus' yang selalu lelaki buat dekat perempuan sendiri menjatuhkan maruah perempuan itu tidak kira berpakaian seperti apa

I'm Malaysian but I always wear seatbelt because of safety. The consequences if one did not wear seatbelt properly is much severe. So I really dont understand why other people did not want to wear seatbelt. It's FREE of charge!

Thank you for sharing your experience. The last point, I think it differs from family to family and the area you grew up in. I am born and raised in KL and my parents have always taught me about car safety since young, so it's natural for me to always wear seat belt, no matter if I'm driving or sitting behind. But I hope more Malaysians practice wearing seat belts more and the importance of children always remain seated and buckled up in a moving vehicle.

Curt, Islam comprises a lot of things, and all these need to be discovered thoroughly. The main root of Islam refers to Tauhid which is pretty much related with belief in Islam. The meaning of Tauhid is hardly understood due to the fact that it requires high level of thinking. That includes critical analysis profounding the meaning of Islam. For a foreigner to immerse himself with cultures of local folks, I think you won't get much about Islam, and culture is just a manifestation of what Islam is about.

For every human being, life is a journey to the hereafter. Indeed, life in hereafter starts just after death. We know that everyone has soul and physical body, death is a process of getting rid of soul from body. Just after burying the dead , Allah will realive him for questioning by the angles , namely Mungkar and Nakir on several cases . First, who is your God? Second, What do you know about Muhammad pbuh? Some other related questions pertaining to your neighbors etc. All the above are easily understood and to have a firm belief is another matter. Allah exists and His existance doesn't start at a particular time. It means His existance has no starting point of time frame. Time itself is another creation. Should we associate His existance with time, it is a misunderstanding of Him. Let's say that time weren't created, would Allah exist? So, His existence is absolute regardless of all creations. That is part of the discussion on His existence, and a lot more of His attributes are really helpful in understanding who Allah is. It really tough to go through but simply said that the firm belief on THERE IS NO GOD BUT ALLAH, AND PROPHET MUHAMMAD PBUH IS HIS MESSENGER is a necessary condition for becoming a Muslim.
actually I have to disagree, islam is simple. tauhid basically means belief in one God. meaning pure monotheism. (as opposed to other religions, which often involves worship of multiple deities e.g. chrisitianity and the concept of trinity). As you probably understood in your shahadah, what it takes to be a muslim is 2 fundamental beliefs - belief in only one God, Allah, and belief in the final messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him). once you accept those then that makes you a muslim following up with that are the other pillars of islam like 5 daily prayers, zakat, hajj, and fasting in ramadan which are mandatory but as a revert you should not rush and push yourself beyond what you think you can do. slowly better yourself and evolve each day as a better practicing muslim. take one day at a time. disregard people who rush you to make drastic changes when you're already doing your best. becoming a true practicing muslim takes time, infact even for born muslims, learning to practice islam properly can take a lifetime. we are human, no one can change overnight. once those fundamentals mentioned are strong enough then you can challenge yourself more by delving into the tafsir of the quran and hadith etc. meaning, learning the meaning of the quran and understanding of its application in the modern world, learning the sunnahs of the prophet on how he lived his life and how you can apply it in your life etc. i do however agree on the part where you said culture of locals may not necessarily translate well into islam, which is true, because culture and religion are 2 separate things and often than not people get confused between what is culture and what is religion if they never studied the religion properly for themself. so just a word of advice, if you see muslims behaving badly, know that they do not represent islam, islam as a religion is perfect, but muslims are not.

Actually the law now is even the back passengers must wear seat belt. All new cars will have seat belts. It's just not enforced which it should by law.

In Malaysia, only driver and front passenger are compulsory to wear seatbelt

Actually the law now
is even the back passengers must wear seat belt. All new cars will have seat belts.
It's just not enforced which it should by law.
