that was bloomin impressive, well done logic (and you for partnering with them) and with how thick that was i bet it is super quality as a paint protection for the factory colour
Logic is on a whole other level and Cam really knows his craft. James brilliant partnering up with logic and having it all under one roof. That peelable paint tech truly is incredible👏
Such a cool technology. With wraps becoming so mainstream in the US I could see this being adopted as a premium alternative for high-end cars that could not be ordered in PTS colors or for second-hand customers still paying high prices for supercars. Wouldn’t be surprised if you haven’t been approached to license this tech in L.A., Miami and NYC.

Thanks for addressing my first concern: How do you get rid of the paint in the crevasses. (I heard that's the nasty little secret about wraps: they do not come off as easily as one would assume.)
without the membrane, the paint would not stay "stuck" to the shiny factory paint in the first place. If one does not scuff to create a rough surface for new paint to stick to, the new paint will come off in sheets in no time. So the membrane is also key for long term adhesion.
When I saw the unwrapped GT3 on your Uncut, I was confused for a second. I was like “did James just rent a chalk GT3?” Then I saw the plates and got even more confused until I remembered at some point that you peeled the paint off. And yes this blue should work much better
Mr JWW Absolutely Incredible Video I think it's Absolutely Incredible how easily Logic's Peelable Paint Flim comes off and I can't wait to see your 991.2 911 GT3 repainted in that absolutely gorgeous Color
Thkanks soooo much to sharing that one James ! It's been a long time i hope to see how this paint can be removed off and it was worth it. Simply amazing !
That's way better than a wrap. Wraps you have to worry or run the risk about it pulling up the stock paint when pulling it off. That looks like it came off so cleanly and easily there is no risk of that happening
i would add pcs of that paint to orders if u had a mr.jww shop., edit. i do like how he loves nerding out about paint. i could listen all day. i wish i knew more about auto paint
Starting price for this coating was 10000 pounds, 4 years ago at Topaz. You can see this in an old Shmee150 video about transforming his AMG G63 at what was called Topaz, I think. The price is stated just before the 13-minute mark. That's an expensive colour change😁
i love the concept, basically wrap the car then paint over the wrap, it seems like the best of both worlds, and hopefully it reduces the prep work needed to lay a good paintjob. I am curious as to what the price compares to both a traditional wrap and a high quality paintjob, keeping in mind that during this process, you're still going to incur the cost of a traditional wrap.
I'm shocked he doesn't have a draw down tool. That way you can get a better idea of what it will look like. Plus it'll dry quicker. Being a sample and all.

Would be cool if available in the US! I have dreams of a few car/color combinations that I’d love to see. I guess I need the cars to start with though?
This is so crazy. I think you need to get rid of the yellow on the pccb calipers, it has a singer feel to it with that interior and they are a bit clashing imo.
How expensive is Logic paint? Do you have to drive your car to their shop or is it like any interested shop is able to license this and do it near you?
Well plasti-dip the colour and the application is all in one, its a rubberised coating. This is a liquid removable membrane and then actual real automotive paint applied top as the second stage.
I think in a video on another channel it was the same as a fairly good paint job, 15 to 20k USD. (I think it was a Shmee150 video shot at a competitor in England, Dub customs, someone like that, the name has slipped my mind, they were doing it pre Covid) WAY more money than a wrap.
A friend was enquiring about using this paint process to refresh his GT3 … he says that Logic told him the peelable paint has a shelf life … would be good to get clarity please from Cam / James on this. Thanks for sharing the removal process. I’m interested in the spray on PPF and would have the same question as my intention would for the PPF to be on for life. Hope you pick this up, thanks, Paul
No right or wrong It’s down to quality levels - plasti-dip is not designed for a full car, it’s effectively rubberised material and has a shorter recommended surface lifespan. Wraps are getting good but you’re fixed to the colours on offer and you can’t care for/maintain a wrap like paint, even have to be careful how you wash it. Additionally the surface quality of a wrap usually looks like a wrap. Removable paint is manufacturer grade, real paint. It is good for the life of the car as per paint, it is treated as paint so can be polished, buffed etc, you have infinite colour options including exact match of manufacturer paints (think Porsche PTS and Lamborghini Ad-Personum) and it has in-built PPF qualities but mostly the quality and finish is The. Real. Deal. 😎🏁

Many variables mostly down to what paint and complexity of car. Triple layer Rosso Magma on an SUV for example would be a lot more than a flat paint on a hot hatch. Not the answer you're looking for I understand but the variables determine the price dramatically
So Dude, did you just "pull off" a $20,000 paint job?!! I know you're a head Honcho there at the facility, and perhaps you can write off some of the costs to the business and your channel but holy crap, that's still a bunch of coin. Satisfying to watch too. Well done.
