Satu (Original Song)

This is one of my favorite. Wrote this back in 2019 after spending too much time watching jazz tutorials here on UA-cam. I'm originally a classical musician and I hated jazz for the longest time because I couldn't understand it, therefore my mind wouldn't allow me to enjoy it. 2 years and a couple mental breakdowns later, my whole view on art and music shifted and long story short, I am both now overwhelmed and incredibly impressed by jazz and its practitioners.
I wouldn't say this song is jazz or anything of that sort. But it does have some of its nuances. Its my way of saying thank you to that particular form of art slash way of thinking.

PS : for non Indonesians out there, Satu means "One" and the lyrics speak about a journey of a woman towards freedom in both the mind and the body.
